Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The cold crystals were pressing against Kurohebi's back as he was resting against them, he never really needed to worry about such a mondain activity before. There was a thin layer of vapor around the ground, almost like the ground itself was envaloped in mist, like walking on clouds. The air was relatively cold too and each breath would form a small puff of vapor as well, only shows that he still had something warm inside of him, even him. He opened his eyes, watching the wreckage of what used to be the establishment his host used to work in, and the tombs around him, formed by that very same person belong to the people who used to work alongside him as well. His eyes were tired, he himself was tired in fact. To think that just a couple of days ago, he escaped from the icy grip of death as well, what a shame it is. He wasnt done though, he still had an abition, and although his body is weak and weary, he managed to restore most of his power already, just a little more rest and he will be able to restore the rest. The external shell already recovered from the wounds he recieved before and while he does look fine, he is still not ready to go and hunt that person down, not just yet.

Moments passed, then minutes, then hours and finally days. He was resting against that crystal for a week, not moving an inch, he could feel the chakra forming inside of him, he could feel its mass reaching the edges of the shell and filling him inside, he knew that just a little longer and he could get up again, but something wasnt right, his eyes dont seem to see as well as before, he wondered why, he wondered if its because his host got weaker or because his grip over him got weaker. His body is now shaking, trembling although slightly but it was noticible. The slight vibrations started to echo through the cave as it was repeatedly hitting against the crystal. A pulse of light was emited from his body to the shell and outword, creating a weak flare of light centered around the body itself. It vanished soon after, but it was a peculier sensetion indeed. He couldnt understand what was going on, he looked around, everything looked the same, and then again, a pulse of light emited from his body, moving out like a wave radiated from the very core of his being, well, his host's being that is. Then it hit him, Tao is trying to break out. Another pulse was emited within the dark haired man.

"it hurts... It hurts? Why...? Since when does this body feel pain?"

He rised his hand and he saw that the surface of his palm was cracked, he turned his hand around and saw the back of it, it was cracked as well, he could see the black vapor escaping through the crack. He tried to block it with his other hand but he could still see black vapor.

"what is the meaning of this?"

He looked down, there were two fairly large cracks going across his legs, it was clear that it was hollow at that point, as the crack was quite wide. The vapor started to gash out, it first went up and then started to decend to the ground, forming a small personal cloud of his colored in black. Another pulse of light surged through him, this caused the vapor to excellerate and flow even faster. Against his better judgement he decided to try to stand, get his barings around. He tried to use his hands as a support and get up, it was difficult as his right hand began to crack further as he applied preasure on it, the shell didnt seem to heal very well, or rather, it got weaker? He tried to use the tombstone as a support as well, and this time he managed to pull himself up, barely standing, his legs were shaking and he looked at his own reflection in the crystal tomb, he saw his face, it was smiling. He didnt understand, he is in pain, he is breaking apart and yet he is smiling? His hair was whitening and some of the vapor that escaped him started turning white. His legs lost their strength and he collapsed again. Laying down on the ground, he tried to move his hand towards his own reflection, staring back at him through the crystal with a demented expression, with eyes wide open and a twisted smile.

"Its not over yet! I'll not let go of this body, you hear me! YOU ARE NOT GETTING IT BACK!"

He screamed internaly, his face was cracking as well as well as the rest of his body, from what he could hear and feel at least. He tried to get up again, but there was no more strength in his arms, he could barely move them at this point, and suddenly his vision blackened, he could not see, hear, feel, smell or taste. He couldnt understand what is going on or comprehand his surroundings.

"Its... Not.... Over... Yet...

He was losing conciousness, until finally he was not aware of anything, even his own thoughts. But something happened, the body began to move again, slightly, but it was moving nonetheless. The vapor that was escaping his body was now in a much smaller vollium and was white, pure white in fact. His hair is white as well, his body structure resembled that of the corpse he found all those years ago, and the broken pieces began to try and reassble themselves, he couldnt get anything that broke off of him any closer, but he could try to at least patch up anything that remained on him. He looked up, he saw a confused expression, smiling, but it wasny wickid, but rather soft, calm and happy. He finally was able to see for himself, and feel for himself, nobody was moving for him anymore, not that he could notice at least. He layed there for several days, it took a while, but he managed to reform his body, after all, Tao himself was safe. He could move again, it was slow, and he is still extremely weakened from the internal battle that occured several days ago, but he managed to recover some of his strength at the very least. He started getting up, and decided to sit down next to the tombstone that his previous guest was resting against, he wanted to respect the resting place of his fallen comrades, soiling their memories by resting against their thombstones is disrespectful after all. He knew that from now on, he was his own man, not being controlled by anything but the threads of fate and his own will, once more. he waited until he would be able to move his legs properly again, or the closest thing to it, and started to make his way back to the ruins, at least he could maybe find some shelter in some area which was still preserved during this whole time.
