Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Outside The Pagoda

He gasped as he almost stumbled when he began to step forward. His initial assault had missed, making him tense all the more. “Calm… down? Don’t fuck with me! You’re just like the rest.” He then draws out his other blade, Kunihiro the wakizashi, seeing how he had lost his hold over Nakigitsune after he was thrown earlier. Though just a wakizashi, the blade felt heavy against his wounded hand, but he would grip it tightly as he could.

As the swelling of the energy burned brighter around him, he could almost feel a convulsion building up but he resisted it. Instead, he would raise the wakizashi and send his chakra pouring towards the blade, engulfing it with the power. “I won’t die… I won’t die again!” And at that, he sent out a burst of lightning from the tip of his blade, darting towards Junko. And he, too, would move with immense speed, his jinchuuriki aura carving on the ground as it ate along the path.

He would let loose a flurry of attacks with the blade. And with his eyes reflecting the aura of the Medical Sennin, a memory would flash into his mind that all more made him tremble with anger. “Not now. Not yet. I won’t let you kill me… Father!” And when he closed in, he would release a sword of explosive chakra with his swing, sending out a kinetic shockwave that was amplified by his beast’s power.

“Calm… down? Don’t fuck with me! You’re just like the rest.”

Watching as the young boy raged on, Junko could see the chaotic energy exploded even more. Watching Kiri ready himself with his blades, Junko readied himself as well.

“I won’t die… I won’t die again!”

In an instant, the boy attacked, sending lightning directly towards Junko. Quickly crossing his forearms at his chest to block the incoming attack, Junko was hit directly, causing a small explosion to occur on the battlefield. Darting straight into the smoke of the explosion with speed, Kiri began to unleash a serious series off attacks. Listening, Junko could hear the wind being cut due to the young lads attacks, giving the Sennin only split moments to dodge.

“Not now. Not yet. I won’t let you kill me… Father!”

In that exact instant, a collision would occur as the two energies would collide, causing the smoke to disperse. Holding Kiri's blade, Junko could almost feel the rage and sadness of the boy. His emotions were displayed in every movement and something seemed almost...... broken inside Kiri.

"......Kiri.... I can protect you..." Junko said as his hand shook. He was grabbing the blade tighter and blood began to ooze from his hand. Looking into the Childs chaotic eyes, Junko was hoping that maybe.... just maybe.... Kiri could feel Junko. Just as Junko could feel Kiri.

Through the smoke of the explosion, Kiri would make use of it to hide himself as he rushed through and beginning attacking. Every slashing movement of his sword had every bit of his energy, seemingly out to take and kill the target. That was the only way. It was either to kill or be killed. But in the midst of the flurry, his blade would be caught by the other, locking him.

Gritting his teeth, Kiri would stand his ground and push all his energy towards his sword, trying to move forward. As the words left through Junko’s mouth, Kiri could feel a nostalgic wave wash over him but he would not let it win. “Liar. You… everyone… You don’t see anything past a demon in front of you!” he growled as he took another step forward and try to get his sword out, hoping to pull it out and swing for another attack.

“Liar. You… everyone… You don’t see anything past a demon in front of you!”

As the words left Kiri's mouth and his emotions poured out ha heart, Junko could feel the boy continue to press. Despite the pressure, Junko would be unmoved. Kiri was too weak. His energy was nearly drained completely and Junk was at full strength.

"I see..... Kiri. A boy that has a demon, but is not the demon. A boy that have the same thing I had growing up..... Nothing." Junko said letting his words digest in the young man's mind. "I know you and see you because it's like looking in the mirror and seeing a little me fighting for control and peace all over again." Junko said closing his eyes.

Junko fought the war Kiri is fighting. In fact, he was still fighting as his kids were put in the loop because of Junko. The blood demon king Mazoku was sealed, but the blood demons sought to release him. In the process, they'd destroy cloud if they had to, and strived to destroy everything close to Junko. "Im here for you and can help you. From my heart, can give you the one thing you need. Love. Just as my sensei gave me." Junko said pausing before letting the boy choose one of the most important decisions of his life. Life... or Death.

Despite his intense anger, his refusal to give in to any sweet words, he could feel the collapse of his world. In his mind, he could sense the presence of his brother’s soul. The beast who was formed from the very fragment of his brother’s soul was surprisingly at peace in his soulscape. And as he cried out, his brother would embrace him protectively, whispering into his ears.

In the fight with Junko, Kiri would not let his eyes avert from the man before him despite knowing the gap between their strength. He takes another step forward, though he lowers his head this time. “No… you’re just lying,” he would insist as tears begin to fall down his cheeks. It was painful, in his heart, in his soul, his body all weak and weary. It was just too painful to live at that very moment. And then hearing his brother’s own words whispered to him – to let go of the anger of the past.

“I… I’ve lived for this!” Kiri tries to strengthen his hold and push forward but it was his legs that gave way. Off-balanced he would fall, losing his grip on his sword and on his knees on the ground. Gasping heavily, he could feel his energy leave his body, the raging demonic aura dissipating slowly. But he was always stubborn. That was the reason he survived all these years, otherwise he would have succumbed to the harsh reality of life. But as he would try to help himself by pushing a hand on the ground to stand, he just couldn’t. His legs felt so heavy he could barely move them.

“I…” he looked down on the ground as he tried his best to suppress his voice from shaking as tears flowed from his eyes. The burden, all the frustration, and the guilt simply overwhelming him from inside was uncontrollable now. His gaze fell on the sword that fell to the ground and he gritted his teeth. “I hurt my friend…” And his eyelids felt heavy as he would not be able to sustain his balance, and he leaned forward, now seemingly curled over towards the ground as his head was against the cold surface, prostrating as if begging. “I don’t deserve anything…” Alas, he could not hold back and he began to cry, from a gentle sobbing to a sudden loud cry.

“No… you’re just lying,”
"I… I’ve lived for this!"

Listening to the boy, Junko watched as the lad fell to his knees. The chaotic chakra dissipated as the boy simply trembled. He was done. He could barely move.

“I hurt my friend…”

Watching the boy put his face in the dirt, Junko knew the tears were about to come as his parenting senses kicked in.

“I don’t deserve anything…”

"Sure don't." a single voice said as the duo was suddenly surrounded by masks. They had landed with barely a sound and they were all ready to battle. Junko's eyes simply shifted, observing the ANBU.

"it's ...Junko-sama..."

"Yes, stand down."

"Stand down?" the single voice said obviously a captain of the group. Masks turned to the captain as if he was a fool. It was obvious that the ANBU had been without leadership for too long and some forgot their place.

They all knew much of Junko. He was trained by the shinbatsu student himself, previous Raikage, and their previous ANBU Sennin. Junko was well acquainted with them, especially after fighting along side them as apart of the sentou henka. It had been sometime and a reminder was apparently needed.

"Fool... that's ...."

"I don't give a .."

"I said....stand down. No one is to hurt the boy." Junko said maliciously now standing behind the captain. In an instant, everyone was frozen in place as not even a glimpse of Junko's movement was seen. "We'll take the boy to the prison. Give word to the Raikage with a report and that he's needed at the prison as well." Junko said with a pause as the ANBU began to move on his orders.

"Oh and captain..... I'd be careful if I was you." Junko said making his way to pick up Kiri to carry him.
