Ryota readjusted his scarf around his face. “Too early…” the voice was one of a grumpy one and his eyes still had this hint of sleep. Once he got outside of his house, he vanished. The teen used quickstep to navigate through the city to the underground. He had to chase some rumors around now.
Ryota had thrown someone into some crates. “Feel like talking” He had overheard this person earlier talking about a girl shipping and something about success. The man, now lying in the crates, winced under his breath as he pushed a crate to the side. “Look… I don’t want trouble…” Right there, Ryota spoke up. “Too bad you found it, now speak…” And yet the man didn’t speak… A sigh left the teen, why did they never want to speak..? Why did he always have to result too… breaking fingers? A snap came and the man screamed out, but in this part of the world, no one dared to figure out where the sound came from. This was something Ryota had come accustomed to these days. Not sure his brother was approving of this route… But it was one of Ryota.
In the end, it took the man 4 fingers before he started to speak. “A young girl, often near him so already exposed to the herbs… And that was two days ago. A man in robes got to her and took her with him. A heavy feeling got to his heart when Ryota heard about how the girl looked.
It still took him two more days, two long days before he found out where she was taken… At least a general direction. “Gaze upon the ember eye, you're mesmerized. Ashes falling from the sky, eternal gray. The flame of chaos never dies, it justifies” He repeated those words as he took a glance over the map. He repeated them… Those were the words, or rather riddle that he had gotten… but with the last scouting mission with his group… He had noticed that there were rocks where it almost looked like there were red orbs in… And when the sun was setting, the mirroring effect on the sand was like it was set ablaze on the sand. Of course, this was just a mirage effect from the orbs, but it had to be there. With that… he started to pack a lot of things, at first it was just a bag with a single set of clothes… But then he figured this may take a day or two, and started to pack some water, dried food that could last for a little while, and bandages. “I may know a lot of jutsu by now… but I must not run out of chakra…” he spoke to no one in particular… A habit that he had gotten since he had his little ghost friend with him.
