1200 December 29

She had made her way from her residence to the village gate. She made several stops along the way, a small shop where she bought a trio of hard boiled eggs, a few slices of whole grain bread, two water skins already filled and two pieces of fruit. She would sign her name in full, there was no attempt to leave under the cover of darkness. Her movement out of the village obvious, her destination marked as "Comptois" a small trade station several miles outside of the village of Sunagakure. Her anticipated return written as "within a full day".

Note: not a run. Just marking movement for the sake of stalkers.

It would be hard to pursue her in secret, that was the point. The open desert awaited.

December 29 1925 PM

She returned to Sunagakure, weary from her journey by foot. It was more temperate this time of the year, but the desert was still hot and dry on its best of days. A sachel still over her shoulder carrying prescious cargo, a book. Not much had been written today, perhaps there was nothing of value to record or perhaps her mind was otherwise occupied.

It was then that she had a notion, it came like a shock of electricity. She had pondered for most of this day what she would comission as she made her way into the clan houses for her next appointment. "A spiney dragon ouroboros," she mentioned to herself outloud.

She would greet the masked sentinel, sign her name and open her bag to reveal a book, some dried meat, one empty and one full waterskin and a piece of bread wrapped in cloth. She had already consumed the fruit and eggs as well as the first waterskin.

A polite exchange offered, if she was allowed to pass she would enter Sunagakure.
