Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Shimete walks through the front doors of the Torre Celeste. She was not alone, for she had a shinobi by the name of Tetsuya with her. They were there to get passport to enter into the outer village zones of cloud. It was unusual for a student to be making such a request but the circumstances were unusual. Tetsuya was hired to capture a demon that is expected to be running amuck. He was also paid for silence. The Nigiri clan did not any of this information leaking out. She goes to the front desk and hand the secretary a letter. The letter was written by the head of the Tsubaki clan, the clan the Nigiri serves. The letter is a request for two passports to The Heartland of Kaminari no Kuni. The letter states the Nigiri Shimete is to perform a ritual of enlightenment. The other shinobi, Tetsuya, is to escort her to said location.

It was just a year ago that Tsubaki Kuzuma, Shimete's master, went on the ritual himself. It was the event that he returned blinded by a demon curse. Shitmete always blamed herself for not having the courage to take the ritual with him. The Tsubaki head has no idea that his letter was going to be used for a different purpose. In order to keep up appearances Shimete will need to bring back an animal she killed herself.

Some would find it hard to believe that a Sasaki would be taking part in such a contract, one that required deception of this level. A family not particularly rich in material, made up for it with a wealth of Reputation. One built on compassion, generosity, and truth. This agreement was going against everything the family stood for, and Tetsuya knew this. But for decades the Village had mocked his family for their benevolence, and doubted their ability. It was only after the invasion, when they proved themselves, at the cost of more than half their clan, did the village acknowledge them as worthy.

With his Father Insane, it was now Tetsuya who would lead the family. And despite his teachings, he knew that now was their best chance to solidify a place in the village. He needed to form alliances of sorts with others, at all costs, only then would their place be permanent. He hoped that this assignment would lead to trust, and he'd eventually reach the point where he could forge a union between the Sasaki and the Nigiri.
There was only one thing in his way, despite being the first born, his position of Head wasn't exactly guaranteed from birth. Tetsuya had inherited power so far up the family tree that it lacked any of the goodness present in today's generations. And that scared everyone. Sooner or later he'd be asked to step down, and in line with tradition he'd have to. He'd have to achieve his goal before then, before he lost control of the clan's future. This agreement would expedite his plans, or at least so he hoped.

And helping this girl was the assignment. The Jounin walked behind Shimete, quietly, he watched as she handed over the papers. It was interesting, to say the least. This Girl was the one he was suppose to help, she was a student, not actually ready for battle of any kind. Why would her Clan send her out to achieve something, Tetsuya could obviously handle without her? Only time would tell, not really something This shinobi had much of. So he painted a smile on his face, and closed the gap between them. He could see over the child's head that the Secretary was taking her time reading, and so saw fit to clear his throat: Encouraging her to speed up the process.

[Hitomi - Head Secretary to Raikage ]
Hitomi's sighed as she placed the shuffled papers on the side of her desk. She looked rather irritated as her hand caressed her temple.

"I will be candid with you. It is not normal practice for a student to leave the village unless under extenuating circumstances." She said moving a strand of her black hair away from her face. Her brown eyes flashed into the glimmering florescent light as she examined the girl and the boy. The last time a student left the village he nearly was killed even though the raikage had personally released the student. There was a reason why students were not allowed to leave the village. There was more paper involved in a student's death than any training shinobi. The village had to report the death to the family which more likely would escalate into a civil issue, then there was the issue of explaining to clients why the village endorse children employment. As head secretary of the tower all of that responsibility was placed on Hitomi. It was not like Hitmoi did not care but more concern with the possible consequences.

"For the time being, I can provide a passport to Tetsuya-san but I will need for you to personally inform the raikage before I proceed with anything else." She continued. She reached forward her vest pocket and pulled out and popped open a silver platted watch with the cloud insignia engraved on the back. It was approximately fifteen minutes passed noon. "The raikage is on his daily lunch break so I will inform him of your arrival." She said snapping the watch and sliding it back into her pocket. She began to take out a folder that contain a series of perforated plastic sleeves. She removed one sleeve and placed in at the center of the desk. The sleeve was no bigger than an small wallet. She went back into her desk and pulled out a blank card and presented it to Tetsuya.

"Please fill out the form so I may complete your passport." She exhorted.

Shimete was not surprised that she would have to meet the Raikage, however she did feel the need to correct the secretary. Her master was able to perform the ritual due to the fact that he was not a student yet at that time. Her master later joins the academy but she did not for the clan would not allow it. Only those who passed the ritual were allowed to join the shinobi academy within the Tsubaki and Nigiri clans. The ritual is a rite of passage one must perform before continuing on to greater training. “I’m afraid there is a misunderstanding.” She pulls out her personal papers and hands them to the secretary. “As you can see here. I am not registered in the academy. However it is my understanding that even a civilian is required a passport to leave.” Hopefully if she does still require to see the Raikage, he will understand her desire to join the academy with her master, instead of merely being there as a simple aid for his studies. “I will understand if I still need to meet the Raikage due to my age.”

[OOC: Feel free to have her still need to meet the Kage. I’m not trying to be difficult, just stressing the importance of this ritual.]

Tetsuya had expected this reaction, he'd be a fool if he didn't. He took the papers presented to him, and filled it out as quickly as possible. Hoping that Shimete had something up her sleeves that would prove to the Raikage her ability to survive with his help. If they couldn't convince their Kage of that, it would be major offset to his plans.

Extenuating Circumstances he repeated for himself, going over their situation in his head, wondering if their front was enough to qualify.

"I see." She said as she adjusted her large square glasses. She received the new sheets of papers studying its contents. All that was said was all there. The young girl's history, medical records, and other miscellaneous records. Shimete was still under the status of civilian but she pending to join the academy some time next week from what Hitomi had remembered; however, the girl had not finished her application as requested. Hitomi looked up to see the young girl's pensive but stern countenance determine to obtain her passport.

"You are correct to some degree. Civilians require a passport if they are under the control of Kumogakure. If something were to happen to anyone then it would be under Kumogakure's responsibility, especially the Raikage." She said as received the completed paperwork from Tetsuya. It only took a few moments to fabricate the passport. The completed product was presented to Tetsuya in a small brown wallet approximately three inches in length. On the inside flap held a small picture showing Tetsuya's profile and a small blocks of text detailing Tetsuay's status, brief medical history and other miscellaneous information.

"Hayata-sama. I have two individuals that need to speak about traveling with the country. One of them is a student." She began. There was a brief chatter between Hitomi and the Raikage accommodated with solemn nods. This conversation ended and Hitomi brought her eyes toward the two.

"You may see the Raikage now. Make sure you do not get lost in the stairwell."

Now it was time to meet the leader of the village; needless to say she was nervous of hell. This was the man that lead this entire village; word is law. She will need to convince him to give her a passport. She puts her hands together, bows her head and says a little prayer. Legs shaking she walls up the steps to the kage.

Tetsuya took his passport, and placed it in his inside pocket, not really paying attention to this process. He kept his attention on the conversation, while remaining quiet. It seemed that the two would need to meet the Raiakge, after all, as expected. He can see the girl losing control of her nerves, her legs were shaking. Hopefully the prayer calmed her day a bit. When she moved forward, The shinobi was but a step behind.
