Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Matsu sat quietly behind a desk in the actual academy. While he was more likely to physically abuse his students than teach depending on the day, he had felt that a mental exercise was worth far more than just beating them into a place of submission. Slowly he'd raise himself from his seat and write his name in a very crude way upon the board. His penmanship was most definitely not the best. However, written upon the board was [Takahashi Matsu with their clan symbol sketched exceptionally well below it. What he lacked in formal writing skills with laziness he made up for well with his artistic talents. After writing his name he would sit back down and wrap his fingers around a desert apple before lifting it to his face and biting into it. What a pleasant weakness to love such a glorious fruit. So bitter. So reminding. And so he would wait.

It was another bright, busy morning in the Land of Sand, good ol' Sunagakure. The hustling and bustling city was very much active that time of day, as it was everday. You could easily get lost in the crowds in Suna, especially in the lower city depths where there were twisting alleways, sidestreets and the occasional thug. Fortunately Kagari knew his way around at this point; how to avoid the congestion of crowds that flooded the tunnels, and pathways. How to avoid any unncesary attention from some of the not so "friendly" inhabitants that didn't like you on their territory. Either way, today was just like yesterday, and will be the same tomorrow; a brief walk to the academy.

So far his stunt in the academy has been descent, it's been a few months now and he's learned the basics pretty well. A training session did stick out amongst his memories of the academy, and a white haired woman kicked his ass as well as two others. Not to mention what he thought was a strange dream that he was with many others from the academy were in the spirit world on a mission... Regardless, he didn't know what to expect at this point. As he approached the class he was taking today, he opened the door and was both suprised/thankful that a new person was standing in the door. So far Kagari had only expierence with another teacher, the white haired sensei Amagai Saieko and another instructor. He had never seen this man before, as well as he was suprised by his clothing. He wore a long coat that looked to be quite layered; it looked like formal apperal that nobles and presits would wear in the old days. Also, it's in the middle of summer in Sungakure were the tempatures rise to ridiculous levels despite them being almost subterranean.

Kagari then remembered to look at the board this timeframe, notcing a name; most likely the man's as well as a strange symbol beneath it. After hearing a small bite from the apple, Kagari was shook from his senses and introduced himself.
"Good morning Sensei." Kagari bowed politely, and then walked over to a desk. "I'm Toshiwakai Kagari, I'm in your care."

Noroi was walking down to his class in the busy areas of Suna when he passes a stray dog, not very big or old, but it looked pretty hungry and Noroi felt pity on it. He knew that the butchery he occasionally did temp work at took up strays and....Noroi didn't really like to think of it. So he took a few moments to sit down and feed the stray puppy, then placed it in his backpack. He knew he may get in trouble if he was caught, but Noroi was somewhat confident that he could make it through the day without being caught. So he continued his way onto the looming building in the distance, making sure that the dog in his backpack could breathe but wasn't seen.

When he got to the building he took his time, since there was plenty of it. The dog squirmed a little, but Noroi hoped that no one would notice, and started to recall the last few classes he had. There was that first teacher, a gentleman who was pretty intimidating, but he taught Noroi a good bit. Then there was that white haired teacher, who was also terrifying and Noroi was pretty intemidated of her too. She taught him and the other classmates how to fight, and then there was that terrifying trip to the spirit world. Noroi still had nightmares about the bloody field and those three girls..., but Noroi sort of had fun. He had learned about a feral instinct he had deep down, a bloodlust actually. People seemed to be scared of it, but Noroi felt that he could become stronger from it, like he could maybe develop around it.

When he entered the classroom, he saw a new teacher. The new teacher had written his name, Takashi Matsu. Noroi looked at him for a moment. He was dressed pretty formally, which made Noroi feel self conscious about his clothes, which were pretty oversized, torn, and dirty, basically rags. Noroi saw his relaxed posture and munching the apple, then looked at the detailed drawing of the symbol. Noroi looked him in the eye, then nervously bowed respectfully.

"G-good m-morning s-sensei. M-my n-name I-is ningyō N-Noroi, I h-hope I c-can be u-useful.." He stammered nervously, then went to sit down.

When he sat down he saw a familiar face next to him one he knew quite well. It was Kagari! Noroi considered him a friend, and a teammate, given that the weren't offically put into a squad yet, and that they both got the asses kicked by the scary white haired teacher, amagi sensei. But he smiled nevertheless at his friend.

"H-hello k-k-Kagari" he said happily, and hoped that kagari or the teacher didn't notice the subtle scuffles and movement coming from his backpack.
