The streets of Maruishi were bustling. It hadn't been but some days since Iwagakure and Maruishi agreed to let in the flood of refuges from the other nations into our cities. It was leading to an economic boom, of course. Merchants rose their prices to steal each Yen these people might have had. Inns and markets found themselves filled with foreigners fighting even for the chance to taste a highland daisy, something the cries acclaimed to be one of the best plants in all of Earth country. How stupid of them. None of that was any concern of Keita's.
All of these people knew not of the Fayth. The Jun wasn't going to be the eccentric priest who preached from a corner. No, he could do that at the Temple. He knew not why he was here. He hadn't taken so much as a step into the city in years. It was filled with bad memories. Old memories. The ones that one dreamed about their entire life and woke up in cold sweats about. The kind of memories that one focuses and acts their entire life upon. They lead Keita to becoming the first military Shaman leader, so it wasn't completely bad. But now wasn't a time about war. It was a time for peace.
Perhaps one of these foreigners might be the one to bring the Calm to the world.
