Normally Uri did his missions because they were his duty, to go about his work and while doing so snacking on a treat most fruity. This particular mission was different, happiness a feeling from Uri most distant!
A dastardly man sought to steal joy from Suna, but poisoning the chocolate of the fair village
Such crimes were right up there with those who rape, maim, kill, and pillage!
A Grench, someone who couldn't smile, looking to punish those of the season
Investigating the scene, Uri was having trouble finding a reason
For the motives that would cause many to fall ill
It was when searching in the remains of the many destroyed candies that he found a clue to fit the bill
Long green hair, curly and most frightful matched the visage of a certain person
Someone who Uri had heard tales of, and laid upon him an awful burden
To seek out this terrible figure and bring him to justice
So that there may be chocolate for a very merry christmas!
As the chuunin began to hunt, he stopped and thought to himself,
"Something seems to be wrong in and of itself!"<i></i>
Not too long after did the realization come, was it obvious the happy lines were a trap
To force the ninja into parts of a world, to sing, rhyme, and perform something akin to a rap
Moving much faster now, he amped up his search for his target
There! In a darkened alley, a flash of green and scarlet!
Giving pursuit, Uri moved swiftly after the shadow
After much chasing, he came upon a barrow
Outside rested a canine, most deflated
There was no bark, nor bite, nor hunger unsated
The creature was docile and only wanted attention
However, Uri looked into the depths of the portal with much tension
Inside awaited his adversary, the one who wished death upon many
A being of mythos and lore, one who would sunder fun and tear through events most festive finding them a bore
And there he was, a fearsome grin most yellow, green hair, and with a hefty bellow
He charged at the chuunin, jagged edge in hand
Looking to free Uri's soul from this physical land
They fought and scuffled and went at it for some time
But before Uri knew it, his world stopped working in rhyme.
Before him on the cave floor was the green-haired culprit, tied up in a sticky mess of spun sugar and ninja wire. There were somethings in the world one didn't attack and chocolate was one of them. Using a grouping of clay clones to carry the culprit to the Obsidian Palace, he gave clear-cut instructions that this person was to be locked up for as long as he could live and that he be fed sugary sweets for the whole duration. Whatever spell that had been cast upon the chuunin had broken once entering into combat with the Grench of a man. The experience had been an interesting one, and if Uri knew anything, that it wasn't by chance that it happened.
Strange things have been going on in Suna and he wanted to find the connection between it all.
