Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

At this point she didn't really care anymore. The young girl just went with missions like it was a normal part of her daily routine. Soon enough when (not if) she graduates from the Academy, this will be the staple of her days.

Satsuki did the routine, from the Academy she would make her way to the Embassy and to what she calls the 'student line' where the old, annoying, but nice lady awaited her every time she was needed for a task, and this time was no different. She got the usual cute remarks from the lady, nearly being pinched on her soft cheeks due to this 'cuteness' and a request from a citizen. This time it was a family with a frog problem. Apparently their koi pond which they neatly maintains has been a target cooling spot for some dozen toads recently. The young girl's task was to extract the warty amphibians and relocate (not kill) them to the river near the farmlands. Great, toads, the girl thought to herself. She wasn't as squirmy as the other girls her age but she wasn't fond of them either. Hearing the old wives tales that you can get warts from touching toads and such kind of bothered her.

She was given a plastic Tupperware-like case where she would house the frogs while she captured them, it will also serve as her carrying case while she transport them. Together with the plastic case was a big net and a pair of rubber gloves to the girl's delight. Now she doesn't have to catch these things bare-handed. Satsuki made her way towards the family's residence, hopeful she could finish up early so she could help out her grandmother with the afternoon chores. The old woman wasn't feeling good the past few days because of the humid weather. It would take her an hour to get to the place and when she arrived, the small little boy, the son of the family was waiting for her. He was about her age, if not younger.

"Are you Kanzaki-san? Mother and father told me to wait for you out here." said the boy.
Satsuki nodded to the question, putting down her things to get a brief breather.
"So, tell me what happened here?" the girl asked.
"Well, father is a fish enthusiast since he was my age, he told me. He has been saving up to build our pond and to get real good fish." explained the boy. "..last year he finished the pond and got really cool-looking fish. We've been taking good care of it ever since, but these past week lots of ugly frogs came and started to hang out in our pond." he added. The boy gestured for Satsuki to follow him inside the premises. The boy led her to their backyard where the pond was situated. Both the boys' parents were there. The girl decided to formally introduce herself.

"Good morning, I'm Kanzaki. I was ordered by the Embassy to help you with your pond problem."
Both parents stared at her. The same stare she's been getting all throughout her life after the incident. The parents broke the annoying stares, replaced with relief which she found odd.
"Thank you for coming Kanzaki-san. I wasn't aware you've enrolled at the ninja academy until they told us they were sending you for the job. I'm Sando, and this is my wife Hina, and our son, Kota. I knew your father, well, I was kind of one of the regulars in your old diner. You seem to have grown into a fine young lass." said the man named Sando. It was odd for people who knew her family to say up front they knew them personally.
"Well, that's nice sir. But I'm here in behalf of the Embassy. I'm sorry, but I don't intend to talk about my family as you obviously are aware of what happened." Replied the girl, a bit snarky and snarly at the same time. She was being defensive. This topic was usually off-limits especially to strangers.
"I understand. Anyway, we need you to clear out the toads and frogs in our pond. I've worked hard to build it and get good quality koi. Kota will help you with the work. The pond is about four feet deep in one half and three feet on the other. I reckon it won't be a problem for you?" explained Sando. Satsuki nodded, signaling for the boy Kota to help her with her stuff.

It would only take Satsuki and Kota to clear out the couple dozen amphibians from the pond. Two hours after lunch to be exact. It wasn't hard, wet yes, but hard, just the constant bumping and soft biting of the HUGE koi that lived in the pond. The man didn't mention he had giant koi almost as long as the girl. This terrified her for a while, but for a while you'll get used to smacking them on the head for them to stop bothering you. After that the normal routine, hardcopy signed, stamped, delivered, and filed. Now she can help out her grandma. But not before going to the pharmacy to buy medicine first.
