Repetition! The key to success, or so says mother. Failure is just a step towards success, and only constant effort and determination would see improvement! Aiko told herself this repeatedly as she continually chiseled away at the features of her bunraku puppet. Hey eyes narrowed, the young girl inspecting every inch of her craft to make sure not a spot was missed. Her dolls would be the most beautiful in this parlor one day, that's what drove her. While other children played around, Aiko was afforded no such luxury! Chisel, hammer, saw, her energy was unbound! To this end, the pale child wiped some sweat from her brow, breathing heavily as she looked down at her creation. To say it was perfect would be too kind, in fact, it would be a lie! This thing was ugly, a disgrace, a worthless addiction to the legacy of the Yuki's! But Aiko didn't really care for that in the moment. Perhaps years later in her life she may look back and sigh at her pathetic attempts, for now she was energized! This puppet was amateur at best, but to her, it was her best work yet! Sure it may barely function when weaving threads of chakra through it's form, but none the less it stood on it's own legs and showed promise. Satisfied with her progress for the day, Aiko clapped her hands together. Important business was at hand now that her mother mandated doll practice was finished, playing with the dolls!
