Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Haku Yuki sat in the audience chamber, it was a rarely used room and it had never been used by her in any official capacity at least. She sat in silence, her eyes closed as she felt the cool chill of winter play on the breeze the danced around her, her figure was draped in an elegant kimono the light blue fabric covered in delicate embroidery of sliver and white that glistened in the morning sunlight, her hair was down its full length covering her shoulders and running down the length of her back.

The room that she sat in was as wide as it was long the soft due to the padded Tami matts that soften the footfall of any in the room. Running down the lengths of the room on both sides where tall ebony black pillars accented with golden details running along the height of each of them, beyond them the left side consisted of paper screen the led out to a small garden area still dusted in the last snowfall of the winter. The female sat on a slightly elevated section on the room that put her slightly higher then all others that would sit before her, flanking the crimson headed female was tall scrolling that hung from the ceiling emblazed with the Uchiha insignia. It was an imposing space, she knew this, it was the key factor in choosing it, she wanted the man that she summoned who was in charge here, that he was playing in her arena now and she made the rules.

It had been earlier in the day that Yuki had sent of the running to Tamashi quarters with a hand written note requesting his presence, she had done this in secret Takeshi wasn’t to know of the meeting and neither was anyone else a fact that had been made all the more clear by sending the only maid of the household that she trusted to delivery to him, the sepia envelope bore the mark of the Uchiha on the red wax the held the it closed. On the paper inside was the note that she had penned in her own hand finally putting to use the calligraphy lesson that the house retainer had insisted that she take upon her engagement to Takeshi to good use.
Tamashi,

I extended my hospitality and would be honoured if you were to meet with me at the Uchiha Clan house. I humbly ask that you please keep this meeting under the up most digression and please arrive at the upmost urgency.

Kind Regards

Haku Yuki

Tama, seemingly resting from his self inflicted wounds of anguish, would find his helper checking his mail for him as requested. He was awaiting to hear from someone, specifically Umashi or Yomi, but neither of them had contacted him just yet... then again maybe he would need to be the one to take that initiative. Who knew... but surprisingly he would have a letter written to him by Haku Yuki. The Beautiful wife of The Next Hokage. She was a strong individual, and maybe this had something to do with Takeshi? Maybe she had something to tell him in the regards to him being the right hand to the Hokage... being the name that would come up when it came to specific Hokage duties and being the man that handled alot of the personal Public Relations and Appeal of the Hokage. Though, Tama laid low for now, trying to figure out how he would contact Akumi... but this was interesting.

So with the strength he had he would find that he could make it to this personable meeting with Yuki, he would oblige as he could never turn down the Wife of the Hokage, Takeshi was a good friend of his and he would owe her the same respects being a highly intelligent woman, and the newly made first woman of the village. So without his helper, he would slowly make his way to the estate, and through the brush he would arrive into the lush area, beautifully architechture, made with the love and strength that showed the devotion of the clan to its head.

'This is wonderful...', Tama would think looking through the eyes of a man who had seen his own death, made everything just a bit more beautiful in his eyes. Life itself was more wonderful... but he was still serving it alone, but he had purpose enough to keep him going. So he wouldnt be taken back from anything that would bother him. Couples no longer hurt him when he saw them... he just wished them well. Destiny led this man to be alone... the black widow of Leaf... and how quaint he was the holder of the spider contract.

Knocking on the door, Tamashii would be daunted in his Black and red suit, with a white tie and a cane that helped him get along... and how he would await the answer of the Crimson haired Maiden...

The female heard the commotion of retainers and maid rush around beyond the screen that linked the main corridor to the Audience Chamber it didn’t take long before the before the sound of the screen door sliding open to catch the Haku ear causing her to open her eyes and turn her head to the origin of the sound. Standing in the open doorway was the Head Retainer, it was a gnarled old man with constant look is disgust painted on his face, she never did like him much in her option he held himself in too higher of a regard. He smiled at her twisting his already wrinkles face and cleared his throat.
“My Lady, there is a guest at the gates for you. Apparently, you have invited him which couldn’t have been the case, or I would have known of it. I shall send him away” Yuki narrowed her eyes as he spoke.
“I have invited him, so you shall not send him away,” Yuki stood up and walked passed the male her kimono hiding her feet making it look like she was floating rather then walking, she stopped as she passed him “Never assume to know my business again, while Takeshi is away from this household I am in charge, prey I do not have to remind you of the that again.” The female’s emerald eyes pierced through the ageing man she spoke.
“Of course my Lady, I am so sorry,” He ran behind her speaking, his voice quivered as he followed quickly behind her, she waved her had at him he took this as a sigh to make his presence non-existent and disappeared down the corridor in the opposite direction.

Yuki reached the main door of the household looking at the thick oaken barrier between her and the outside world she too a breath before opening it seeing the man that he had summoned standing in the threshold. She allowed herself a few minutes to take him in before addressing him. He was dressed in an impeccable black and red suit which was perfectly tailored for him, she noticed his body weight seemed to be resting on a cane, it was clear that it wasn’t just for show. The Haku couldn’t put her finger on why but Tamashii seemed to give off this air of sadness and loss, he looked almost tragic and despite what expression had carried on his face his eyes seemed life weary.
“Tamashii, I am so glad that you accepted my invitation,” The female greeted the man with a warm smile, “Please come in.” She stepped to one side allowing the man entrance to Uchiha mansion.

It didnt take long for her to arrive but Tama did hear rumblings from within. Even some weird faces, 'Am I supposed to be here?', Tamashii was a very meticulous person. Hence his spiders, and their webbings but he didnt let them out so much these days... they were around the village collecting detailed data. Here however, Tamashii was ready to begin this little meeting. Quickly he felt the ideas that might come from this meeting, but before he could calculate anything he would be met by a crimson haired beauty. Yuki was her name. And she wasnt a woman to be reckoned with so with a short bow clenching his cane in one hand tightly, "Thank you for inviting me to you home. It is an honor.", nodding Tamashii would slowly begin to enter into the home before he would pull out a small box.

"Special Rings I had made for you and Takeshi being the leaders of the Uchiha clan and soon to be the Leaders of this great nation..", the rings were purely silver with shaved ruby and obsidian to give it a glimmer as the silver would be fashioned back into the face of the ring to form the Tomoe of the Uchiha Sharingan. Tamashii felt it was customary to bring gifts to the homes of friends and loved ones on the first occasion they were invited to a home. He followed this for nearly everyone he respected... also the rings were simple. If they were scanned carefully nothing would be found... and they were not rigged in any way. Simple and genuine gifts from a recovering man. "I do hope you like the rings.", nodding once more he would look around. This was something that he would wonder about... Was this a clan that handled things on their own? Or did they hand down things from on high? Were they 'established'? Or were they humbled? Who knew... Time changed many things, maybe it changed with Takeshi at the helm of the clan.

"So, To what do I owe this gracious meeting of minds?", Tamashii would do well not to give Yuki 'the look' he gave many women. He respected Takeshi, and feared Yuki in a way. There was something about her, that told him not to try anything... she was loyal, and maybe that was something that couldnt be preyed upon by Tamashii... he wouldnt push either. As beautiful as this woman was... he respected the marriage and foundation of these two. Not that he wanted Yuki for his anyways, but there was a strong case against Tamashii in that regard.

The female smile warmly was Tamashii made his way into the main hall of the household she bowed in respect as he passed her before she walked by his side into the larger greeting area.
“Trust me the honour is all mind, it’s rare that I have such esteemed guest and I apologize for the rudeness for the staff, the same times have idea above there stations,” she looked at the elderly made as she spoke who was trying his best to hide it a shadowy part of the entrance halls, making himself look as small possible. She turned back to Tamashii the cold expression that had painted her face mere moments ago melted away back into a warm smile, as she did she witness as the man produce a small wooden box, she gently took the it from the man’s hand and opened it to reveal its contents, inside on a bed of plush velvet was gleaming silver rings, on each of the faces the symbol of the Tomoe was expertly crafted out of the blackest obsidian and fiery ruby. Reaching out her hand she directly picked up one of the rings to study its fine craftsmanship further and listened to the reason behind the gift. The Haku looked at the male her face was one of genuine gratitude. “How would anyone not like such a fine gift, thank you Tamashii I will treasure it.” She took the ring that was in her hand and placed it on her finger before tucking the box into her kimono. “All in good time Tamashii, come I will have some tea brought through,” Yuki entwined her arm with his taking some of his weight to help him walk.

Yuki would lead the male through the house’s maze-like corridors till they reached the atrium, the space was a large squire, the black ebony flooring running the circumference of the space, the centre of the room was open to the elements small shrubs where little over the white sand standing pride of place was a small maple tree its bright crimson leaf stood in bright contrast the old blacks and whites that otherwise filled the atrium. The morning sunlight of the virgining spring bathed the space in an almost orange hue, it was here that Yuki would let go of Tamashii arm and walked to one of the screens that branched off from the garden, she stood to one side allowing the male to enter first, inside was a reasonable size room, the walls were not ornately decorated like before, in the middle of the room was a small table with two chairs. The Hake took a seat and signalled for her guest to join her.
“Take a seat,” She looked across the table and waiting for him to take a seat before she would begin the business that she had called him here for.

Nodding and bowing his head Tamashii would slowly make his way with Yuki through the house as he'd listen to her speak it seemed like the words she spoke were something to make a mane really understand how the hierarchy in villages worked. He was apart of the Yukata clan of Iwagakure but he was never apart the most prominent parts of that clan. So he didnt know anything about the politics of the clan inner workings. Though after he gave her the rings he would nod and give her one of the first genuine smiles he'd given anyone in a long while.

"It was a pleasure to do this for you and Takeshi, he was one of the reasons why I was able to pick myself back up and continue on. Your relationship with him gives me hope for the village.", nodding he would follow behind her making sure to keep his eyes up, as any man would look at this woman with the fiery hair and would be dazzled in her beauty... the gentle curves of her body and many other things that he noticed just from his glimspes of her. He understood why Takeshi wanted her... as many men in the village likely did.

Taking his seat as she asked he would look around... The layout of this place was astounding, the architecture was clad and near perfect. Though to one with a Sharingan eye they would notice the imperfections, a trained eye would still have trouble, and Takeshi's eye for the layout of this place must've come into play... but, maybe not, Yuki seemed like a woman that knew what she wanted. Maybe... Just maybe this was more her doing than him. "So, Why have I been called on this most private of engagements?", Tamashii would find himself looking into her with a worried eye. Maybe this was going to be bad? Who knew...

The Haku watched the man as he took a seat at the table, she couldn’t help but notice the look of worry that had painted his expression. She couldn’t really blame the male after all he was summon her by her with no explanation of what she wanted, she was not only the wife of the Hokage but she was also a Captain of the ANBU all titles that would have added weight to this meeting. She found herself smile a little.
“Tamashii, I have asked you here because of the position that you now hold at Takeshi side, you are his advisor a position that gives you a great amount of influence in his decision making. While you have given me no reason so far not to trust you however I am sure that you understand my.,” She paused trying to place the right word, “Concerns. I know next to nothing about you other then you in a official compacity, I know your rank and a little of your history but outside of that you are a enigma to me.” Yuki placed her arm on the table and rested her chin on the back of her palm. “I want to know you, not the Tamashii that you portray after all we all wear masks. This village is full of vipers, I just want to ensure the safety of the one person most dear to me”

Yuki eyes narrowed a little knowing that what she had asked of him wasn’t an easy task, secrets where not easily given up, people guarded them like treasures. The Haku knew this better than most her secrets ran deep, which is why she was willing to impart them on the male before her if it meant she knew that Takeshi was going to be safe.
“In return, I will give you any information about me that you want to know I will be completely transparent with you. I want us to have a relationship that is built on trust and loyalty,” The red head lent back in her seat and watched the male, waiting and studying him for a response.

Nodding to Yuki he would find that she had a point in her concern. She was definitively alert to the ploys of some mice and men. However, Tamashii walked and paved a different path for himself and those that followed him. "Well, That is a hefty thing to ask a man who used to live the life of the ANBU Sennin in Iwagakure and even here before Takeshi came and took the position.", coughing a bit he'd think about what she was asking of him. To know him like a friend that had been around for ages. Decades even. And now it was surmised to think that she would want anything less than the absolute truth from him.

"Well, where do I start... I'm a man that just a few months back tried to kill himself. I suffer from depression especially after my love was taken from me. I am a member of the Yukata clan, a clan that is only known in Iwagakure for being a stepping stone that was simply there at the wake of the village itself.", nodding he would huff out, there was alot to tell, "I'm a man thats lonely. I hurt. I feel so much pain that now I've genuinely become numb to a good bit of it. However, I am also the man thats swallowed every ounce of pride in him to walk side by side a man who I didnt like in Umashi. So... There is that.", nodding he would lean back a bit.

Obviously he was trying to convey that he was being upfront, but he didnt know exactly everything in this moment, "Anything else you'd learn about me would be something learned while just being around me.", nodding he'd wonder how exactly to respond... everything he'd said was truthful thus far. Though... he didnt mention Jashin... or the sacrifice of those children he'd done in his youth... and that was something he didnt want to look back on... Even with his sister. He didnt like thinking about it.

Yuki felt the sorrow and pain in his words, Tamashii’s tragedy ran deep he was truly a wounded man. He had been broken down and had everything stripped from him, the shinobi in front of her was a husk of what he once was, yet the female could sense something in him, a strength that she couldn’t name. Even after all that had happened to him, here he was sitting in front of her that showed more strength that countless victories couldn’t match. The Haku could feel a signal tear fall down her cheek she wasn’t internally aware of it until the dripped from her chin to the back of her hand, she reached for his hand placing hers on his, she could feel the warmth of his skin against her own. She could spend hours searching for words to express her sympathy for his situation, but she hoped that this single gesture would be enough.
“Thank you Tamashii. That mustn’t have been easy,” She left her hand their lingering for a few moments before retracting it, placing it back on the table in front of her.

Closing her eyes Yuki took a deep breath and leaned back in her chair, she tried to string together in her head what it was that she wanted to tell them man.
“I am not what you see in front of you Tamashii,” She opened her eyes as she spoke. “There is something inside me that is a constant threat to all around me, sometimes I think that I have control but others time it feels like the hold I have on it is so thin that it could break free at any moment and it terrifies me.” Her hands fidgeted on the desk, her elegant fingers toying with the sleeve of her Kimono nervously. “I was abandon my parents when I was a baby, they left me a note claiming that it was for my own good. Yet the thing that they were trying to protect me from found me and now I have to live with this demon living within me.” She paused she hadn’t looked at the man’s face since she started talking, “I went looking for it Tamashii, their sacrifice was wasted due to my pride. And now I have to bring a life into this world and I don’t know if it will let me,” Yuki looked at the man, her eyes watering as she fought back against her emotions.

He didnt know how to feel after speaking his heart as he had done... he missed Hakuren. He loved her. However, he didnt think any of it right now. He just wanted to get things situated in his mind before continuing... but Yuki would begin, sympathizing with him but then opening up to him in a manner he was not ready for. 'So its true... She is stronger than she lets off... I knew she was smart... but the power that she might have lurking within... It may overlap my Pyrokinesis.', thinking to himself for the moment though he felt for her, so he would speak up on the matter, "I think you are in good hands... You've done a good job thus far holding back your urges. I would never have guessed... but now I know if something happens with you I can potentially help you lock it away until you wanna use it... Maybe. Itts tricky.", nodding again he wanted to help her as she was helping him in this moment.

"Your parents were wrong to have done that to you... some shinobi parents make no sense to me.", there were so many that put their children through these harsh situations, instead of cultivating the beast within or the chakra and using it as a force for good, they leave these children with no choice but to turn to darkness to find a sense of family. A Family amongst the misfits and thrown out trash... It was pitiful to think such a thing was happening all over the globe... but thinking about what she was saying a bit deeper. Maybe they were trying to do the right thing? Attempting to keep her away from this demon... but in the end it failed.

"Well no worries. Tamashii will be here to help as well as Takeshi... I think we'll be able to keep the demon at bay... Maybe long enough for you to have a safe birth... I'll have to learn more about certain seals and such... but maybe we can do it at minimal risk?", Tamashii would openly begin thinking about ways to help her... fumbling with his words a bit, but he managed to get out a few coherent ideas. "Yeah I think we'll be able to truly help...", nodding again not thinking that Takeshi didnt know how to help... but one more thought crossed his mind. Why didnt Takeshi already handle this? Or attempt to? Did Takeshi even know?
