Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The moon was up, lonely in the night's sky it enveloped the landscape in a cold and dim light, a pale blue hue seemed to emanate from it. Making everything seem like it was under water. The wind was cool and chilling to the very bone. His hands would be shivering if he wasn't wearing gloves, scarf and thick winter attire. There was light snow falling making small sparkles as the snow flakes twirled as they fell from the dark skies above.

Keiji was taking a night stroll by the gates, as he so often did after his previously received letter. He waited and hoped that the animal appeared again. Maybe it annoyed him that he hadn't received another letter for over a week, or maybe he was just excited to hear from the strange woman again.. He kept pondering what her reply would turn out to be after what she had said in the previous letter, grievances might be an appropriate response.

Did she die?
Was she unsuccessful?
Was what he said too much?
Is it right of him to even expect a reply?

Bah, he shook his head to get rid of the worry. A small bark came from below his knees as Hitomi seemed to react to something. "Something's approaching.. His eyes peaked ahead into the distance, his byakugan activated quickly, he stared forward, hoping to spot whatever was amiss.

The fuzz covered creature was better off with this little make shift carrier that Haruka had given him. After all, it made it much easier to run around and far easier to escape from any kind of predator that might have wanted to bring him harm. It was for the very best. It was a familiar area that he would crawl and scower along, bounding and leaping from rock to rock to get to his destination. How long had it been since he had set off? Damnit, he knew he shouldn't have laid down to take that nap! But it was just so good. So, so good~. A familiar scent would cross the creature's nose, and he would follow it. As if the scent could've been forgotten. After all, the last message that had been sent had been creeping and crawling with it.

Bounding forward, the strange little creature would simply just crash right into Keiji's legs before stopping and sitting, staring up at the man with the same demanding eyes.

So, what contract would be signed today? :D

Letters are Fun! said:
Suzaku Keiji,

Well, let me just be the one to first confirm your rumors and whatever else has been floating around the world. We are working diligently towards a conclusion to this dark period of time within the village, but like everything, it takes time. When my mission is complete, I will be sure to take a few weeks to visit and establish a better relationship with Cloud going forth. The person that we will have take over will be competent and will have to go through an extensive screening before we make any moves. I will not allow my great nation to make any more mistakes than what we have. You have my word.

As for what I'm wearing right now. . . It's just a normal white sundress. I'm a normal person besides any so called purging that I may lead. My hobbies include knitting, tarot cards, and other odds and ends. Perhaps I'll knit you a scarf or a hat. The cold season is coming up, I believe. Does it get really cold there in Kumogakure? I've never been there personally, so I wouldn't know. Naturally, I do like long walks as I have traveled all of my life in an extensive effort to train myself and to get to know the people of the land. It's a lot of fun! The volcanoes here in the Earthen Country are kind of scary, though.

I am seeing someone. If you want more details on that, you can come meet me here in Stone and we can go over all of the gorey details about that. I can't risk putting it down in a letter to put them in any kind of danger. I do have siblings: An older brother, a younger sister, and a younger brother. I cherish them greatly. . . I think that's part of the reason why I'm so intent on keeping this village an amazing place and not hindering anything extensively. I am Twenty-two years old. I'll be turning Twenty-Three in a a few months.

I'll come to Kumogakure when all of the internal issues of my village have passed. I hope for it to not take too long, but. . . We will see. Tell me what you want me to knit for you, and I'll make it. I can make practically anything with these hands, so don't be shy! It's free of charge and I'll be sure to use the best of yarn that I can. Also, let me know if you have any crazy allergies to fabric or something along those lines. I do not want to give you an allergic reaction or anything like that-- Haha. I think I'm rambling now.

You can answer the same questions that you asked me! I'd love to know more.

Warmest Regards,
Kono Haruka

He removed his gloves from his hands and gently took out the letter from the harness of the creature and began to read it. His eyes shifting from sentence to sentence.
When he had finished reading he pulled out a piece of paper and a small pen from his shoulder bag, he had readied it compared to the last time.
HE cleared snow from the top of big black walls making a small place where he could write to his heart's content. He took his time to finish it, letting small snow flakes land to make out a beautiful pattern on the bottom right corner of the paper. A little wet when dried, but perhaps the pattern would be more visible then, he thought to himself as he curled the letter together and placed it into the harness of the creature, still sitting and awaiting him.

Give her a kiss from me, will ya? he said with a grin out loud to the strange creature, which was probably just eager to head off again.
I am pleased to hear this, peace everlasting between Shinobi is most certainly the desire of all good people.
I ask you a favor before I progress on the details of the letter. Once your objectives are complete, or they perchance fail? Is there any way that you may find a way to send a message? A warning? Anything to signal that things did not go as you had intended? A small gesture, no words would be needed.
Perhaps simply sending me the finished or failed result of your most recent knitting?

You sound like a lovely mature woman. Your words bring much warmth to my heart.
I would have to meet this mr. Kono individual some day. However I doubt that time may ever come, unless fate wills it the other way.

Now, on to the questions, yes, well I am wearing a warm, thick furred coat and thick leather gloves, all white to keep me safely hidden on top of the walls. My dreadlocks keeps catching small snowflakes though, and it's a pain to keep them dry once I return home. A nice thick hat might do the trick for me.
My only hobbies are reading research books from mine and the other facilities and divisions that have our funding. I find reading them invigorating and inspiring. It's a wondrous thing what a scientific community is able to accomplish what results can come out of the simplest solutions.
I like running more than walking, personally. It keeps the temper going and it keeps your muscles trained and well polished. There is nothing like a good afternoon run, especially in the cold winter when the snow covers half of your torso.
There is no ms. Suzaku. I have no brothe,. not anymore, my parents are gone as well, died when I was thirteen.
I live in Kumogakure, I would like to visit other countries in an attempt to learn more of our world, but alas I find myself bound to the Lightning Country and it's problems. Many things are happening here and I need to be there to protect it. Just as you must make things right in Iwagakure. So must I ensure the same steps are avoided in Kumogakure.

If you will it, I would like to know, whom would you say has meant most for you in your upbringing?

Coldest and hands shivering in the cold regards,
Suzaku Keiji
Medical Nin Chief (in name only) of Kumogakure
Harvester Division

After he had delivered the letter and seen the creature run off, he would walk further down the wall casually with the received letter hidden under his coat, rolled together.

Ah, ah. Another letter another day. It seemed that this was to become some kind of trend! Sitting and waiting, the flakes of snow would descend down upon the small animals head, leaving him to shake the white fur free of the flakes. At least he seemed to be writing something sort of fast? It was for the best. It was really, really cold out here in the Village sitting on the Clouds. Was it seriously winter time already? At his command, the animal would swish it's tail a little bit faster. What a strange one this guy was... Why would he kiss a demon? It was not very kosher now, was it? Ah well. The creature would now stand on all fours, he would turn tail and then dash off into the horizon. It was time to deliver yet another letter.

Yay!

Keiji the man who had of late been the "Acting" head of the Harvesters. Yuuto had peeped game once seeing the man observing his class trying to be the watchful eye. However he wasn't watchful enough. It was safe to assume that sooner or later their paths would meet especially when he got down to the bottom of Fuu's operation. He had been at the gates, doing something it seemed. Not unlikely that a Gate Guard/Anbu/Potential Gate Captain would be curious to see what he'd be doing here. It was then that the true watchful eyes caught view of something small scurrying away from him. This should be interesting the Anbu said in his mind. He was enticed, willed you could say by the thought of knowing whatever it was this creature did. Anymore knowledge on the Harvesters and their activity he could gain would be more than enough.

Taking hastened steps he'd carefully cloak himself with the Shadow Garb Ninjutsu, something that gave off the vibe of true evil (whatever that tasted like). He appeared to be a menacing specter now, cloaked in darkness feeling more at home than ever. There'd be a sudden moment of change, and his body would begin to speed up as though he'd been touched by Fuujin's grace. Much like the wind it wouldn't take long for his breeze to catch the creature that was running. Hand seals would blur off as he willed the ground to contort and create ten dirt like imps. These little creatures were screeching, excited with the scent of the "hunt". Yuuto himself smiled as four of them attempted to grab the creature. However no matter what, the true stopping point would be the "Ring of Fire". The creature surely would be hindered.

The dark figure (Yuuto in his swag cowl) would dart past it snatching the harness right off. He'd immediately head for the hills as he had nothing better to do than make way to read whatever it was Keiji was sending off. If for some reason he was caught he'd simply say the creature looked curious scurrying away and he didn't know anyone of importance had sent the letter. As soon as he read it, he would have sent a bird with the proper destination, assuming the letter actually had one written on it. If not, well guess this person wouldn't be getting a letter this time. However unlike the other times, why would Yuuto risk using chakra? If this acting medical division head wished he could likely use his Byakugan to follow, and while the identity of the Anbu might have been obscured he'd see the darkness from the Shadow Garb. The evil presence that the jutsu had, maybe he'd even look like a demon to Keiji. Who was to know, if things would even take that route for things. Only time would tell to see what would truly happen.

Due to the fact that messenger NPCs must follow travel rules, the messenger npc cannot leave the country in this thread, only the thread itself. As you cannot enter a thread once its over, your presence here is voided.

The messenger NPC must make a new thread with the proper tags in order to exit the country, at which point it may be stopped.

[That's some more bull cooked up to stop me. That's cool though I see how it is ;) I'm sure you dug up this rule for this thread, but didn't check on any others and work your admin magic in those ]
