I'll write some base information here for you all to read through in both preparation, and so you're all informed on what's gonna happen when we update.
We're gonna update?! What?!
If you still don't know anything about any updates, please read the following announcements:</I>

First off, I'll be locking down the forum to all non-administrators on the 30th of June.
the time for now, looks to be about 9AM UTC+2 (Where Central Standard Time is UTC+6)
Which basically means, it'll be about 3 AM in the US.
Now From that point on, I'll begin the updating process. And I hope it won't last longer, but so far I've set it to take at minimum 12 hours.
What Style/theme?
But before all that, I wish to note some important differences.
As we all know, the styles that NC uses, are widely different, and sometimes they can be very difficult to update and change if need be. Depending on the bbcodes and extensions we have installed.
That's why when we update. We'll be installing one theme. And one theme only.
This theme is pretty beautiful, and highly (and easily) customizable. And as a unique feature it has what's called "child themes"
Now, Child Themes are awesome. They enable us to have different versions, of the same style, different colors and possibly also design differences.
This makes it so, if for example, you don't care about the sidebar, we might make a version that doesn't have the sidebar.
(We'll try to accommodate people's wishes, but I cannot make any promises yet)
If we generally update the main style with an extension or a button or BBCode, it works the exact way all across the child styles.
Shop mod, Items, and shelved items?
And thirdly.
When we update. We're unfortunately not going to have the Shop mod anymore.
Why's that? - Well, the developer of the shop mod, is the same guy that made the point mod. He's finished (and is updating) the point extension for 3.1 But he has yet to finish the Point Shop Extension.
He might have it finished sooner or later. But so far it is not yet completed.
But what's important to note here is. - We lose the Inventory as well.
So, if you have all of your jutsu listed there. Please make sure to copy and paste that list in your Profiles and Training (as you should normally do)
Make sure it's fully updated.
Now, we'll still have all of the logs, saying which jutsu you have bought, so we can always double check these lists. Just FYI. But it's a long and frustrating process. So please do both yourself and your councillors and Admin the favor of making sure it's all up to date.

You'll get to keep your points, just as they are. It's a bit of a tricky solution we found, but we did find a solution. And it works. So that's definitely good.
Shop replacement?
A shop replacement has already been made, and will be made public once we're done with the update.
The shop replacement is literally just a thread with all jutsus linked, and with a price right next to it.
And also a Google Spreadsheet which is accessible to all and can be copied over in training threads or the like, for ease of access for all.
Banner contest?!
There were no applicants in the Banner Contest.

So far we'll utilize a banner which I made back when I first made the test sites.
So look forward to that. I promise that within the first few months we'll organise a new banner contest.
But once the update is finished, we'll be focusing fully utilising our extensions, and making sure everything is up to date.
