Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Note: I believe Journeyman is a free ability and therefore doesn't require an RP? I'll write one if I am wrong.
Defensive Technique said:
All throughout his training as a shinobi, Asuchi could be found sparring outside with his father. The ANBU taught him many useful things, but his main lesson was drilled into the boy's head at every opportunity. ”The key to winning battles, is to never get hit.” With this in mind, the boy quickly became adept and recognizing attacks and avoiding them. Once he unlocked his bloodline, the reality warping energies of the Seikon only furthered his ability to dodge incoming attacks with ease. At this point, it was almost effortless. He could avoid attacks without even thinking about it; it was all muscle memory. Even his father, an accomplished ANBU, struggled to land attacks at times. With such a focus on defense, however, his offensive prowess suffered. This was an acceptable compromise to Asuchi, he would rather neither his opponent nor himself be hit rather than take a blow.

Weapon Mastery - Unarmed said:
Asuchi disliked weapons. There were too unreliable. They could be disarmed, they could break, any number of unfortunate scenarios could unfold to render a weapon unavailable or useless. He preferred his own fists. Barring an unfortunate accident, he should always have his own hands available for use. They were also very precise. A weapon of any kind would never be as instinctual to you as your own body. So this was what he trained. Sacrificing familiarity with most other weapons, the shinobi became an expert with his own two hands. After long hours either in front of a punching bag, with his father, or with one of his own clones, he felt like he was more lethal than other shinobi could be with their preferred weapons.

Jutsu Mastery said:
One advantage of Asuchi's dislike of weapons was that his hands were always available for handseals. He used this to his advantage. Most free moments were spent learning and mastering different jutsu. He knew nearly 50 at this point which admittedly was only a small percentage of all the jutsu available to learn. However, it was also a respectable arsenal at his disposal, with many different techniques to call upon to vary his fighting style. After spending such time learning the intricacies of all those jutsu, Asuchi found he was able to use them more efficiently, tiring himself less with each jutsu.

Quick Reaction said:
Once Asuchi had mastered the art of avoiding attacks, it was a small transition to learn how to exploit his opponents during these moments. When someone attacks, they assume their attack is going to hit. When it doesn't, they overextend or are left off balance. It is then possible, assuming you are fast enough, to strike their weak points while they are unable to respond. Asuchi trained his reaction times until he was fast enough to do just this. He found it was much easier to land a hit whenever the opponent was caught off guard just after their own attack.

Healing Factor said:
As he grew and developed as a shinobi, most of Asuchi's battle tactics focused on avoiding damage and outlasting his opponent. The goal was to keep a calm, relaxed approach while the opponent tired himself out. This battle strategy had an interesting side effect if he were to take damage, however. His conservation of energy allowed him a small amount of rest and recuperation mid battle; as his opponent was wasting chakra, his body was actually repairing and renewing itself. The shinobi found that this came in handy quite a bit, allowing himself to persevere in battle for an even longer amount of time.

Hyperactive said:
As a Seikon, Asuchi has the ability to warp reality itself. One of the useful techniques Seikon can do is to forge a weapon of energy itself. Asuchi was not satisfied with this however, he saw other uses of the ability to generate and manipulate energy. After long hours experimenting, and one or two accidents that resulted in trips to the hospital, the ninja found himself able to passively recharge his own chakra using his Seikon's bloodline abilities. This was not a drastic amount, but it was significant. In a little over five minutes, his chakra could be fully recharged from basically nothing.

Human Anatomy said:
One of the most valuable pieces of knowledge a shinobi could possess is knowledge of their enemy. This is why so many intelligence missions are carried out before a weapon is ever raised. It's very inefficient to try to learn about every single person you could possibly face though. However, all shinobi have one thing in common, and that is they are all human beings. Asuchi then dedicated himself to studying anatomy, wanting to know how exactly he could inflict the most amount of harm with the least amount of effort. After devouring a few books and consulting with his mother, he felt confident of the location of every bone in the human body. More importantly, he felt confident in his ability to break them.

Bloody Mess said:
As part of his knowledge of anatomy, Asuchi learned all about the circulatory system. He knew the locations and weaknesses of the heart, the aorta, the femoral artery, and the jugular, among others. By perfectly placing his strikes, he could sever or pierce each of these reliably, massively increasing how much he could hurt an enemy. Asuchi did not particularly like harming someone in this way, but he was a shinobi, and this meant whenever he was in a fight, lives were usually at stake. And as much as he disliked blood getting on his coat, he would much rather be the one who walked away from the fight with their life.

Deflection said:
Asuchi got a special pleasure out of deflecting attacks during fights. Usually because it provoked a reaction from his opponent. It was especially entertaining to see the look on their face when they watch as you simply brush away an attack they've put all their strength into. Even better is when you manage to deflect the attack back at them. They stand there all smug, waiting for their strongest attack to decimate you. And you simply turn it around back at them. They aren't prepared, and usually have no choice but to brace for impact. It was the best form of attack, he felt. Using your opponents techniques against you simply tired them out more, and you out less. Why would you do anything else?

Technical Pacifist said:
Asuchi's previously stated dislike for weapons extended from his own to his opponents. Who in their right mind WOULD like a big-ass sword heading straight for their face? Exactly. So, it was only natural that he tried to level the playing field.

...Well, he could make a sword out of energy. They (chances are) couldn't. So maybe it wasn't exactly level, but you know what? Doesn't matter, he still didn't like facing down giant swords.

The best time to disarm the enemy, he found, was immediately after dodging. They were off balance, left themselves open, and with his bloodline abilities it was incredibly easy to just appear behind them and pluck their weapon right out of their hands. Like taking candy from a baby. Not that he knows what that's like, mind you. What do you think he is, some sort of evil bastard??
