Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Raiden and the Lightning Bird [Event]

Chiasa saw all of these amazing people moving around to take part in the event and she just felt small. Where was she ever going to leave her footprint in a realm full of giants? After a few short moments the place became a busy mess of excitement. For those people who did not have a partner, this included Chiasa, there was a calling out about the pairs and whom they would be placed with. Chiasa paused for a moment and placed a hand on her chin. “Santaru…Riku…” No use, the name did not ring a bell in the slightest.

She reached down to pick up her satchel of school supplies and brushed off her academy uniform to make sure it at least looked decent. She walked up to the man who had made an announcement and asked, “Excuse me…who is Santaru Riku?” The man looked around for a moment and pointed out the fifteen year old to her. “Thank you!” She bowed deeply and walked her way over to the man. While man might be a strong word considering he was no more than a teenager that was a huge amount of difference from little eleven year old Chiasa.

As she walked up he seemed to be getting himself pumped and ready. She already felt like she would only burden him. She took a deep breath and gave him the deepest bow she could. “Hello Santaru-san my name is Kaido Chiasa of the Kumogakure Academy. If I can assist you in anyway please let me know.” She was worried but at the same time she felt excited. This man looked like a professional to her though she knew very little about him. Hopefully he would not be too turned away by the fact he got paired with someone completely new.

"Kashino Yuu & Yagiyo Kin"

When his name was called out, he realized it was time to go, but not before meeting his partner for this search as he looked around for a person named "Yagiyo Kin". But due to the moving crowd and his small stature, he wasn't able to find him very easily. Because of this, he approached to a nearby guard and asked where is Yagiyo Kin, which he pointed him to a boy wearing a helmet. He then approached to the said boy as he evaded some other shinobi and asked, "Hey, are you Yagiyo Kin-kun?" It was a little direct in terms of his voice, but he really wanted to make a first impression to his partner. "I'm Kashino Yuu, a Genin. I hope we can get along for today."

If Yagiyo then said a few words to Yuu, he knew it was time to depart. "Well, we better get a move on before we get left out." Yuu said before he and Kin-kun left for their search of the legendary creature, just like Raiden did in the past.

Shin raised an eyebrow at the paring, he hadn't expected himself to be paired with the boy Ri, especially considering how they last time they had meet, it had end in a rather negative light. It had gotten better after a an incident with some would be attackers, but Shin didn't have the best memory of the boy. Might as well get this over with. Fixing his jacket, he began scanning the crowd for the Genin. Once he located him, he started walking over, moving pass the people in his way. Once he reached Ri he paused for a moment, thinking of what to say. This event had to potential to offer a power Contract, and the success depended on their ability to work with each other. Pissing off the person he was going to work with would just end up becoming more trouble then it was worth further down the line. That or he could just stun him and use him for bait.

No, can't do that. Pushing the hair out of his eye, he began speaking, attempting to go a logical route.

"It's been a while Ri. I'd rather we didn't start off on a poor note, so I apologizes if my previous actions insulted you in any way. That being said, I am ready to leave if you are."

Shin, eyes betrayed no insincere, whether he truly meant it or not, did not matter. Shin hardly knew the boy and unless, a friendship was born of the hunt, keeping the atmosphere positive was a secondary goal to locating the bird. After this hunt was done, they could go back to being irritated with each other.

Osu watched the street nervously as people were already leaving until Tama appeared in the distance. It was a relief to say the least, having already directed many apologies towards the gate guard on duty who was awkwardly trying to tell Osu it was perfectly fine and they had nothing to worry about. As Tama approached though, she didn't slow down. He began to call out to her, "Tama-San what are you doing?" Tama of course sped on by telling him to hurry up after tossing her sheet on the table much to the guard's annoyance. Osu apologized once more before making his way after Tama. "Tama-San! Please wait up for me! I can't run that fast!" This was already a very un-heroic start for Osu's adventure.

"Yes," Kin responded trying to keep his voice down. "Let's make our way to the mountains," he spoke rubbing his pack of food, unsure if it was too much, yet unworried about being lost with it. Yuu seemed to not recognize Kin from the noodle stand, but Kin recognized that blue hair and straight forward way of talking. He seemed too straight forward to be the kind of sneaky shinobi the academy taught him to look out for, which meant he might be one of the overly trusting souls that wouldn't realize he was being mislead. Time's hands reveal all options.

It was beginning to become irritating for the genin to have to wait for the match ups to finally be called. A large, loud crowd was never something he wanted to be around, the only time he would tolerate it being for some quality sake. But if he had the chance to become a little more powerful than before, then why not? When the man that made the announcements before spoke to the crowd once more, it went silent, and they watched him flipping the papers around in a big way. Ri thought he saw a couple papers fall out of the circle, but didn't really care enough to actually do anything about it. Then the match ups were finally announced. The name that was called along with Ri's seemed strangely familiar, and a little irritating for some reason. Was it the name itself? The fact that he couldn't remember the face that went with it? Was the person it belonged to someone who annoyed Ri in the past? Only time would tell, and it was quick to tell the ninja.

Shin, the man who he hadn't seen in... A long time, was the one he had been partnered with. The feelings and memories from the night they met immediately came back to him upon seeing that face, and they certainly weren't good ones. Of course, things weren't as bad as Ri was making them out to be, his current feelings, and the ones from that night were all one big over reaction on his part. He just didn't seem to get along with the guy was all, but it seemed he would have no choice but to get along now...

"I agree; it'd be a pain in the ass if we didn't leave it all behind us." Ri replied after Shin spoke, afterward, he pulled his hat down till the shade covered his face. This was in an attempt to hide the irritation on his face, it might just piss them both off until they can't be partners anymore. Ri would just need to suck it up now... He's already been through hell to unwillingly obtain some weird ass power, so how could this compare? Yeah, he just has to think positive, then he'll make it out without killing someone!

"Yep, I'm ready. Let's get moving." He said, then began walking soon after. Since the pass was already filled out, they were good to go without needing to much else. Besides trying to get through the crowd that is, there was no way to get around that without doing something that drew a lot of attention to themselves.

He and Junko had been paired up.

It was going to be Akira's first medical training session, he was looking forward to seeing what would happen, what the subtleties of the medical jutsu would be that challenged him.

Leaving the village he headed out with Junko, a large crowd leaving the village all at once, heading out to perform searches of their own. He wondered where it was that their search would take them.

Individuals was already beginning to make their exit. Walking through the crowds of people, Junko shook his head as he smoked on an herbal cigarette. Strangely, he could also taste wood. "These damn contacts are aggravating my eyes." Junko thought a bit frustrated. "Both pair of my eyes." Junko thought thinking of his path that showed up a bit late. Wearing a scarf, kimono, and wielding Two blades, Mundoo or Junko moved through the crowd while chewing on a toothpick.

He didn't want everyone to know he had the power of the rinnegan, so he hid them. Who would've known that contacts would be so aggravating. Moving along and neeting the giant, Junko nodded as they were paired up as planned. Skipping some of the small talk, the men began making their way out of the village and the country. Today, the old dog would learn some new tricks and hopefully gain a new companion. One the two men could cherish.
