Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Character's Physical Description:
deddorando_tsuriihangingu_by_hodhouse-d8sv1dl.png

Kubitsuki is an unfortunately small person, standing at 5 feet tall exactly. His hair is stained a light whitish-blue, but the little scrapings of facial hair on his face are slightly darker. Kubitsuki’s eyes are light amber colored. His left eye has a vertical scar embedded slightly into it, but otherwise his face is decent. Kubitsuki tends to wear a light greenish blue colored fluffy scarf for the cold temperatures of his home, plus a pure white coat with a crimson button. Underneath he wears a male kimono robe. He carries his main sealing scroll on his back, otherwise on his thighs each would be doubled up, resting there.

Character's Mental Description:Kubitsuki is a slightly unstable person, under the right pressures being able to crack like a twig. He is a shy man with a heart of steel, but a mind of shadow. He is scared half to death of suffocation and tight spaces, avoiding these spaces as best as he can. He loves to cook and create things, but even he admits he is not the best at either. He hates being angered, losing control, genjutsu, and awkward conversations. Under pressure he tends to remain silent, for he stutters and snarls subconsciously if he tries to speak between words. He tries to be respectful and honorable, but abandons his principles when lives are on the line.

Multiple Personality Application: Nope

Character History:(1173 words, Application for Hyuuga) Kubitsuki was born was born outside of any village, on a ship bringing resources to Port Cirrus. The child was born around rot and diseases, but by careful protection from his parents, he was safe from all but one plague, the Forsaken Curse. This curse went dormant, but later would hurt him gravely. But for the time being, he was raised with his parents until he was 8. He was a decent ninja, good for his age, and gaining experience fast. He had some trouble understanding ninjutsu, always forming it the wrong way or damaging himself by accident. He was almost about to get kicked out, until his parents did a risky move.

(Flashback) Kubitsuki’s door rattled, he swore he heard voices of the military. They didn't sound happy, but it sounded like madness. His father snarled in anger, barricading the main door into his house. Kubitsuki’s mother walked in, speaking about if it was time. It apparently was, and Kubitsuki was plucked up in his mother’s arms, and she started to run out the back. A revolver shot sounded out as she screamed to the air, falling into concrete. She most likely cursed, the foggy memory not allowing Kubitsuki to remember that well. She screamed something that was the opposite however, almost completely clear because it was complete gibberish! She lifted her hand, setting it ablaze before Kubitsuki watched one of the most gruesome things ever. He watched his mother get shot in the face. Her pink rippled eyes stared into his amber eyes, before the third round ended her. His father was held down by someone he did not know, but the fourth shot ended the struggle. That night, his bloodline was awoken.

Adrenaline coursed through his veins, his brain constantly screaming to fight or fly! Kubitsuki knew he was to weak, so he ran as fast as he could! Time seemed to slow down, the forces behind him were no longer trying to shoot him, but simply keep a lock on him. 8 inches off the ground, 4 inches to the left from my left shoulder, 4 men, 2 women. Kubitsuki by his luck dodged out of the way of the bullet, leaping straight back up after his roll. He kept on running, letting his brain think of survival and adrenaline. Think only about that, that was his only chance! He screamed in fear, when the ANBU arrived, taking him down in mere moments, but leaving the scar on his face. *End of flashback*

From Kubitsuki's highly traumatic experience of his parent’s death scaring him half to death plus the general situation, he was taken in by the police for questioning and mental aide. His problem was erased completely by a simple ANBU who was asked in for this ‘delicate case’ to help him instead of interrogating him. Kubitsuki was curled up in a ball in the corner, his eyes expressing petrification of fear, watching the ANBU prepare. The ANBU saw the events through Kubitsuki’s eyes, using his Mental Infiltration technique and discovering that Kubitsuki was not even a threat to any body in his current state, let alone aware of what happened. A few false memories crafted and inserted later, Kubitsuki was perfect fine, but unknown to any, it sealed his bloodline away. He simply understood that his parents died when he was much younger, and he was being protected by two adoptive parents. The ANBU decided that it was best to send him to the Monastery of Raiden. There, Kubitsuki gained much of his formal education and skill.

Kubitsuki was adopted into the Monastery of Raiden, along with a few other orphans. They were raised on how to read and write at a more proficient level, taught to pray to Raiden, and taught the ways of chakra to those gifted with it. Only Kubitsuki and two others there had enough skills to utilize chakra adequately, but they grew. It would be years, with lot of visitors, but one always stood out to him. His father came by time to time, making sure he was alright. He always wore his mask, only showing Kubitsuki his true face. The ANBU told him that his name was Nise. His ‘father’ Nise checked if he remembered his true past, not revealing a word about it until he was ready. Kubitsuki in the meanwhile learned enough to become a teacher, but decided to actually practice his ninjutsu. At the age of 14, he went back to the academy, and rapidly ranked up with his advanced ninjutsu for his rank. He was brought up to his original class, where one of the classmates remembered him.

He heard the gossip from that one classmate, who said, “Hey, that new kid? I heard his parents were killed around like 7 years ago. Terrorists or something. Its bizarre!” He did not think much of it, his parents died trying to stop a terrorist attack on their own house. He was only spared because even “evil has standards” apparently. He continued training in the Aurora Eruditio, becoming a teacher when he was only 16. He taught for years, until he fought his father Nise once again. He told Nise of the strange rumor going around the Aurora Erudito, which shut up Nise for a minute. Nise asked him if he wanted to know the truth, which to Nise’s surprise Kubitsuki said no to. Kubitsuki did not need to know if it was true or not, he just knew that it was all in the past, and he would have rathered just lived in his ignorant bliss. The ANBU told him anyways, which immediately shattered what Kubitsuki just said. He screamed “WHAT?!” He learned that his parents were disgraced Jashinists, who were planning to die in a bloody suicidal offering to their god to go into heaven. His mental seal broke, unleashing his bloodline. Nise was not even the ANBU’s real name, but he was thankful to have the pseudo-father. He gathered himself,, and left the scene with no injuries, deaths, or major property damage. He did have to pay a few hundred yen though.

Kubitsuki would finish up teaching that year, deciding to work as a part-time student in the Medicine field, at least at first. Kubitsuki entered the field only from his Chuunin rating, otherwise both his name and having no clan would get him denied. The teacher returned to being the student, and spent a two year course in medical school, learning of general practices, herbs, poisons, and anti-venoms. He excelled in learning how to properly handle material, and to detect what the symptoms were, but had some general trouble dealing with the problem. Kubitsuki was on the verge of failing the course, struggling to keep his grades up to a suitable level. He studied day after day, even reading on the human body during emergency missions! He waited for that one day, and discovered that he failed by a entire grade level. He remained silent, trying to breath as best as he could to avoid anger. He was so damned close, he desired to enter this school with a burning passion. He studied as hard as he could, and took the entire two year course again. He tried to absorb as much information as he could, keeping his above average grading as best as he could. He would after the second two year course at the age of 18 achieve his approval to move onto the next part of the program, a 6 year on duty 'exam' following the works of a higher ranking med-nin. Kubitsuki finished his training this current year, becoming a Med-nin!

Kubitsuki was given a break for a week during a time of below average patients from a over abundance of staff. His apartment payment was coming up soon, and he basically just lost his pay check. It was worth a shot to get a job in the mean while, he was a damned ninja, he could easily handle two jobs, he hoped! He wandered throughout town, asking for any job openings, but most came out flat or were plain disgusting. It was a nightmare just trying to find a place to accept him from his parents, whom he still cursed to this day. He had to remain silent between places, or else risk his snarls to escape and set solid their fears. He however did meet one person, a girl with pink pig tails! Kubitsuki gave his regular speech to all, saying "Hello, I am Shisokoku Kubitsuki, and I am looking for a job. Could I be of service to you and your business?" The girl poked him with the pencil, replying with a interested tone, "Hmm...you're pretty scrawny, but that would make tossing you around easier. We don't have anyone with a scar, so I suppose you could bring in a new fanbase. Hmmm..." She tapped her lip twice with her little pencil, before replying with ""Follow this to the Mochizuki camp. Tell them Kimiki sent you. They'll take real good care of you." A mischievous smirk spread to her lips before she walked away, which left Kubitsuki in his mind screaming 'Well thats not creepy at all!"

Kubitsuki would follow the directions as closely as he could muster, getting lost and back tracking a few times, but finally reaching to the destination point of the Mochizuki Camp. He would call out to the first person he could meet, "Pardon! I do not wish to be rude, but Kimiki sent me. I am looking for a job! "Kubitsuki activated his Byakugan just to be safe, waiting to see what response would come to him. Almost immediately, A man with red hair and glasses turned to face him, and gave a slight scoff. "Pfft. Listen kid, just having white eyes ain't gonna cut it." The man had to bend down rather far to meet Tsurihangingu's short gaze, "But I've heard your blood is supposed to make you more graceful or something? I think it's rotting ridiculous, but why don't you prove it?" The man, who was later identified as the eldest son of the troupe leader, led Kubitsukito a mini stage. "Well kid, impress me." Kubitsuki asked for someone to shoot bullets at him so he could dodge them. Though no one had a gun, the man before Kubitsuki happened to be a Hawkeye, and offered to throw kunai instead. Within moments, Kubitsuki activated his 8 trigrams 64 palms, knocking kunais out of the air and dodging out of the way of many, but did end up being a little crude and got slashed by a single kunai.

That day, Kubitsuki became a Mochizuki.

Kinjutsu Application - 2012 words - http://www.ninpocho.com/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=5500
Kubitsuki slammed his body to the ground while he rested his right hand behind his spine. He took in a deep breath, savoring the cold crisp air, before he went to his devoted work. His body dipped down low, mere centimeters away from his nose, before being pushed up from one extreme to the other. His body increased its height once more to his heart beat, straightening muscle and spine in the small intervals between to get the best out of the work out, before dipping again to the third beat. Every second and a half he completed a push up, trying to improve his stamina as best as he could. Keep on going, that was all he had to do, keep on going! True peace could only be found when your body has been honed stronger than your smarts! His chakra pulsed forth, his spiritual energy only used to add a little pressure. His muscles tensed up in response, working just as he wanted! His exercise was going well, but he had to think of a way to do this more efficiently, maybe some weights? The tenth push up hit, perfectly on the beat he clapped and switched to his left hand. This repeated once more, but now he would clap between each and every push up, switching hands often!

A single hour passed Kubitsuki by before he would strengthen another muscle. Kubitsuki decided to check his heart beat during his minute break, watching with his byakugan the heart pulse forth. 136 beats per minute, he was not at his max 197, but even he knew that was dangerous. One day he wishes to strengthen past this human limitation, but now he had to fall to this order. More hours would pass, each spent on a set of muscles for some ritual of strength. His muscles had turned a brighter red except for what muscles laid closest and farthest from his heart. Kubitsuki kept on doing his back flips and front flips, twirling around like a acrobat. His body was tiring greatly, but he kept on going. He had no care in the world but to become a master of his body! He kept on going, until he screamed in a great pain! He clutched at his heart, snarling in pain as his heart just stopped. Heart attack, he is suffering a damned heart attack. His breath flew into his face weakly, smelling dry and shallow like the grave. He saw a person run towards him, was it one of his teachers? He knew not, for everything went to black before he could make him out fully.

Kubitsuki’s eyes shot open, his body jerking upwards to his consciousness. He asked the air, “Hello? Is anyone there?” He tried to lift himself up from the ground, but his hand went through the Earth. Kubitsuki’s eyes snapped 180 degrees to this viewing, slowly experimenting his hand plunging into the Earth and back out. The young man lifted up his spiritual palm, and to his horror seeing it was see through! He made a deep snarling sound, before looking down to his butt. He screamed, “Ehh?!” His body span naturally to his neck’s current position, fixing himself in relative ease. Not a single breath had been drawn from this spirit, keeping his calm as best as he could. Everything was going to be fine! Perfectly fine he says. He cracked his neck, deciding that it was simply a matter of time before things go to normal. This all was a bad dream most likely, yeah just a bad dream! He decided that it was time to visit his birth home, flying to the village of Lightning.

High up in the clouds Kubitsuki’s mind fled to, moving the clouds as best as he could. The world reacted to him as if he was a frozen breeze, chilling the world around him. Kubitsuki saw those tiny things you would always miss, like the migrating birds around himself. Coming back home from the Winter’s chill finally being shattered by the flame of Spring! The flames had heated the morning, while Winter holds her grip yet on the shadows. He pushed a hand out to the burning star of plasma known as the Sun, basking in it’s glory. Raiden’s might mixed with the flames of despair could make such a beautiful war in the Heavens. Kubitsuki finished his day dreaming, and dive bombed into the village! It was a short trip since the mountain top village basically WAS only a few thousand feet below himself. He dropped into the outskirts, floating into the Dragon Tooth pass.

Kubitsuki touched down on the Earth gently, pushing away dirt and tiny stones to make way. His transparent body held it’s joy inside, hungry for the excitement of discovery. He stepped into a small group, screaming up to the gates in protest. The Shinobi screamed, “For the last time! Your goods are not wanted here, trade them to the referees in the tents and houses! They need it more then anyone in here does.” The trader in a almost hushed voice yelled out just loud enough to be heard, “But, there might be thieves and distrust around these bastards! I don’t want to have my goods stolen, I need to make a profit! I would rather be safe and make a equal or lesser profit and survive, then earn a greater profit to the possibility of losing it all!” The Shinobi yelled back, “Your self entitled! Come back once you have matters that are important to the village, or once the foreign ban is over!” The trader screamed in outrage, “Well fuck you, I hope you and your family get cursed by your ‘Raiden’!” The shinobi blew off the insult, keeping watch as the angry trader cursed the live long day. Kubitsuki thought, ‘Note to self, travel ban on foreigners.’ If he had not been a natural citizen of the land, then he would have been in big trouble!

Kubitsuki wandered into the Aesculapium, his body drawn there like a magnet. Slowly he started to pick up on a chakra that seemed to be linked to him, it was upstairs in this very hospital. He wanted to go straight up but, that would be rude! Plus he would never unsee anything disgusting here, so it was best to just take the safe route. He walked passed the opaque walls, sniffing the sterilized air. It was chilled, slowing cell growth by a small amount, why did he know that? The requirements of life would be lowered accordingly- the Hell? He heard the voices echo in his head, but no one was around him in the open air. He gazed through a door to see a woman asleep soundly on a operating table with stitches over her arm, connecting her right forearm to a piece that might have been ripped off. Nasty. Kubitsukikept on walking, following the trail of chakra to the third floor of the building. He laid his eyes on his own body, sleeping and actually breathing. It was a miracle! Wait, if this chakra line connected him to his body, that meant that the Monk should be near by. He looked to the left, seeing his teacher sleeping. So he did have a heart attack, it was a shame to know it true, but at least he was fine.

Kubitsuki rested back into his body, letting his chakra fuse forth into it. His eyes weakly opened, his slow raspy breath growing stronger. Using the utmost basic wind ninjutsu, he was able to make it easier to breath, at least not in complete pain. It was hard to think straight, his body demanding sleep but his mind wide awake and feeling something out there in the darkness call out to him. He closed his eyes, allowing his chakra to now diverge from his body. The chakra reformed as a separate entity in a pocket dimension, looking up to a giant statue of stone. It's eyes were covered with a giant cloth blindfold, protecting it's diluted silvery brown skin. It had a crest of spikes and growths, that also lined it's back and spine. The beast spoke softly, its naturally large presence being loud and bold, but no quivering came, "...I am Wasuremashita, or in your tongue, Forgotten. That is my current name, for I have had thousands of names, most different then the last to all of my children. I summoned you Dead Land, Hanging Tree!"

Kubitsuki starred at the giant statue, but strangely did not feel scared. He calmly spoke to it back, "I prefer my last name, Kubitsuki. I apologize however, why did you summon me? I hold nothing a spirit would want except for my eyes." The statue seemed amused at the response, Wasuremashita replying with, "Exactly my child. You were born a Hyuuga, and suffered from a path of your own. Your own divergence, it was honorable to see. You decided to help those that stole from you, scavenge your life from horror and death to one of life. You are going to be a med-nin soon, you are doing so much for those that have wronged you. Your Mother was originally going to be the bearer of my strength, but the chalice of light has been passed on to another generation." Kubitsuki followed each and every word, in a state of pure tranquility. He responded in his monotone tune, "The Chalice of Light? You mentioned my eyes, would that be the fluid inside my eyes?" Wasuremashita replied once more, "Yes my child, for you it would be. Your eyes have the ability to transform, to enhance to a fabled myth known as the Rinnegan. Your mother's pink rippled eyes, they were a weaker Rinnegan then you have. You stole it from her, when she diluted her purity by following her love into the path of blood. I wished she would have followed my path, but I offer you this my child. Accept my gift, and when you recover and try to use your Byakugan, you will gain the Rinnegan. Each and every night tell the next Blue Moon I will teach you to master the Rinnegan. Treat this like a contract, worship the power I give you, respect it, love it, savor it. If I am your one and only major religion, and you follow that one rule, I will make my contract with you. No strings attached, I swear on the Kamis. Do we have a deal?" The statue moved it's arms from it's crossed X formation, to a hand shake. The index finger was almost as large as Kubitsuki himself! The child thought for a few moments, realizing that he would lose almost nothing in his life. He said, "I accept Wasuremashita, you shall no longer be Forgotten, but Omoidashimashita, Remembered." Omoidashimashita smiled, accepting this fate and accepting the contract while whispering, "Honor our deal, and I shall honor my side... Go! The ritual will begin soon..."

The chakra was summoned from the throne room of Remembered, back to the body of Kubitsuki. His soul was refused back into one being, forcing a awakening on his body once more. His now normal breath had steadily recovered from his last state, and his breath''s emotion had returned as well! He sighed, "Oh thank Omoidashimashita..." That was going to get old reeaaall fast. He did not care though, when he woke in the mourning, he would see if the eyes had blessed him or not. He would wake to see if Omo was real, and if he was? He earned a new teacher, a celestial teacher. The mitochondria in his cells, what gave him his energy, his chakra, his life, pulsed. All from his mother, they each held the holy secret of the Rinnegan. The energy slowly grew in his bloodstream, becoming more and more pure, until when he woke the next day. The surge was accepted, causing his eyes to evolve into the fabled Rinnegan. The true holy power was now his, or was there something more?

Re: (WIP) Riaot Fukkatsu ---> Deddorando Tsuriihangingu

Name: Not approved, too much of the english words still existing in there
Class: Approved
Physical/Mental Description: Approved, an interesting dynamic.
History: Approved
Rank: Will need Kitsune's approval
Clan Request: Will need Tomo/Tama's approval

Stats: I'm guessing you're keeping them the same?
Jutsu: Approved, only change of note being +16 ASP

Confused as to the last part and what it's for?

I'll get the people who need to give other approvals to come in here and post, if you could answer the two questions I have in the mean time that'd be awesome. Cheers.

Re: (WIP) Riaot Fukkatsu ---> Deddorando Tsuriihangingu

Sorry to be rude, but there is still a WIP title! So for those things unapproved and approved, I am only 75% done. I wanted to get basically just the history, kin, then focus on the rest!~

Yea...no.
Players cannot turn into spirits unless we're talking a GW taking on Ghostly Form.
Even that's not 100% ghost mode. Sorry, but the potential for metagame by being able to go spirit is a bit too high. I'm vetoing that. We don't want to set a policy wherein someone could try doing that in an RP to metagame.

This is not counted as a denial, IE he does not need to wait a month. He can fix this issue in one of many ways and should be good upon doing so.

Regarding your history...

Why would he need two jobs? or a job in general? He's a ninja, he does missions for the village and gets paid that way.

And, why did the ANBU come in and kill his parent(s)?

Why was he sent to the monastery of Raiden when he was being trained as a Shinobi of Kumo? Why would the village throw away an asset they had been spending money to train?

Just looking for more info at this point.

I do love how stupid some people are.

Enzeru. Do you understand what an out of body experience is? This doesn't mean that the thing actually happened, it means that's what they imagined happening. It's not real... it's an out of body experience. That this needs to be explained is beyond me. People manage to have dreams they can think felt real without them being a ghost walker.

Nobuyuki - The killing of parents is explained, they were Jashinist terrorists who were taken out. The jobs thing is fine, maybe his character doesn't make enough to cover the medical bills or something so needs the additional work? As for the Monastary he was sent there as a child for special care while recovering from seeing his family killed and effectively raised there till he could take part in training.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though Kubitsuki but that's what I got from it.

Edit: In talking with Enzeru we need you to specify that the images were images seen while unconscious and didn't really happen. Effectively a realistic dream. If you could please edit this into your Kin app it would be most appreciated. This is to clarify the issue which has been taken with it by admin and make sure it's not used in future.

Kinjutsu Application - 2184 words - http://www.ninpocho.com/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=5500

The monk stood up that had saved him, hand seals burring to a speed almost inhumanly fast. Marks grew all over the bed, but reality seemed to crack around him. It sparked and splattered like a broken TV, trying to pick up what little it could. The radio static hit him full blast, and he stared up into the sky. He was in a giant room but he was not alone. Looking up to a giant statue of stone, the now repaired Kubitsuki screamed in fear. I summoned you Dead Land, Hanging Tree! My genjutsu, reflected off the moon and reaching your gaze, has put you in my test. You passed through my Mental Kombat, a world I fabricated to test any of my children. Come, do not be afraid, let me explain the situation to you."

Kubitsuki starred at the giant statue, but strangely did not feel scared anymore. He calmly spoke back to it, "I prefer my last name, Kubitsuki. I apologize however, why did you summon me, and what test? You mentioned my eyes, would that be the fluid inside my eyes? My soul?" Wasuremashita replied once more, "Yes my child, for you it would be, but others it may be much more or much less. Your eyes have the ability to transform, to enhance to a fabled myth known as the Rinnegan by feeding off the Chalice of Light, but the only way to suckle from its teat is to pass my test, which you did. Your mother's pink rippled eyes, they were a weaker Rinnegan then you would have once you awaken them. You stole it from her when she diluted her purity by following her love into the path of blood, the path of Jashin. I wished she would have followed my path and not have to perish, but I offer you this my child. Accept my gift, and when you recover and try to use your Byakugan, you will gain the Rinnegan as well. Go! The ritual will end as soon as you leave."

His body snapped awake, gasping for breathing. His eyes were still in the throne room, but he knew what had happened. The statue of Omoidashimashita snapped, . The genjutsu was over, but it was truly his. The Eyes of God, given to him by the Forgotten to be Remembered. It was a real story, and it was his.

Info @ Matsuura Nobuyuki

He needed the job at the time because he at the time switched to Med-nin, and was worrying that since he got laid off for a single week that he might not get enough Yen. Its more of a safe then sorry thing, a overreaction.

The ANBU came in to kill his parents because his parents worshiped Jashin, and they felt disgraced that they did not give any offerings to Jashin to raise their child. They decided to do a suicide bombing, but were discovered when one of their neighbors ratted them out, and the ANBU came in to safely take them down without any casualties.

He was sent to the Monastery of Raiden because at the time, he was not a ninja (Plus, he might need some religious help from his Parents being Jashin, and some mental care). He had no chakra talent what so ever, but when his eyes awoken it gave him hope that he could. He was brought to the Monastery to be taught/proven to be able to use the proper way of ninjutsu and the way of Raiden, for he still was a unknown variable at the time. He was not known to be either stable (Because well, his parent's plans) nor even able to use Ninjutsu properly. He learned quick, and understood everything about it, but had trouble in execution of the techniques. When he was a Chuunin, he was a teacher because that's basically all he COULD do, and his lack of skill in ninjutsu was the reason he had to retake the med-nin course after failing it (Also mixed in the fact around this time he would be getting lessons from the statue every night if my kin is approved). He strengthened over the years, until now where he can finally properly use ninjutsu. Otherwise, his taijutsu would barely hold any promise because of how much chakra he would need to use it.
