Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

ϟ Always on her back rests a rather long katana easily stretching four feet, she is never seen without it.

ϟ Extremely Loyal: Ejji was brought up in a culture that bred loyalty. Her family, although small in number, have had a long standing history of supreme loyalty to the village. Ejji is not unlike her kin in this matter as she would easily give her life to ensure the well-being of the village.
ϟ Tempered: She's feisty and not at all afraid to vocalize or show her feisty nature. This trait is not out of any negativity but because she is so dedicated and aggressive in her training and attitude. While it may be put off as throwing temper tantrums, it is all within good standing as she is just overly attached to both her fledgling skills and occupation.
ϟ Cocky: For what it is worth, she is highly and just a tinge bit overly confident in herself. Even if the situation is to much for her to deal with, she simply does not know the definition of limitations.

[legend="The Seven Dagger Story Arc"]What had originally started as a normal day for Ejji quickly turned into the complete opposite. As she was routinely traveling through the Susukino District, she encountered and witnessed a grim scene. A man was uniformly executed in the streets while the public was congregating. The unnamed man responsible for the murder was quickly stopped from leaving the area by Ejji herself however another unnamed man intercepted her action. Spurred by both being outnumbered and the fact that a genjutsu was placed upon everyone she was reluctantly powerless to stop the two from leaving the area. Left with a body, the proper authorities were summoned and coupled with the brazant assassination was a leftover clue that had been dropped on the scene. Recovered by Ejji she could not tell if it was left on purpose or accidently, though with the content of note pointing towards a glorified hit on the deceased target known now as Kenzo Oshin, she was tasked with further investigating the matter.

Description: A katana that was forged with a rod of pure silver embedded within the handle and branches of copper filaments extending through the titanium that made the bulk of the body and edge. Because of the materials used to forge the blade it is highly conductive to electricity something that causes it to easily be channeled through. The blade itself when weilded by Ejji emits a sound reminicent of static, a trait that gave it it's name. Sutatikku was specially crafted for Ejji's use by her clan and is modeled to grow with her experience.

Name: Shokkingusōn
Description: A stack of throwing knifes created through the same process as her Sutatikku, though they are adeptly named Shokkinguson because of the traits each knife has once picked up by a member of the Raitoningu clan. The knives have a nasty habit of inflicting bursts of shocks to whatever they strike and while a single shock does no real harm, if one is continously struck by these it can create pretty nasty consequences.

[spoilername="OWTS Table"]Lightning Absorption</U><i></i> - Passive (3 points)
Restriction- B Rank and up
Sky ninja with this ability are so attuned to lightning that most lightning attacks don’t even hurt them, and many weaker currents actually heal them. The slightest touch of a lightning bolt becomes a refreshing jolt of energy to one with this skill.
Effect: Level 1-4 lighting jutsu heal the user for that much HP instead of damage. Take only 85% damage from level 5-6 lightning jutsu and 90% damage from level 7 lightning jutsu.

Shocking Current<i></i> - Passive (2 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
Sky ninja who have this ability enhance their lightning jutsu to have lingering effects of stunning properties. The enemy moves much slower under this effect, their movements impeded, making them easier to hit.
Effect: Lightning jutsu have a 30% chance to impart a -1 dodge penalty for 3 rounds. This effect stacks up to 3 times; stacking does not renew old penalty timers.

Path of Raiden - Modification (3 points)
Restriction- Requires a Minor in Lightning
A true master of lightning and thunder, Raiden was able to control the elements and wield them through his weapon with amazing strength. The user does the same with their lightning jutsu, increasing the damage that they do when channeled jutsu are cast their their weapon.
Effect: When using the elemental affinity move "Channeling", weapon strikes deals 150 Lightning damage per hit as well as it's normal damage. Strikes with this weapon count as lightning damage while this technique is active. All strikes with this weapon give the target a 4% chance of paralysis when performing actions, for three rounds. When Chakra Extension is active, all hits deal an additional +10% on partial hits. When weapon strikes miss by 1, lightning damage equal to 30% of the weapon's base damage is dealt to the opponent.

Twin Lightning<i></i> - Dependent Special move (2 points)
Lightning does strike twice. By pouring in extra chakra and splitting the power, One with the Sky can attack two opponents at once, turning a single lightning jutsu into an amazingly double strike.
Effect: By paying 2.0x the normal chakra cost, the user can have a single ranged lightning jutsu strike two separate targets each for full damage. This can only be used 3 times per battle.

Charge<i></i> - Boost (1 point)
Restriction- May only be purchased up to three times.
Being more skilled with lightning jutsu than others, naturally their lightning jutsu do more damage. Their inner thunder seems to crackle outwardly when this skill is mastered, marking their skill with it.
Effect: +5% Lightning Damage

Lightning Catch<i></i> - Independent Special Move (2 points)
Restriction- Must own and have mastered at least three lightning jutsu
A Sky ninja has the capability to do several very unique things with lightning. They can absorb it, they can stun with it, they can channel it in their weapon...and they can catch it and hurl it back at the opponent.
Effect: Can be employed for a chance to 'catch' a Lightning jutsu aimed at user and throw it back at the opponent at -20% damage and -2 accuracy. Chance to catch depends on level. Level 1-4 has a 50% chance to catch, level 5-6 has a 35% chance, level 7 has a 20% chance to catch. The user has -5 dodge to this attack if they fail this check. Can be used as a reactive action against a lightning jutsu once per round.

Channel Thunder<i></i> - Independent Special Move (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
When a lightning attack is aimed at the user, they may choose to convert it into power, adding that damage to the next lightning attack they use. What's worse, this damage is added through conscious choice, and thus precedes the reduction from absorbing the jutsu.
Effect: A level 1-7 lightning jutsu can be absorbed by the user one round and used to buff the user's next lightning jutsu by 40% the amount it would have done upon a full hit. This extra damage is not buffed by anything of the user's. The other 60% is treated as normal lightning damage and affected by Lightning Absorption accordingly. May only be used three times per battle. Can only be used against a basic lightning jutsu.

Notes: For initial calculations of 40%, Lightning Absorption and all other forms of damage reduction are ignored. They are only factored in after the 40% for the channel is removed.[/i]

Static<i></i> - Passive (2 Points)
The electricity coursing through their bodies almost all the time has the potential to stun those with the misfortune to be hit by them. Beware when attacking at melee range; the voltage sparking through a Sky ninja can be quite shocking.
Effect: With any melee attack by the user, there is a 10% chance to inflict paralysis on the target, causing -1 AP usable for the next round. Effect does not stack on the same target more than once a round.

Lightning Rod<i></i> - Passive (2 Points)
Not related to the jutsu of the same name, this technique turns the Sky ninja into a literal lightning rod, drawing all hostile lightning jutsu to them in a battle. This effect can be quite frustrating to those attempting to attack others with lightning, especially since the Sky nin tend to take reduced damage as it is.
Effect: Whenever a ranged lightning jutsu is aimed at the ally of the user, it has a 50% chance to hit the user instead.

Electromagnetic Pulse<i></i> - Dependent Special Move (2 Points)
Restriction- Must have three lightning jutsu mastered.
Storing and releasing lightning energy at a later time is one thing, but sometimes you just need to hit everything, right now. This technique of the Sky nin has the added bonus of potentially stunning the opponent even without Shocking Current.
Effect: By increasing the chakra cost of a Lightning Ninjutsu by +20% CP, a lightning jutsu can be converted into an area of effect pulse that strikes everyone within a 15x15 area with the user at the center, inflicting +10% damage with an increased +5% chance to stun/paralyze/etc.

Boundless Thunder<i></i> - Special Move (2 points)
Effect: For one round, the user may change all debuffs to their accuracy and damage into equivalent buffs instead; this only applies to Lightning-based attacks. Buffs revert to debuffs the next round. This may only be done every other round, up to three times per battle.

Thunder Armor - Independent Special Move (2 points)
Restriction- C Rank and Up, Three mastered Lightning jutsu
Immune to weaker Lightning attacks and resistant to stronger, Sky nin can also use their lightning power to build up a shocking shield around themselves. Anyone who draws near to them will feel a static shock, electricity coursing through them at an attempt to strike.
Effect: The user creates a shield of lightning around their body for 1000 CP and 1.5 AP. While it remains active, all melee attacks against the user do 20% recoil buffable lightning damage to the attacker and have a 20% chance to cause stun. Stunning causes -1 dodge for three rounds and cannot stack more than twice per target. Chance to stun stacks with Shocking Current, but the two combined cannot impart more than -4 dodge at once per target.
Cost: 300 CP/round to maintain.

Chain Lightning<i></i> - Jutsu (1 point, 1 to rank up)
Restriction- A-Rank and up
This fearsome lightning attack summons a powerful bolt of lightning that leaps from enemy to enemy until it runs out of power, wreaking havoc in large groups.
Rank 1: Deals 4000 damage at +1 accuracy, then randomly jumps to another enemy or metallic object within 15ft of the initial target, dealing 600 less damage at 2 less accuracy. Repeat this process until the bolt misses or deals no damage.
Rank 2: Deals 4500 damage at +2 accuracy, then randomly jumps to another enemy or metallic object within 20ft of the initial target, dealing 800 less damage at 2 less accuracy. Repeat this process until the bolt misses or deals no damage.

Cost: 3500 chakra and 3 AP
