Name: Rakugo Harusame
Age: 11
Gender: Female
Physical Description
Harusame is a little bit of a pip-squeak, standing at about 4'9" and weighing 78 pounds. She has fair skin and bright blue eyes, usually hidden behind one of her family's clan masks or her bangs. Her hair is a shade of light gray teetering on silver and she almost always has it pinned to one side by a seemingly unremarkable golden hair clip. On the days she isn't wearing it outright, the hair clip can almost always be found somewhere on her person, especially if it's raining. Her figure is slim, bordering on a little too slim probably, and that combined with her short stature makes her pretty easy to miss most of the time. When she's not wearing her kimono, she can be found in whatever happens to suit the weather with no real regard to any tradition but her own.
Mental Description
Harusame is kind and loyal above all other things, going out of her way to help her friends settle even the most petty disputes. She hates fighting, but has a bit of temper when it comes to something that hurts her friends. She loves to help others become the best they can be, but sometimes doesn't have a clear idea of what that means for others. Harusame can often be found tending to her family's restaurant part time inbetween classes, or out running errands for her family.
History
Harusame's grandfather owns a small and generally overlooked sushi bar on the outskirts of the maple district. There are a decent number of regulars that keep the place afloat, but the place isn't exactly booming or anything. Her parents, who have started taking over a lot of the management duties, are actually starting to incur a hefty chunk of debt that might have otherwise been avoided by grandpa's discipline. It didn't take long for Harusame to figure out after a couple of late night fights between her parents that they were in financial trouble, but how could she help to earn money for the family? She's just a kid after all.
Well, there's one way. The local ninja academy promises that after taking a year or so of free classes, they could actually be paying her! There's a teeny tiny clause that says you can never leave, but if it helps her family they wouldn't need to leave anyway. That's how Harusame ended up in the shinobi academy, slowly realizing as the days go by that she might have bitten off more than she could chew...
