Character's Physical Description: Due to being an early grower Hajime stands at 5'2", definitely taller than those his own age and, in some cases, even taller than those older than him. While not a chunky child, he is pushing the triple digits in weight (lbs), although one could never really know that as his height balances it out, making him appear to be average, if not slightly above average. He prefers to keep his hair in a buzz cut, as he thinks having any more than that will just be in the way and irritate him.
For clothing, he's one that greatly prefers comfort over fashion. A loosely-fitted shirt and a pair of comfortable jeans and he's ready to start his day. Of course, while he doesn't care too much for fashion, he won't purposely wear clothing with attention-grabbing vibrant colors unless absolutely necessary. For this, darker colors such as black or dark blue will become usual to see him in.
Character's Mental Description: Hajime is often thought to be much older than he is due to his height, with people estimating up to fifteen years old. He learned to grow up faster than usual due to others not treating him as a typical 10-year-old, and can appear to be very mature for his age with a cool and calm demeanor. However, that eccentric little kid inside him still exists and on occasion he will be just as loud and as playful as the best of them.

Character History: Despite his height and his unusual attitude, at least for his age, Hajime is a pretty unremarkable person. Living more than half his life without a mother and having a father that just, frankly, doesn't have that tender care of a mother has left Hajime living in a constant state of monotony. He has never really done anything that would impress someone, instead feeling it was better to do things just to get them over with - no going above and beyond expectations or anything. Even with his father's motivation Hajime finds it hard to actually do anything impressive. He believes it is due to a feeling of resentment he has for his father every so often, mainly linked to the disappearance of his mother and the lack of explanation for said disappearance.
He's not sure why or how, but one morning he woke up feeling very different. He had a dream that he was surrounded by people clapping and praising him, although he had no idea why. People don't cheer for those who do nothing remarkable, people like him, but for some reason this time they were. The only things he could remember from that dream before he was abruptly woken up was the crowd and a building in the distance. He had recognized it before and wanted to know what significance it played and so he visited it, only discovering once inside that it was the nearby academy. But why this place? Why that dream? As if the start of his morning wasn't unusual enough, he had a feeling it was going to become even more unusual as he stepped foot in that admissions office...
