Hi, my situation is a bit of a bizarre one so I'll do my best to explain it and hopefully I can be somewhat coherent in getting this across. I joined Ninpocho back in 2008 and RP'd actively until about 2012 when the old site was hacked and this new site was created. My original character was called "Zetsui Kira" and my last character in 2012 was called "Takuto Kaze". I joined this new site briefly in 2012 as "Ryunaramaru Jin" and RP'd a little bit, but I never had my stats transferred from the old site (it's my understanding that they weren't actually available yet) and quickly fell into inactivity for the past 5 years. I was hoping to re-join the community and contribute as an active RPer again so here I am! If I'm not mistaken, I believe that I begin with 75000 Yen and 2100 ASP so this application was written with those numbers in mind.

His hair is black and usually disheveled, and behind a pair of spectacles are piercing cyan-blue eyes. His typical dress is non-descript and consists of casual street clothes, though when he is on official ninja business he will wear dark clothing that fits tight and maximizes his dexterity.
Character's Mental Description: Satoshi is a very laid back, easygoing fellow who can get along with virtually anyone. He is extremely polite, sometimes perfunctorily so, but he is seldom the first to speak and prefers to listen to others instead of running his own mouth. Satoshi has cultivated a sturdy mental fortitude from years of rigorous training and study and as such it is difficult to intimidate him through insults, threats or daunting situations. This trained equanimity, along with his mechanical politeness, can often times be misinterpreted by others as aloofness or apathy. Nonetheless Satoshi is an affable and devoted friend to anyone that he has gotten to know well, though like all good shinobi, he never rushes to establish friendships with anyone he has just met.
Character History: Satoshi was born into a humble, agrarian family who worked the farms on the rocky outskirts of Cloud Village. His father was an industrious and creative farmer who devised clever ways to maximize his harvest from the unforgiving terrain, and his mother tended to the household chores and the ponderous responsibility of raising Satoshi and his nine brothers and sisters. All of Satoshi’s siblings excelled at farm work and anticipated continuing the family business for many generations to come, but Satoshi himself suffered from poor eye-sight and never could contribute as well as his brothers and sisters. As the youngest member of the family, his parents sympathized with his situation and allowed him ample free time to study and read at his leisure while his siblings labored in the fields. One day his uncle, who was a moderately accomplished shinobi from the nearby Cloud Village but considered eccentric by most of Satoshi’s family, visited during a special occasion and brought some books to nourish Satoshi’s voracious appetite for literature and learning. Satoshi’s uncle gave him a generous collection of textbooks on Ninjutsu techniques and the venerable history of Cloud’s most distinguished shinobi, and Satoshi was soon inspired to follow in the footsteps of these grand role models and become a stalwart defender of Cloud himself. With nothing more at his disposal than free time, he studied these textbooks indefatigably and soon demonstrated talents that were absent in his entire immediate family save his crazy uncle. Recognizing his son’s unusual gifts, Satoshi’s father and mother made the joint decision to enroll him in Cloud Village’s shinobi academy, where Satoshi swiftly displayed a rare aptitude for Ninjutsu techniques. At an astonishingly early age he managed to master the art of casting jutsu with one-handed seals, and his instructors praised him for his unique efficiency in conserving Chakra when other students were more quickly depleted. Satoshi graduated with top marks from the Academy, as the expensive gift of a pair of glasses from his parents corrected most of his visual deficiencies. He loyally and effectively served Cloud Village as a Genin for only a short number of years before being nominated to take the Chuunin Exam, which he passed with flying colors, though despite his success Satoshi is acutely aware that among his fellow Chuunins he is but a novice and has tons left to learn. Satoshi’s path to becoming a shinobi with Cloud Village was very much a turbulent and unexpected journey, but no matter how dramatically his life deviates from that of his family, his provincial upbringing and appreciation for the simple things in life remain intimately close to his heart.
