Ao is a pale skinned woman who generally wears layers of dark clothing which compliment her slender frame. At times this can include a trench style cloak or typical anbu garbs should it be needed.
Character's Mental Description: Ao is a detached, cold, insensitive and almost apathetic woman. Personality traits which has served her well within the Anbu ranks. As every kumogakure shinobi has been trained since childhood to become ninja within the shinobi system, Aoi learned to become impassive to the world outside of what she is supposed to do. All this however is not fully set in stone as she can at times showcase some outwards emotions towards others or even voice concern should it be absolutely called for.

Character History:
She was born within the village of Kumogakure to non-shinobi parents who were more affiliated with occult beliefs than they were with shinobi structure. To say the least Ao became the typical rebellious child type though this would lead her to begin instruction within the shinobi academy of Kumogakure with naturally the disapproval of her parents. Though they did not like her choice being the type of people they were they did not undermine her decision either. Having grown up in an environment where the supernatural and demonic were all but normalized, the adverse effect this had on her personality would ingrain itself into her very being. Within the academy she was a social recluse, not bothering to go out her way to develop those bonds to her peers that others would have assumed most children would do. It would be because she did not have a background in the shinobi world, she was unable to draw upon experiences from her family to somewhat guide her. The results were that she was generally abysmal when it came to using techniques from the ninjutsu or taijutsu spectrums. What her background did however impart her was a natural affinity for mental games, as she was already baptized in things that would strain a child’s mental focus. This coupled with a talent for chakra control led to her finding a niche with genjutsu. With this she was capable of thriving as a shinobi well after the academy, though naturally from a supportive role when it came to her involvement on missions and the like. Time being the driving factor behind her development into a specialist of sorts aided tremendously by a gift of her genetics. Possessing the traits of the Uchiha, Ao awakened the sharingan during a mission where she had the overpowering emotion of helplessness. Being unable to assist when it was needed had turned the emotion into the very trigger needed to activate the doujutsu. Uniquely though her sharingan’s color pattern differed from the general norm being that it was a shade of blue as opposed to the crimson red many understood it to be. Equally was that while she could not exactly understand it, there was a gut feeling that more was to her eyes than she understood with her limited knowledge. This was all to her own surprise and later her own families considering none had been shinobi previously and what markers lay dormant in their blood had been unknown or lost to history. It would be with the aid of her sharingan that she would eventually find herself within the ranks of Anbu, though with her recluse lifestyle and scarce social ties was like two puzzle pieces fitting together. With age and ever growing understanding of what she could do to the best that she could do it, she’d find herself rising in the ranks of Anbu as well. Ao was by no means the best shinobi, but she was one who used her talents to the best of their ability and never tried to go outside of what she could do.
