His wiry build, tanned complexion, windswept dark-blonde hair, piercing blue eyes, and generally handsome features make him somewhat of a heartthrob amidst his contemporaries . . . at least until he shatters their dreams with an exotic display of contortion.
Personality: Garou craves attention and, as such, tends to gravitate towards the nearest gathering of people and make a spectacle of himself: whether said spectacle merely involves inducing jealously and admiration amongst his classmates via his social charm or shattering their minds with his contortionist skills, savage howls and grunts, and in general a repressed bestial nature depends on the company he is attempting to impress.
Background: Born the illegitimate son of an alcoholic businessman and one of his prostitute mistresses, this boy was given the name of Garou to remind him of his place in his father's world: a starving bastard of a mongrel that, out of so-called mercy, was allowed to live instead of being put down. And for years, his father would remind him of this fact by disciplining him for the slightest infractions with excessive physical and psychological abuse. When these assaults first began, his stepmother would intervene in a futile attempt to defend her stepchild from her husband's rage, but after invoking his wrath instead of deflecting it so many times, she just remained silent.
After seven years of torment, a kunoichi on her last mission infiltrated the Hakusawa estate and witnessed the brutal beatings firsthand. Without so much as a second thought, she snapped the man's neck as his son watched, not in horror, but in morbid curiosity. As she began to leave, the boy raced after her and hugged her with all of his pitiful might, grateful that the waking nightmare was finally over.
The kunoichi adopted the boy and returned him to Kumogakure, where he would learn how to become a shinobi and defend his village and himself from further dangers.
