Shinrya Riko has a commanding presence, standing at 5 feet tall 10 inches tall. She has a physique that is a mixture of the strength of a shinobi and femininity held in a delicate balance. She is statuesque for a young woman, her body having been built and toned from the time and effort she has spent sculpting it into a weapon, as a shinobi of Cloud. Yet, she is not only a weapon, as her toned muscles feed into her curves and give her a mostly boyish build. Mostly, because she has a bountiful chest.
Her sleek raven dark hair is kept short in a cute pixie cut. Her eyes are often stern and like cool dark orbs.
Riko tends to like athletic clothing over any other kind. She frequently wears high neck halter top. Long gloves adorn her hands and extend past the elbow with metal plates protecting her forearms. She wears her village symbol on her belt on her waist. Attached at the back of her belt is a pouch where she keeps most of her shinobi gear. She wears dark-colored pants that tuck into boots that have metal plates protecting her shins. She wears a kunai holster on her right thigh.
When Riko moves, she moves with casual confidence. As a woman of the Shinrya she has born high expectations, and her poise reflects that. Her shoulders remain relaxed and level, and she maintains a balanced posture that speaks volumes about her composure. She stands up straight and walks with a subtle hypnotic grace. All of this has been drilled into her by the clan so she hardly even needs to think about the proper way to move.

Riko is a remarkable woman full of courage and an indomitable spirit. Her past is one woven with the threads of discipline, sacrifice, and relentless determination, and these qualities she maintains to this day. Despite the bonds of discipline and requirements of her clan within her burns an untamed fire that resides deep within her soul. Her strength does not manifest only through any physical prowess she may have, but also in her unwavering resolve.
At the core of her values are loyalty, duty, and sacrifice. These principles were instilled in her from a young age and have been reinforced through the difficult experiences that she has gone through in her life. Her commitment to these ideals creates a weakness in her which leads her to neglect her own needs and desires. Her selflessness often comes at the cost of personal fulfillment and self-care. Riko often struggles with feelings of burnout and frustration as she struggles to find a balance between her responsibilities and her own well-being. When the fires of her passions leave her burned out she finds the indomitable flame a mere spark and finds herself struggling with alcohol or cigarettes - two habits that her father begged her to give up and so she mostly has but sometimes she grows too weak to resist.

Riko started her career as a shinobi at the age of 8 years old. She entered the academy and trained for two years relentlessly with the full support of her father. As her mother had died during childbirth, it was up to her father to help her and raise her. They spent countless hours working on her homework together and he assisted her with learning important skills necessary to clear the academy’s exams. After she graduated, however, her father fell sick.
As the Shinrya are matriarchal, and she being of the main branch, she found it difficult to find support for her ailing father and was forced to take care of him herself. While she and her father received a stipend, the demands on her time and attention meant that she couldn’t continue her journey as a shinobi and was forced to retire to care for him. His health was bad, but it only continued to deteriorate over the following years.
When Riko turned 18, chaos struck Cloud Village. A rebellion erupted causing chaos and destruction throughout the village. Some brave Shinobi lost their lives, but it was in the collateral damage of the conflict that Riko’s father lost his life. He was too weak and ill that without specialized treatment and medicine, he quickly succumbed to his illness. As she cried in the streets with her father cradled in her arms, the event served as a reminder of her calling as a shinobi.
She re-enlisted in the shinobi main branch, but given her time away and inexperience in battle she was forced to re-attend the academy. She was mocked by the younger academy students and teachers, but she preserved her indomitable spirit. Finally at the end of another two years in the academy she refamiliarized herself with the basics of shinobi life and got back into shape. She graduated the academy for a second time and became a genin for Cloud Village.
