Character's Physical Description:
Physically Doku appears quite young, age and injury showing no signs upon his frame. His former ability to heal any injury almost instantly has left him without blemish even after a long life of struggle. Combine this with his white hair and grey eyes and he would be rather distinguished if it were not for his mischievous grin. He moves with grace and purpose but with an undeniable undertone of energy, it is easy to tell that this is a man that is not yet done enjoying life. Though now this is little more than the mask he wears.
Character's Mental Description:
Despite all that he has been through Doku loves life. He doesn't worry about making the wrong decision anymore or other peoples opinions, worrying is for the young. He has already lived a full life and it could end tomorrow or in 50 years there is no way to tell so he focuses on enjoying the here and now. He does have a sharp mind however and when he applies himself he is a force to be reckoned with.
At least that is how he used to be. With the death or dissapearance of everyone he ever cared for except the very youngest of his family Doku has become more dour and disspirited. He desires for a return to the times of innocence with those he loves, but he knows that this can never be.

Character History:
The Kazumaki family home was always filled with laughter and joy and consequently Doku grew up well loved and happy, his best friend Hisao always by his side. They played together, they trained together and they fought with each other as kids do. Both of them came from old shinobi families and the bloodlines passed down to them drove their ambition as they grew and eventually this led them to join the academy were their friendly rivalry drove them to achieve whatever they set out to do. This included honing his gifts as a Kaguya, and even from a young age it was clear he was talented. Doku and Hisao would be seen playing in the yard dueling often under the watchful eye of his mother, the only other member of his family to manifest the bloodline.
It wasn't long before the two of them signed up to the ANBU and their training was placed in the hands of a man by the name of Yong. He taught them everything they knew and then betrayed the village. It was not surprising that suspicion turned on them by their fellow ninja. Doku fought hard to clear himself and his friend of this stigma and was able to prove himself in the ANBU corps when he was finally accepted. He fought hard and nobly protecting the village before the Samurai occupation took that away from him. Making the adjustment to living in Stone was hard for Doku and much of his time was spent away from the village on missions and doing what he can to ensure they could one day return home.
In his role as a protector of the village he used to like to travel and hunt those that have betrayed it whilst searching for his his old master. However his old master found his students first and they were reunited briefly. They even learnt of others that had trained with him, Myakashi Migoya and his disciple by the same name. They became a family and these were good times for Doku but of course this could not last. Whilst trying to show the leaders of the Leaf village how they had failed their people they were attacked and driven out of the village with only the clothes on their back. The family split up and tried to continue the fight each in their own way but they did not know that for some of them this would be the last time that they would see each other. Hisao and Yong senior both died in the village hiddin in leaves and Migoya faded into the wind and was never seen again. Doku himself managed to meet up with the young Yong and his children but it was only briefly. Gripped by grief it was not long before Doku also dissapeared into the hills seeking solitude...
