Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

As Kumomi entered the remains of the communications center she found everything just as it had been left when Toraono Kuro patched what little he could together to send out the final emergency message of an exit and an escape from the Cabal's bombs in the Throne of bone. The Communications Center, had once been called 'the Hive'. Metal, wires, crystal filaments, thick cables, and circuits were strewn everywhere amidst a strange remnant of crimson sand and electrocuted tendrils of physical mass, all wreckage, refuse, and seemingly unrepairable. It was from here that the Cabal had begun their efforts to destroy Suna by actually announcing their presence and holding the population hostage. Tiny sparks and surges of electrical current were still present here and there letting Kumomi know that something beneath the chamber still functioned. If she searched about carefully she might find something that the others had missed in their haste to prepare to leave the underground that had simply become a mining dungeon.

Kumomi approached the Communications Debris and as she entered she formed the "Tori" hand seal to begin to summon out her Nano-Mosquitos. As she entered the debris she saw sparks flying about and hot wiring. She let out a sigh as she lifted up her hands to send out hordes of Nano-Mosquitos. Hundreds of small wooden and metallic insects began to crawl around all of the debris attempting to find anything worthwhile. The girl looked around and realized that most of the debris here could probably be moved without damaging the structure itself. She made the "Tatsu" hand seal and summoned Nano-Wasps from underneath her chador to clear out some of the debris as the Nano-Mosquitos began to hunt down anything she could use. With a snap of her fingers she sent out hundreds of guided strikes to send the puppets into the debris and clearing more areas. She quickly turned as she sent hundreds of Micro-Puppets to clear and search the area. As she continued this she clapped her hands into the "Uma" hand seal and Nano-Beetles began to crawl from underneath her Chador as well. They began to hover around her, the chakra clockwork primed to protect her from any debris or back lashes from her excavation.

The chamber cleared up remarkably well as the signs of an intense energy battle were revealed. Something had used black lightning and black flames to subdue something that had it's remnants intermixed with the wiring all around the chamber. The sparks led to a series of chakra crystal conduits and cracked circuits that her micro puppets could easily repair if she had an engineer and some diagrams to direct her usage of her special talents. After clearing the majority of the debris and the remains of some creature's electrocuted and burnt out husk were found to still be in contact with and disrupting a master circuit. There were multiple striations on the floor and archaic wording that had been painted so as to label the placement of key items necessary for the function of the communications center. A large black iron grate was uncovered in the back of the chamber behind a set of panels and tables that had once carried functional radio equipment. Something was extremely offset with the room's design as if this chamber weren't being used for its original purpose.

The girl looked around, trying to find something that could be worth while. As of now she could only find a few things: a burning husk, a gate to a room with some panels and tables, and something that perked her interest. She saw some writing on the striations in the room. She grinned and made a few hand seals "Tori, Uchi" She placed her hand on the ground and from it a few caterpillars came forth and began to crawl towards the writings.

"Art of the Micro-Puppet: Caterpillar Copy Jutsu"<i></i>

A few caterpillars stopped closer while others made it to the further writings. Chakra began to surge from the puppets and blue ley lines began to appear in the room. Chakra replications of the words began to hover above the writing. She smiled as the words began to float towards the nearest caterpillars and began to lay on them, creating a chakra infused cocoon.

Once the jutsu was complete the young puppeteer walked around and picked up the cocoons and placed them in a pocket. She then walked over to the iron gate and checked to see if it was unlocked. If it was she would walk through it and search the room.

As the jutsu did its work she found the grate was rusted and partially welded shut from the other side. There were scratches in odd shapes that resembled someone clawing to get out that deeply gouged the stone. The words captured by the caterpillars were in runic terran. She couldn't read them and because they came from all over the chamber she reasoned they probably weren't in any set order. Still it wouldn't hurt to find someone who spoke runic terran to translate the writings she had found. It seemed odd to find it here even after all the explosions but then considering this script was etched in stone and the explosion had destroyed mostly only communication equipment. The space beneath the grate led straight down, it was dark and ominous as if it was an old feeding shaft or ventilation for something ancient and terrible.
