Character Age: 17
Gender: Female
Character's Physical Description:
Torachi stands at an average height for a teenage female and her build is much the same. Her short black hair which she cuts herself, badly, falls roughly to the middle of her neck and is always unkempt and wild. Her once white Hyuuga eyes have since been replaced with a dark monotone grey, accented by the dark bags sitting beneath them. Her body is quite feminine; her breasts standing out against her slender frame and slim waist suddenly flaring into her child baring hips catch the eyes of those interested. One of her most striking of features are the multitude of scars scattered about her body, most notably the large one across her throat and the dozens that cover her wrists. Second to those are the brands she has on the backs of both her hands, three wilted flowers inside of three hexagons, these are a mark of shame bestowed upon her by her former family. As for clothing, she tends to wear pastel or worn colours mostly, red being the most common form of that, she will never be seen however wearing short sleeves, always wearing the same black and white, hooped long sleeve shirt under anything that would reveal the scars on her wrists, she is also a fan of skirts and dresses.
Character's Mental Description:
Asocial: Once a chatty, cocky socialite you might be forgiven for mistaking her for a different person now. She long ago lost her confidence and became much more withdrawn in herself and tends to avoid as much human contact as she is able to, preferring to brood alone in her room though she does have one close friend who often tries to force her to socialize, often ends up in a lot of complaining on her part.
Pride: Despite what many would think after she was broken so spectacularly and tossed aside as if she was worthless, Tora never lost one thing about her old self and that was her pride. She can be easily goaded into showing off her skills as a shinobi when pressed. She still likes to train and practice her Hyuuga techniques despite being verbally forbidden to do so and she’s sworn that one day she will exceed every Hyuuga in history just to rub it in their faces.
Potty Mouth: being as quite as she now is, you would hardly expect the vocabulary of a sailor to come spewing forth from her mouth in the way it does. It is usually rather tame, though is angered or frustrated she will simply let the rage flow out of her mouth, she takes insults, joking or not very seriously so unless you want your ears to bleed profanity it’s probably best to keep her mellowed out.
Self-Harming: This is perhaps the most damning of her psychological issues. Stemming from the failure of her mission, being moments away from death, losing her eyes and being outcast from her family she fell into a deep depression and began to self-harm, rationalizing it as “just making sure I am alive.” Despite the help from her personal doctor the issue still goes unresolved and though the frequency has started to decline fresh cuts and bruising can often be found, when she isn’t covering it up.

Character History:
Torachi was born into one of the lesser familys of the Kyokuju clan and was the youngest of three siblings, the other two being male. Along with her two brothers, she began learning the Hyuuga fighting style, Jyuuken as soon as she was able to walk and whilst this was nothing unusual for a clan like the Hyuuga it became apparent very quickly that Tora was something special, having awoken her Byakugan so young and already able to beat both of her brothers who outmatched her experience and towered over her physically in every aspect without taking a single scratch. She would be quickly taken to the clans elders, her parents looking to use this “prodigy” as a springboard to take themselves higher among the familys and have more pull with them. The still extremely young girl was fawned upon by everyone after this point, compliments, well wishes, the clans future on her shoulders and as you’d expect she became a rather spoiled child with a superiority complex and a bad attitude.
At the age of six she was admitted into the academy, though younger than usually allowed her excessive skills were proof enough that she was ready. She certainly didn’t waste any time making enemies of the other students however, bragging incessantly about how she was the prodigy and she could beat any of them with her eyes closed, which she often did with the bolder students. The only “friends” the girl was able to make during her formative years were those that simply tailed her because they were scared of her and wanted to be on her good side. It took her a year to graduate to being a Genin and thanks to some pull from the Hyuuga elders she was fast tracked into the ANBU corps training program, believing it to be the greatest honour for a clan member to hold at the current time since they believed she would become nothing short of an ANBU captain and second in command to the Sennin which she certainly like the idea of.
Ego ever inflating with each complete mission, every defeated enemy, Tora was gaining quite a lot of infamy throughout the village and though it wasn’t all good she didn’t care because let’s face it, they all knew her name and that was enough to give her a lady boner. With over one hundred missions completed including a B-rank which was almost unprecedented for a Genin. At the age of nine she was welcomed into the ANBU corps as a full-fledged ANBU, skipping out on the AiT rank completely and just boosting her head to sizes an Akimichi would be intimidated by. She spent many good years with the corps, maturing a little but still maintaining her ego but most would argue with good reason, she was the first pick for most missions because of her eyes alone and had maintained a perfect record of successful missions. That was until the fateful day that would change her life in an impossibly fathomable way.
Somewhere at the foot of the Monumentum Deo hid a group of mercenaries that were involved in human trafficking, not only that but they had been known to capture and sell parts of specific ninja clans such as her own leading many to believe that they were the origin or the sudden boost of implanted eye cases around all the villages. To make matters a little more personal a member of the Kyokuju clan who had attempted to infiltrate the group had fallen off the radar and there was a lot of concern for their safety. Torachi was to be the leader of this mission and would be taking three other ANBU with her who not only were there for the mission but would also be assessing the girl for promotion to ANBU Captain at the age of twelve.
For three days the group tracked a couple of men they believed were involved with the mercenaries and on the night of the third day their hunch had paid off, they were led to a small cave entrance covered in foliage and snow, quite well hidden for an untrained eye. Not one to waste time Torachi led her team into the cave, moving slowly in through the darkness, the narrow corridor went on for a ways leading her to believe that when they finally came to an open cavern they were at the heart of the towering mountain. Upon entering the cavern they were met with pitch darkness, though that meant little to Torachi as she could already see the chakra of those attempting to ambush and would quickly dispatch of them in her teams stead. As the final foe fell a slow clapping noise would echo ahead of her and suddenly with a blinding flash the cave was illuminated revealing the horrors the darkness had hid. The clapping at the centre came from an overly large man, covered in scars, fresh and old with two smaller females next to him who seemed to be twins and had similar scars to him, he started by congratulating her for her skill but she could sense something in his voice, something she’d never felt quite so strongly before, pure evil. Just behind the man was what looked to be an operating theatre surrounded by dozons of cages, some of which contained people, most of whom were dead or dying from one thing or another.
The female twins were shortly ordered to deal with Tora and her team and it turned out that they were fast beyond anything she’d ever witnessed before, with deadly precision they annihilated her team and crippled her, applying poisoned senbon to vital points on her body including some of her Tenketsu. She was defeated, easily and quickly her conscious but lifeless body was dragged upon the bloody operating table where she would experience one of the worst pains imaginable as one of her eyes was expertly cut out. They were about to make for the second when somehow Torachis body started to move, her chakra was pulsing so hard that a white mist was starting to form around her as she attempted to get away, though during the struggle she managed damage her remaining eye, blinding her completely as she attempted to blindly make her way out of the cave having a basic idea of where the corridor was. The three strange mercenaries did not pursue her, perhaps because they were impressed by what they saw in the girl managing to move or maybe they simply had no more use for her, they’d taken one eye and the other had been damaged far beyond healing and thus she was useless to them now, even as a body to sell.
For one week the girl would crawl and stagger toward the village blindly before a recon team who had been sent out to look for them located her. Though relived to have been found, she would soon be wishing she had been killed in that cave. Due to the loss of her eye to an enemy she was demoted from the ANBU to a mere AiT, expected to prove herself from the very beginning again is she was to have any hope of returning to her previous rank. The loss also greatly embarrassed her family and clan, disowned by her parents and brothers and branded as a traitor, having the mark of three wilting flowers permanently marked on the backs of both her hands, she was also forbade from using the clans fighting techniques, having squandered them so brilliantly. Of course after being used to having such an easy life, treating people like trash because she simply felt better than them and generally being a colossal ass hat, she was now alone, scared and quickly fell into a depression.
The only fortunate thing to happen to her after being brought back to the village was being able to meet a certain doctor, Shinrya Kitsune who despite the fact that Torachi had pretty much given up would help to restore her sight with a lengthy eye transplant operation. Of course these eyes were normal, the Hyuuga not willing to offer any transplants and even forbidding anyone from giving them to her. For the next few years of her life the girl had no contact with the outside world, confining herself to her tiny, dark and dingy apartment with her only outside contact being from the very doctor that saved her from being blind, though she wasn’t very appreciative to the woman out loud and often just spent all the time they were together screaming expletives at her as she attempted to heal the self-harming the girl had visited upon herself. Slowly Tora would begin to truly trust Kitsune and was able to hold somewhat normal conversations with her and even began to train again, though still it was a rarity for her to leave the apartment.
Though still young Torachis personality had been moulded from what it once was by a lifetimes worth of pain and anguish leaving her a shell of her former self and one that she needed help breaking out of despite her pride stopping her asking for said help. Broken but proud, beaten but back to reality, perhaps this new chapter will take her beyond the bratty prodigy she was forced to accept she was…
