Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"This is gonna take some getting used to."

The office was unlike her old tucked away in the underground complex. It was more spacious and things had been prepared in order for her to take the role effective immediatly. In the corner, there was a rack that held her old battered ANBU vest and mask that had bore the brunt of many battles and it had finally come time to hang that uniform up. It was a hallmark of her previous tenure and it served as a stark reminder to her of the many things she had overcome to get to this point as the woman exhaled a sigh glancing already at the various files and documents that were awaiteing her on the desk. Right, she had forgotten the painstaking tasks of just what exactly it meant to keep a branch running as she settled into the chair flipping through the contents before she spared a glance through the window. Yes, this most certainly was going to take some getting used to after all.

At least she was busy and perhaps a bit closer to Asuka, that much caused a smile to linger on her face. It was time to meet the new faces and that was the first order of buisness after all as Soku tapped the silver bell that sat and the door swung open as a green-vested Chuunin waltzed in. "Your request, Soku-sama?" Hastily scribbling down a note, she slid it across to the shinobi. "This summons is for the Headmaster. Tell him he is requested here at his earliest convenience." She said and without a moment's hesitation, the man slipped out of the room letter in hand off to find her right-hand man whom she would be working with. She had to give credit to Takeshi and Asuka, they had really pulled their weight with this one and she had a lot of expectations to live up to.

She still smiled remembering when the news had arrived at the Santaru clan estate. Nibachi had burst in heads over heels waving the offical document nearly shredding it to pieces if she had not grabbed it. For a moment, Soku had to comprehend what was happening but it was all very real. The chance to have an impact on the future of shinobi and to ensure they did not go through the same things that her own eyes had saw was not a chance the Sennin was going to pass up. The Sennin title still felt so strange, so foreign after having served in the ANBU for so long, transitioning to the Main Branch which was prone to more public eyes, it was certainly an change of pace especially coming from an organization which thrived in the shadows. Still, it had passed down some valuable life lessons and those were lessons she intended to implement. "Now, we play the waiting game. " The woman mumured clasping her hands together eyeing the doorway wondering how this meeting was going to go. She'd never set eyes on the jounin who ran the Academy but they were surely a capable individual considering the quality of genin that had been put out recently.

His aura preceded him, if it was felt at all - a low level thrum of a disturbing demonic origin, a mild discomfort at best as if it were held in check for use against true enemies. The sound of his arrival was the light but solid click of well made oxford shoes, and when he entered the office he wore what amounted to casual wear for him; three piece suit of a complimenting black-on-blue design, the suit itself pinstriped while the vest and shirt beneath were alternating in solid colors. His studied the Sennin for a heartbeat, his expression one of a detached neutrality that seemed almost clinically observant of his surroundings, and he gave her a respectful nod as he cleared his throat.

"Congratulations on the promotion. You asked to see me?" His tone was as direct and straightforward as his expression might suggest it would have been, and despite the air of an aloof nature that he may have given off he seemed to follow protocol to a tee, remaining where he stood rather than taking a seat just yet.

His garb was the first thing that caught her attention tilting her head up to briefly take in the suit and the colors it screamed. It was a far cry from the tradional robes Soku opted for such as the white ones with a silver trim in this instance with the Konohgakure logo emblazoned on the back and a small golden leaf pinned onto the front as the Sennin nodded a greeting to the man. "Thank you. Do come in, have a seat." A indication was made towards the two polished wooden chairs that faced her desk as Soku studied the headmaster resting her elbows on her side of the table, fingers clasped thoughts running through her head. She was not privy to what converstations Takeshi had with Hama but she trusted him. The Yondaime Hokage was not one that had ever failed to deliver and he had done his best to make sure Soku had a smooth and running branch when she had accepted the role and the kunoichi would not be any different in that regard.

"So.." Soku started as if wondering where to start. "I know Takeshi-sama assigned you the responsibilty of overlooking the Academy and making sure our younger generation is being diligent in their studies and practices." It certainly showed from the many students she had taught over the years, their Academy was one of the things the village was proud of, there were many success stories that had originated from there, too many to count on both her hands. "Nothing has changed in this regard. You will continue those same responsibilites and I will expect at the very least monthly reports on the general state of the Academy, student progress, budget, staff load, you get the jist." She understood that it was a very vital role and that the Academy was the starting roots for many people that suppored the village, perhaps that was why it was one of the more core functions she stressed over more than other but she had faith. If Takeshi trusted Hama, she would as well.

Shuffling some of the papers aside on her desk that had already begun piling up, they really did waste no time in overloading your desk with files and reports. It was almost as if the documents had been waiting for her to enter so they could make themselves known which they had much to Soku's regret. She opened her mouth before a realization came to her and the woman shook her head almost as if wondering how on earth she had forgotten about one particular fact. "Ah, yes, I appeared to have forgotten introductions, haven't I?" She would blame it on the first day jitters, you tended to do things you normally would not and tis was one of them. "Nanjirou Soku, head of the Santaru clan and former ANBU Captain." A pause and then -"I must say however your face is a new one to me, how long have you been with us?"
