Walking through the hall heading to Hokages Monument a lone shinobi was standing atop of the overlook patiently waiting as Reoku approached, Reoku made eye contact and handed this shinobi a scroll with his mission directive and was handed back the message he was to deliver, afterwards Reoku waved and in a bloom of fire and ash slips out from view similar to a ninja vanish technique, heading towards the gates to leave the village Reoku started to ponder situations he might arrive into and the obstacles that might impede his way.
'So, Bandits.. no problem, Rogue shinobi.. slight problem, Brisnger acting up.. big problem...' as Reoku said the burning in his neck and back became apparent as his guest heard his remark and make Reokus body uncomfortable, a slight sliver of fire and smoke trailed Reoku as he used his chakra to increase his pace as he leap from tree to tree in an effort to get to the border in easy measure of time.

Taking a break on nearby branch a few minutes from valley of the end, Reoku overheard voice ahead and decided to stop and investigate, they were loud bunch easily being heard from a long distance away, 'Damn fools are gunna get themselves killed', A team of Genin and a Chuunin leader was making they're way to the village when the boasting from one of the Genin was becoming overwhelming as he was painting a target on they're heads... Jumping down a few feet from them Reoku made his allegance clear as he brandished his Leaf headband in plain view.
"Sorry guys, but if you keep that up your going to get targeted. you shouldnt be so loud around here at this time of night" Reoku said as he made eye contact with the team leader, the Genin stopped as they were startled but chuunin leader looked at Reoku with a devilish grin, and replied..
"Well, seems our little ploy attracted a fresh playmate, Boys get him." the Chunnin said as a puff of smoke emerged and garbs of that of mercenaries displaced the previous clothing of the transformation and 4 adult Merc's lunged at Reoku suddenly while a few traps fired off in Reokus direction.
Observing the situation Reoku decided now was not a time to play conservative and Ignited his Cloak of flames at max power, and entered Alpha jinchuriki cloak mode on top of his cloak of flames, giving off a double aura that incinerated the shuriken and kunai traps that were deployed towards Reoku at the same time doing same thing to kunai and other projectiles that the 4 merc's threw at Reoku.
"Im only gunna give you 1 chance, give up or be reduced to ash" Reoku said as he felt his instincts begin to take over as the larger of the 4 mercs struck Reoku square in the face and threw him into a tree. "And your done." Reoku said as he poured chakra into his right fist and conjured up a dragon head over his fist and lunged at the one who hit him and exploded him into nearby rock pile utterly defeated in a single shot.
Standing straight up Reoku looked at the other three who were not paralyzed by the feat of strength displayed infront of them, Reoku taking initiative spoke quickly "You each have a chance, his was taken.. but you can all surrender" the 3 remaining mercs looked at themselves as they shook of the paralytic effect of the fear they were instilled with and all formed seals, Reoku noticed quickly that two were suiton and one fuuton, water and wind... 'Great, just great' Reoku said as he struck the ground and a wall of flame erupted from the earth and blocked a line of sight between the combatants, taking his moment Reoku lept backwards towards the trees and quickly made a effort to flank them, while the 3 mercs blasted the wall of flame with they're combination attack that obliterated the conjured wall, but Reoku was ready... Jumping from behind Reoku landed right behind them and blasted all 3 away with a multi-headed dragon fist that exploded violently into nearby trees and rocks.
All 4 mercs were knocked unconscious and were laid against the nearby rock bed as Reoku inscribed a powerful Combustive seal on all of they're chests, that was going to ignited and explode if they tried to mold any chakra.
Taking his leave Reoku jumped into air and began rest of his mission, uninterrupted as it would seem as he sprung a trap that would of likely taken the life of someone unprepared, Arriving at the meet up Reoku spotted his mark and dropped beside the shinobi,
"Lifes complicated" Reoku said as it was his cord word, "So is politics" to which the other Shinobi replied, both exchanged scrolls and both departed in opposite directions.
'Well guess all I have to do is turn in those fools' Reoku thought as he headed back to the forest where he was attacked and brought them back to village.
