[Chigokai Yuna]

Yuna would shortly make her way to the Torre Empirea, and think through what to say as she would scale the tower. There would be much to talk about and no doubt Miro would want the report of her visit in Sand as well. But with something as her mission that involved both assassination and diplomacy, this is something that would need the Raikage's explicit knowledge. And whilst Yuna was able to keep the alliance between Sand and Cloud, she did fail her assassination mission in killing Akkuma. Which is ironically the very reason for why this alliance is still standing.

Most of what she will be telling the Raikage will be a lot of new information that will need to be taken all in. Eventually, she would reach the doors to the Raikage's office. The ANBU operative was still in her returning to Cloud ANBU attire, warm clothing with a plain anbu mask. The receptionist most likely had already informed the Raikage of the anbu operative, Nereid coming to inform her of a mission of great importance. Yuna would take a deep breath before knocking on the door, giving three formal raps and waiting for the command to enter.

[Shinrya Kitsune]

Kitsune sat at her desk, sorting out what she needed to do for the coming bit of time. She'd finally mowed through the mountain of paperwork - mostly by delegating - and now only had a few more things on her list. But as she was about to get out of her chair, and the office, she was informed of an ANBU operative coming to see her. She had seen a report that Nereid had returned from Sand, and she was expecting her to drop by and report on her mission. She just hadn't expected it to be right this moment. Ah well.

She sat back down and waited for the operative to knock on the door. She was curious to hear how the mission went, and what Nereid had to say about it, so when the knock came, she called out, "Come in." and waited for Yuna to enter. Once inside, Kitsune would gesture for Yuna to take a seat across from her, and then ask, "How did the mission go?" She was eager to hear the details, and to see how Nereid was doing. She had been gone for a while, and Kitsune was curious to see how she was doing. She had presumably been through a lot, and Kitsune wanted to hear what'd happened on the mission.

Yuna would sit down as the seat was offered to her. Her head bowed down as the Raikage asked her about the mission. "The mission... It was both a success and failure..." She would take a deep breath. "The diplomatic side of things went good with the few exceptions of certain events happening. And one of those events happening pertains to the assassination target, Mirokou Akkuma."

Yuna would pause once more to let it sink in before she would continue on. "To have the full understanding of all that has happened, I will give you some prerequisite information. One, a little bit after me and Alpha had shown up in Sand, there was an event to determine who would be the next Sennin through a competition of sorts. Two, the Eleventh Kazekage had disappeared during the second part of the Games, and someone else had filled the role, being the twelfth Kazekage, Chikamatsu Shin. Now, going on with this information, I will give you the full rundown from start to finish of my time in Sand. When me and Alpha first entered Wind Country, we were first met by Akkuma, who claims to have gained his influence by having a huge network of information. He had mentioned multiple things such as the Fifth Hokage being married to a missing ninja along with the Sennin Games that Raizo, the eleventh Kazekage, had hosted."

She would take a deep breath before continuing, "When we arrived in Sand, we were met by Raizo. As at first, our intentions were to break alliance, and given our reasonings with the talk of Ancients of Sunagakure, he had brought us to his office and informed us much of Sands history along with his thoughts of the framing. We had all thought the same thing. Akkuma was the one that was behind the order of Myakashi Kiko. Alpha went back here to Cloud, whilst I stayed behind to gather information and participate in these Games to keep an eye on Akkuma. On my second time visiting the Kazekage, Raizo, after you had sent the message for the kill order and to make negotiations, we had talked about potential co-conspirators."

The anbu agent would bring out her BINGO book and flip it open to show Kiko. "Kiko, or rather Myakashi Kiko. Part of the Myakashi clan." She would flip the page and start naming off names that were relevant to what she was trying to get at. "Myakashi Migoya, Hakanai Hisao, Kazumaki Doku, Myakashi Yong, all for treason against Konoha. All of this seemed like a long time ago, before my career as an anbu, but two of these names stand out. Myakashi Migoya and Myakashi Yong. It would seem that this Myakashi Clan is something that needs to be wary of and if need be, exterminated."

Pocketing her BINGO book, she would continue, "During the first part of the Sennin Games, I attempted to pull information from its source and determine if it is true or not." She would blink and a snapshot would show a recording of her meeting with Akkuma. Once it was done, she spoke up once more. "He had claimed that he had made that order to test to see who Sunagakure's true allies were. Kiko is his harbinger and he has a child that is living abroad along with talking about how a future with him as a leader would prove beneficial for not just Sand, but the world as well."

Letting out a sigh, she would go on to talk more, "Onto the second part of the Games... It was cut off shortly upon the absence of Raizo. Shortly afterwards, Chikamatsu Shin was anointed the twelfth Kazekage title, Akkuma Sennin of International affairs. And one of quite surprise, the Fifth Hokage, Uchiha Asuka, is now the Sand Sennin of Education. Shortly after this took place, I approached Kazekage Shin and have given him the same information that I have given you up to this point. And given Akkuma's sudden rise to power, I had to rethink the situation to try and keep the peace between the two nations."

"He had said that he will look personally into the matter, but if he finds no malice in Akkuma, he plans on using him to be a servant of sort for the two nations. There are conditions that I had talked with him about. all times that Akkuma finds himself in Cloud, he will be with two Jounin level Sand ninja along with our own. These Sand Ninja will be informed of the situation surrounding him to make the best call for both nations, and if helping eliminate him is the course of action, that is what they should do. Along with that, if Akkuma is to be sent out to Cloud, a message must be sent first in order for the upper chain of command to understand and be ready for his appearance to make sure that he doesn't try anything. Along with that Kazekage Shin was made aware of the Myakashi Clan and he plans to also look into them but more so into Kiko should the Clan find themselves in Sand."

She would lean back and say, "My apologies on not fulfilling the assassination part of the mission. I had thought of the alliance between the two nations would be greater than the death of Akkuma. I have also felt that with his rise to Sennin, if I had killed him, it would have caused damage to the alliance or even destroyed it. But if we can't strike Akkuma down..."

She brought out her BINGO book again, "We can at least make sure that this Myakashi Clan that Akkuma is using, or at the very least, Kiko, can pay for her crimes."

Kitsune listened intently to Yuna's debriefing, nodding at times that seemed appropriate. "So, to summarize. The source of our trouble, is now part of the leadership of the village we originally wanted to sever ties with due to an attack on our ally, and will apparently be coming to Cloud escorted by 2 jounin." she said, running a hand through her mane of fiery red hair.
"And to top that off, this Akkuma is using a clan called Myakashi to perpetrate crimes across the world, including the attack on our gates by Kiko." she added afterwards, sighing. This would get messy...

"Well, I have something to inform you of, as well. Alpha has stepped down from her position. And that leaves me in quite the conundrum. Or should I say, it leaves you in a conundrum. Because I'm going to promote you to the position of ANBU Sennin." Kitsune said as if it were a matter of fact. She wouldn't take no for an answer. "And my first task for you, as my new ANBU Sennin, is to put the Myakashi Clan in the bingo book, and inform Leaf of their actions. Next thing would be to get the branch in order. Make whichever changes you feel are required. And dismantle the off the books operation Alpha set up. I've seen reports of prisoners being abused as slave labor. This will not stand."

Yuna would nod when the Raikage had summarized what she had said to her. But after that, her world turned upside down. Alpha, Miro, had stepped down from the Sennin position. And in the same breath, Kitsune hadd said that she was promoting Yuna to ANBU Sennin. Yuna was about to speak up when Kitsune had given her a number of tasks to complete as the new ANBU Sennin. From making the whole Myakashi Clan an enemy of Cloud, and not just Kiko, Migoya, and Yong, to informing Leaf on the matter. Rebuild the Branch the way she sees fit, along with get rid of the operations that Miro had set up. Slave labor... She had different views from Miro, but she didn't think that her Sennin was that far gone.

She would stand up and bow to Kitsune, "Understood. Is there anything else I should be made aware of?"

At being asked if there was anything else she needed to know, Kitsune sighed and nodded. "There is... One more thing," she said, and paused, affixing her gaze upon Yuna, "Your father, Ziren, was kidnapped by revolutionists. And died fighting them. I'm sorry." she finished solemnly. She didn't know how the relationship between the two had been, but surely nobody wanted to hear that their parent had perished. Not even superpowered near-invincible killing machines.

"I know it isn't the piece of news anyone wants to get, so if you need or want to take some time to process and grief, that's perfectly fine." Kitsune said, full well understanding how the mind needed time to process disruptive information. "In any case. Once you've unravelled the off-the-books operation Alpha had going, please make an exhaustive report on anything of interest you find. Especially if there's a paper record of her actions." Kitsune said to her new ANBU Sennin. "Do you have any questions, comments, or things to say?" she asked, ready to wrap up the debriefing.

Yuna waited and listened as Kitsune spoke once more. This time... her heart dropped. She felt a pain in her chest, but it wasn't something that could be very easily explained, even by medical means. Tears would well up beneath her mask, and her vision blackened, yet she heard it all. Revolutionists... Part of her wants to erase them from existence. Her fists clenched as she tried to focus. The ANBU would bite her lower lip. There will be time to grieve later... Unfortunately for her, she has work to do now, and she doubts her father would want to see her wallow in sadness over his death.

She forced herself to listen to what else the Raikage had to say. Make a report on anything else regarding Miro and her... hobby outside of work. Upon being asked if she had anything to say, questions, comments or other, Yuna merely shook her head. There was a lot to wrap her head around, and thinks anymore might just be too much for her brain for the time being. She'll definitely need to make a list to check things off, along with trying to get her personal life in order with this new ugly information.

Kitsune nodded "Alright then." she said, folding her hands on the table, "Then I'll let you go do what you need to do. If you ever feel yourself turning to the darkness, do call out to me. I'm not just your Commander in Chief, I'm also a pretty good therapist." she said, giving Yuna an offer to talk things over if she ever felt like it. Kitsune didn't want a repeat of Miro, where the darkness in her kept festering until she not only built an illegal operation, but even stooped to using slave labor. Not happening again. Not ever.

"Oh, and you should go requisition a new communicator from the tech boys." she said, handing Yuna a piece of paper with the Raikage seal on it. It'd allow her to get a new phone keyed in to the systems available to Sennin and below. It would, of course, also have even more hardened security compared to the regular ones issued. Kitsune then sent Yuna on her way, and returned to the more humdrum paperwork that now needed to be done.

Yuna would bow to the Raikage before saying, "Thank you for having me, Kitsune-sama." She would take the paper with the Raikage seal and then take her leave. As she closed the door behind her, Yuna let out a sigh... She really now has a whole lot on her plate, and just when she thought she might get a break after her time in Sand.
