Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

I walked up to the gates with my battered hand in the air. "Someone let me in." I called out, scanning the faces for any that seemed familiar to me. I tapped my foot impatiently. "I didn't put you all through that training for nothing now, get your hairy ass over here and handle this infernal duty we are paid for. Seriously, talk about a waste of tax money." I grunted with laughter thinking to the utter lack of stopping power we could even provide at the gates.

Somewhat harried looking, Hikari trotted along the wall. She'd been ignoring a seemingly small problem for too long and it'd come to bite her in the butt. As she reached the gates, she noted a deplorable lack of people doing their jobs. "Someone let me in." A familiar voice called from the other side. "I didn't put you all through that training for nothing now, get your hairy ass over here and handle this infernal duty we are paid for. Seriously, talk about a waste of tax money."

Hikari leaned over the wall, and smirked, her hair falling into her face as she did so. "A waste of tax money indeed! Where is everyone, I wonder." Hikari chuckled. "Long time no see, Gate Captain. Why is it, someone else has to let you in? That seems silly to me." She said. "You got your paperwork- er, the passport? I'll let you in." She said, going to open the gates.

"Hikari?" I said looking up to the main of orange. That soulless ginger was staring at me again, I could feel Fukuzatsuna as if he was tried to hide from her soul stealing powers.

"The fuck have you been? We're supposed to work together here at the gates and I haven't seen you for what feels like months, literally!" I exclaimed, tossing my passport to her in a foul mood. After my little escapade in the mountains, I was unsure what might happened to me back in the village. I had gone on ahead of the group after leaving the ship, I wanted some time to think about this.

Hikari coughed, "Yeah, well, about that. I've had issues. Grandma's been sick. I took leave. You're looking like something shit on you." She caught the passport and glanced at the information. "Seems legit. Welcome home." She said, opening up the gates. "I'll try to be about more often." She hesitated, he really did look like hell. "You OK?" Something seemed strange with him. It was definitely Zaku. His bad attitude was proof enough of that. The blond man was nearly always cross with her.

He walked towards the gates in a rather lax pace, as if this duty or job of keeping the gates were just another breath released from his mouths. Hyoujin walked with his companion, Akarui, perched upon his right shoulder wearing a light pink dress with white trim. To someone who wasn't Chief or above in the medical field, they thought of her as daughter or sister of Hyoujin. Little did they know that the two were one in the same, a mere puppet controlled by a mind of higher clarity and thought than any human could understand. Hyoujin himself, wore an expensive white suit that was paired with a violet tie adorned with cuff-links of gold with emerald gems in the middle of each. His red hair flowed freely reaching down near his lower back which seemed to sway in the wind. On five of his ten finders he wore an assortment of expensive rings of gold and silver with different gems in each.

He arrived there a little too late it seemed, the breath drew short from his mouth as one beat him and Arakui to the gates to let in a peon. He stood there silently behind the orange-red haired girl and watched the event unfold with a passive look upon his face. Arakui seemed to be unusually quiet.

"Never felt better, right as rain! Thanks much!" I said and bade her a quick farewell wave. There seemed to be an individual who was watching to the side, but without any interaction I would be on my way. Some serious training was going to be soon to follow, cause I needed to learn the limits of this new gift (curse) that had been given to me.

"Hey, kid, where do you think you're going?" Hyoujin said as Arakui snapped her fingers, a small portal appeared below her from her perch of Hyoujin's shoulders and she gently jumped down and appeared from the other end in front of the boy.

"Hiya! Can I sees your pwassport pwease?" She said her sweet, bubbly voice looking up at Zaku with her giant blue eyes, how could someone say no to something so cute? She threw in a smile as well to add icing to the cake.

Hyoujin stood there with his arms crossed still, waiting for the boy to give over the passport.

[Stopping Zaku.]

"Uh what?"

I looked at this man with a look that said 'Are you serious?'

"Well I suppose you could, even though I already was processed." I responded, handing the small girl my passport.

"Who are you guys, I don't recognize you from the regulars who work under my command?" I then inquired, they appeared to be new to the gate duty. Probably got assigned while I was away on mission.

Arakui took the passport with her small hands and looked through it. "My name is Arakwee. It's nice to meet you, um..." She looked down at the name on the paper again, "Ishweekawa Zaku!" She said as she looked up at the boy and smiled with the biggest, brightest smile she could muster. Hyoujin silently crept up behind her and snatched up the passport from her hands. "Hey! Hyou-chan you can't..." She was cut off as he pushed her head with his other hand causing her to fall towards the ground. The girl was quick, however, and snapped her fingers again and appeared on top of his shoulders again, this time she was sitting on both shoulders pulling at his hair lightly with an agitated look on her face. As she did this, he looked over the passport.

"Ishikawa Zaku. Chuunin, Male, age 14." He scanned over the passport on non-important details, just in case, and then tossed it back to Zaku. "Report to whoever it is you're supposed to for your mission." He turned around and begun to walk away from the gates, back towards for the village, stopping for a second to turn back around for a moment. "I go where I please, I don't really have anyone I answer to but the Raikage himself." He turned back towards the village Arakui turned around to see Zaku the best she could and smiled at him and waved her hand goodbye before snapping her fingers for a third and final time, making the two disappear into the void.

I watched as the tiny one took my passport. She had a speech impediment that made her irresistibly cute, but how these two were connected was still a mystery. But in an instant after the confiscation, the small child was on top of the mans shoulders again. Brother perhaps, or uncle? I couldn't really place it. Not that it mattered.

He spoke, and began to walk away only to add on information that helped me little with what I needed to know. "Well he isn't one of the sennin, so that can't be true. Better have a word with Masao about this when I go in for debrief. I don't want people I don't trust working my gates." I thought to myself with a confident nod. Plus! He never even went through that damn training I made all the nitwits endure. Yes this would not do!

I took to my feet and left quickly, heading home for a warm bed and a hot meal.
