Nagisa had a knack for ninjutsu. It seemed to be in her blood. However, she had noticed that she gravitated towards her water jutsu. At first, it was subtle things that clued her in. Most kids hated the rain but Nagisa loved it. In fact, if they were in a dry spell, Nagisa would feel drained and demanded in her own way a time to relax in the pool to recharge. As she become an academy student, water ninjutsu was her natural talent. Soon, she could do things with water jutsu that others could not, not even the instructors! In a medical ninjutsu class she was even able to heal minor wounds with just water. The medical shinobi were impressed enough to invite her to the medical branch. As she continues her training, she could make water jutsu more powerful by increasing the pressure or could spread it out. Water was very malleable that way and Nagisa seemed to be able to tap into it easier than others. One time, while still practicing, she flooded a small classroom because she put a little too much power into it. She was scolded something fierce but she felt she could do it next time and that she should do it outdoors next to a river just to be certain she would not get yelled at again. In a mission when she was a genin, she was able to help the party get back to leaf safety because she found a river and was able to use the river to heal her allies, who were exhausted after a tough mission. As a medical chief, she has written a thesis on why water could be used as a healing substance. With minimal success she tried to teach others how to heal with water but it turned out it was just something she was born with. While it was mostly a failure, it did highlight her ability to heal and impressed others who did not know about her natural ability. Nagisa thanked the stars that she had worked hard with water ninjutsu otherwise she would not be where she was now.

Character's Physical Description: Nagisa is a slender women with black hair that is kept up in a mixture of braids and a ponytail. She has blue eyes that while kind can turn into orbs of the rampaging sea as she glares at those that cross her. She normally wears a sleeveless blue shirt and a set of baggy blue pants. On her arms, she wears garments that stretch from her palms to her elbows. She normally leaves her Sennin robes off and if wearing anything additional, she is wearing a white lab coat while working.
Character's Mental Description: Nagisa is a kind soul. Being from a long line of healers, she wants to help. However she forms strong bonds with people and if crossed, she becomes almost spiteful in her response to those that cross her. She has been called The Eye of the Hurricane when she is crossed. She is distant form her family and only trusts a few. She is a loner for the most part due to family trying to… let us say purify her.

Character History: Nagisa was born and raised in Leaf. Her clan had been in leaf during the reclaiming of it but none in the family were shinobi. Thankfully, Nagisa showed her inclinations towards chakra after that war and began to train. Her natural affinity towards water jutsu helped her pass her genin exam rather well. Her natural affinity helped her in medical classes and soon she could turn her very affinity into healing. She became a medical ninja after a short stint in the main branch as a genin. She climbed ranks until she was a full medical shinobi. She had a …let’s say a falling out with a portion of her family and distances herself from them. Still, she fights for her home and her new family. Her medical branch is her family. She has been nominated recently to being Medical Sennin. She hopes she will do her family proud. She is an accomplished fighter. Very few have seen The Eye of the Hurricane in action and lived to tell the tale.

What is Limbo Training?
This is the training that you would have gotten if you did not move on to your new character's life. Your caps are determined by your rebirthed stats. You must keep a record of your stats gained during limbo in your OCR thread. You may NOT request for an automatic rank up should you find that your new stats allow you to upgrade. Limbo training is only for people who have died in modded combat or suicide. Anyone whose character has not died is still capable of RPing that character until their OCR is finalized, and thus can train as normal.

Arc 1: What Ails You

Nagisa rubbed her eyes. It was early in the morning and her family had sent a letter to her to request her aid. Apparently, there was an illness going on in a small town and to see if she could go check it out. As she got dressed, she went over basic remedies for ailments. So many ailments she wished she had studied more off. Well that was the life of a medic. You dealt with what were you given. Sometimes you had everything on hand and sometimes you had to improvise.

Nagisa headed out of the village on her own. She was one of the more talented healers who, in a pinch, would only need some water to heal those that needed healing. As she rode, she made sure to mentally go through her list of supplies. Yes, she would arrive the village and be able to stay a week. Hopefully, it did not take too long. She was to meet a cousin, Himemo. He was more of an exorcist than a healer but he dabbled in the healing arts. Nagisa was not close to this part of the family but they occasionally had family meals together.

She arrived in 2 days’ time to find that the small village, located on a beachside was looking miserable. Rain deluged the area and the street was nearly flooded in places. She did not wear her cloak. Water was her element and the rain always made her feel refreshed. However, something about this rain made her feel sad, like it was a rain of teardrops. She headed towards the shine her cousin worked at and found him stan8ing outside. He wore a cloak but was stern looking. He was bald with prominent eyebrows and taller than herself. He looked imposing and it did not help that he was sneering at her as she approached.
“You will get sick cousin” he said as he watched her dismount.
“It will take more than a simple rain to make me sick, cousin.” She replied her voice cool. “Now will you finally explain why you needed my help?”

He looked her sharply, those brown eyes flashing dangerously, but he decided to not snap at her and lead their way into the small shrine. It was a single-story building made of wood and stone. The shrine was to the ocean which was often used to pray for safe passage. The set up was simple a small tablet located behind a large basin of salt water that was purified every sunrise, something her cousin did without fail every morning. He gestured to some floor cushions and she lowered herself upon one and waited for him to sit as well.
“Your help is needed because the source of this illness is something beyond my power. This rain has been going on for months. Citizens are getting water logged and the village is crawling towards a stop.”
Nagisa placed a finger at the corner of her mouth, biting on a nail. Unlady like but she was thinking.
“So you know when it started… or mayhaps the reason why?”
He shifted for a moment It did not go unnoticed.
“A ship on its return sank. One of the passengers of the ship was a recently married man. His wife… widow watched the ship go down and tried to save him but the storm was too great. Since this time, a rain has come and not left. Many in the village are blaming the widow, claiming she is a witch or a devil summoner. The only thing I know is that she has not been seen except in passing. Some have knocked n her door but find it locked. Children mostly say they see her and she scares them by running towards them. Tall tales but enough to stir the gossip. People are getting sick. You can help them and maybe you can clean up the mess in the village. You are more powerful than I.”
He was silent. Nagisa looked at him. For him to admit defeat was a bit shocking, He was usually very competent if not a little arrogant. Still, this was an issue.
“I have some remedies in my backpack. You can distribute them. I will go tonight to see this house.”
“Tonight? That is so soon. Wait until morning”
“I am not afraid of the dark nor the rain cousin. I am simply looking around.”
She rose and found herself walking up a rain-soaked road. It was almost all mug but she did not mind. Truly, mud was just liquid earth. The house she was looking for, as told by her delightful cousin, was a double story house looking over the cliff to the ocean. She found it easily enough. It was a dreary looking house. It was painted a deep blue but the rain had caused the paint to peel and what blue was left was turned almost black by the saturation. A couple of trees stood around the area were weighed down from the rain and their branches were drooping. Nagisa almost felt sad for the house and trees. It had been a nice-looking house.

She approached the door and knocked. There was no answer. This was not surprising. She ever so carefully placed a hand to the door. She manipulated the water in the door and on the door, which was done with the help of the rain to slowly move the locks holding the door in place. It took a few minutes before it clicked open. As she entered, she lit a small candle. The house seemed empty until a sound interrupted her thoughts. There was a clanging of what seemed pots. She ducked down and slowly crept towards the sound, equipping her Surgeon’s Glove, a gauntlet that reached up to her elbow made of a pitch black material. It held a little surprise for those that chose to engage her in close quarters.

She crept down the hallway to find that another noise reached her ears. It was singing… and crying. It was a sorrowful sound. Taking a steadying breath, she spun around the corner to find a woman with dark blue hair staring at her. Her large eyes were wet with tears and see was setting out a meal for 2. A fire crackled merrily in the hearth. Nagisa had not seen smoke coming from this house form the outside. What was going on.
“Oh I am sorry. I did not hear you come in. Will you wait for my darling husband to arrive? He should be coming” The woman smiled despite her wet eyes. She was wearing an apron and cooking merrily enough with a smile that did not quite reach her eyes.
Nagisa was disarmed. What was going on?
“I am Nagisa. I am sorry for intruding. Who are you?”

“I am Shizue. Please sit I will make a 3rd plate for you. He should be arriving by ship in the morning. I know it is raining something awful but it should be ok. You can even stay here if you want. The master bedroom is for us but we have a guest room on the second floor. It is a little dusty. We just got this house and had not had any guests yet. You will be our first.” Shizue said that smile not reaching her eyes.

“I… I will have your food and stay the night. I can’t wait to meet your husband.” Nagisa said as certainly as she could manage. It was enough for Shizue who put a new plate in front of her.
The food was a simple ramen.
“I am sorry we don’t have much on the way of food. This house and our wedding caused us to be almost broke. But when he comes back we should have a business deal. Oh tomorrow looks like a good day indeed. Please eat.”
Nagisa looked around. Inside, the house was still decent looking but she could tell where watersports were starting to form. The constant rain was not good for this structure. Her host did not seem to notice.

After their meal, which was spent eating. The small talk that passed between them was simple. Shizue explained her simple home life. Nagisa explained her family. Shizue laughed and understood where she was coming from.
“Oh my family was a large one. Never went to become a shinobi but every branch has their agenda. I just wanted to be happy with my own life, ya know? I finally got it. Now my life can really begin.”
Nagisa coughed and placed her chopsticks down.
“I am tired. Where is the room I should go to?”
Shizue got up and showed Nagisa the room. The room was almost barren except for a simple closet and a bed.
“Let me know if you need anything” I will be going to bed shortly. Have a good night.”

Nagisa laid in the bed which was not surprisingly a little damp.
As she closed her eyes, she heard Shizue begging to cry. Nagisa would creep to her door and see what the matter was. All she saw was the back of Shizue as she looked out the window at the end of the hallway. She was crying and crying. Softly as she could but every now and again Nagisa would hear a sharp intake of breath, Nagisa closed the door and she barely slept. The next morning she awoke to sound of someone moving around. As she got out of the damp bed, Shizue opened the door and startled.
“Who are you and what are you doing in my husand’s house? Get out!”
From nowhere, a shot of water came out of Shizue’s hands. Nagisa dodged it and ran past Shizue as she shoulder checked her on the way out. What Nagisa did not expect was that as her shoulder hit Shizue’s shoulder, her shoulder felt like it had been dripped in cold water. Nagisa looked around to see Shizue standing there, part of her body looking translucent. As if made of water.
Nagisa ran out of the house, Shizue yelling behind her. Nagisa turned in time to see the door being slammed shut by a torrent of water.
She ran back to the shrine, soaking wet as the rain had still not let up. She ran almost sliding but using her natural water abilities ot stay upright. She ran to the shrine where her cousin was just leaving, seemingly to head his way to the house she had just ran from. He did not seem surprised to see her running.
“So I see you have finally met the Woman who Weeps. We have more to talk about.”
He turned his back to her and walked back into the shrine. Nagisa sighed heavily. She would have packed more supplies.

Arc 2: The Woman who Weeps

“What is going on here?” Nagisa said her voice full of fury.
“I was hoping you could tell me since you both seem to have similar water abilities.” Her cousin shouted, his eyebrows switched to attack mode. “The Woman who Weeps uses water to blast people away when they talk to her but as the night comes, she becomes peaceful.”
“Why didn’t you tell me? That information was important!”

“Would you have believed me? You re not one to believe in ghost stories, as you made clear when you mocked my families exorcist practices 2 family dinners ago.”
“So that is why I was sent, as a peace offering from my family to yours to make up for the insult I had sent your way! I knew there was something odd about this. Just like how your family doesn’t believe in my natural abilities being from training and hard work but some family curse.”
“You do the same thing as that Water Witch. It only confirms that…”
“It confirms you are a moron” Nagisa shouted glaring at her cousin. The moisture in the air seemed to start gravitating towards Nagisa. As this happened, Himemo began chanting. Nagisa laughed “Oh yes as soon as I show my natural abilities, you resort to your songbooks.”
“I have asked for your aid in this. Help me deal with this foul thing and we can go back to never talking about cousin. What did you learn about her?”
Nagisa glared at him and put her arms down. “She was nice to me during my visit and stay. She was making food. She was solid enough to interact with food, make and eat. In the morning, after a night of crying while looking out the window, she acted like she didn’t know me and attacked me. Her body is made of water and attacks with water…. So I take it you knew at least some of this information and why I was called. What you thought we were related?”
“We knew about the water. And the timeline makes sense. The ship her husband came in was during the night and the village barricaded her in the house during the storm. She must have cried while watching her husband’s ship sink. Interesting. And she introduced herself by the woman’s name but she is no longer that person. She is something like a spirt and she must be sealed away. She is too dangerous to herself and this entire village.”
Nagisa looked at her cousin.
“So you want to seal her away so she can lament her loss for all time. Is there another way?”
“No This is what needs to be done. It will take time to prepare such a ritual. 3 days. I can teach you part of the ritual the actual binding. We will need your power to seal the thing.”
“Very well, cousin. I will then investigate the town and Shizue herself… the Water Witch if you will.” And with that she left. She was tired of looking at his face.
Nagisa spent the next couple od days just doing what she said. She had found that Shizue was a natural at herbal remedies. She was an informal doctor when people needed simple recipes. She was often times seen smiling while helping people around the town and this is where she met her husband to be. It was a long romance but she eventually accepted. The wedding involved the entire town and people remembered she wanted the wedding for others. The town was remote and cause for celebration was few and far between.
In the nights, she would confirm this with Shizue. While her eyes were still full of tears, she explained how her life was great. They discussed medicine and they both learned… or Nagisa did before she “restarted” in the morning. She also tested out going to different areas in the house. She saw every inch of that house except for the master bedroom. Every time she got too close it would kind of “restart” early and attack. Thankfully her water attacks, if they did hit, did very little as water was where she was most comfortable.
The third day, her cousin showed her the ritual she needed to help with. She also noticed that not only were there more priests, there were some shinobi there too. She was too far away from her office to look them up so she just nodded when they introduced themselves. She had a feeling the names she was given were fake anyways. There was something else going on and she did not like it.
That night, they snuck to the house and Nagisa did what she normally did. She opened the lock with her water powers and entered, leaving the door open for the others to come in.
Shizue greeted her like she always did as if she was a no one but Nagisa knew more than that. Just as she was sitting down to eat similar made ramen that is when the priests and shinobi attacked and bound Shizue. She tried to break free by turning to water but the jutsu used on her made it so she could not.
It was also at this moment that she was attacked as well. She felt the chakra course into her system. She found herself unable to move at the table. Shizue was on the floor crying, asking why these men were in her home and attacking her. She was just waiting for her husband. The shinobi and her cousin ignored her.
“Now to sell her to the highest bidder. There are some places where rain is scarce. They would pay a pretty penny to have this water witch in their town. Just make sure she cries”
“Who do you think you are!?!” Nagisa roared her voice finally coming back to her.
“I think you are an evil that needs to be purged. That is who you are, just a distraction Nagisa. A demon that will be purged of your unnatural powers after we deal with this water witch but not before you watch your friend get sealed.

Arc 3: Who You Are

Nagisa watches as Shizue was starting to cry and yell in pain as the binding ritual began. She wept that she was not a spirit but alive. Why were they attacking her? She did nothing wrong. Then one of the shinobi slapped her to silence her.
Nagisa felt the water around her condense and sink into her flesh. The water worked its magic and soon, but not soon enough Nagina was on her feet, hair flying in all directions.
“I am Kishiko Nagisa, Medical Sennin of Leaf and known as the Eye of the Hurricane. You just made a big mistake.”
And the room nearly exploded as the water that came from Nagisa flooded the small room. It washed away the binding that Shizue had been placed under and she struck out as well. The men were confused and dazed for a moment. Nagisa grabbed Shizue ‘s hand and they ran. It was a gut instinct but she ran towards the master bedroom. Shizue knew where they were going and tried to stop her but he very water around Nagisa was swirling maddingly. She did not earn her title as Sennin by looks alone.
“Why are you taking me here? Why are they after me? I am not a spirit I am alive. What” even as she started to glow a little.
“You are a spirit of sorts. You are being bound to an object. If we do not stop it you will be at the mercy of those men and for me to help you, you must understand you are dead!”
She blasted open the door and they both peered inside.
The master bedroom was as simple at the guest bedroom except it had a full-sized mirror and another big difference. The slightly decaying body of Shizue laid on the bed, cured up.
There was a moment’s silence before Shizue screamed in agony grabbing her head.
“NO! He is dead. I saw him die. I saw the ship sink after the people refused to let me help. They locked me in my own house and I watched as the storm hit. The ship caught on fire and… and…. I started to cry. I cried and cried. I went to bed. I went to bed and stayed there for days. Next thing I know I woke up seemingly fine and started preparing the house for my husband to come back. I can’t… I don’t.”
“You are dead after a trauma. Your will and disbelief were so strong that you left your body without knowing. This village loved you and your husband they hated the fact they had to stop you. They wanted you alive but they didn’t know it cost you your life. Please work with me Shizue. I will try to undo the ritual they did. Please hurry.”
Shizue was in a daze but she complied. She was freely crying but as they were finishing the preparations, Shizue was starting to be pulled as if by an invisible force towards the door. Himemo was at the door holding a small pot made of a black substance.
“This is your new home water witch. You will be forever imprisoned here and forced to do the bidding of your master .There is nothing you can do Nagisa.”
He was wrong. There was one thing she could do.
Nagisa reached out and hugged Shizue to stop her from being pulled into backwards.
“Do you trust me?” Nagisa asked.
“I… I..
Shizue stammered.
“Remember that we have talked these past few days? Remember how we shared stories but you forgot them the next day? I am your friend. Please.. trust me”
Shizue nodded once, tears in her eyes.
Nagisa started to form handsigns behind Shizue’s back. Himemo yelled something and took a step forward but was blasted back as a shining light enveloped them and a blast of chakra exploded out.
It was far more painful, especially where Shizue had her hand on the back of her neck holding on .it was like she was holding on with her very soul or essence.
It felt like it lasted for an hour but what was a minute later it was just Nagisa standing there. The box in Himemo’s hand went dull.
“What did you do freak?” he yelled as he started to chant.
“I showed you who I am” said the voice of Nagisa but there was an overlay of another voice,. Shizue’s. “I am one who protects and refuses to sacrifice one for gain. I am someone who holds the power of the sea in my very hands. I am the one you will remember for the rest of your life as the Eye of the Hurricane for once I start raging, you will be forever lost in my rains!”
As she spoke, a coat of chakra enveloped her. It was a deep blue in nature and it made her seem a few feet taller. Himemo screamed and ran for his life but not before being hit with a water jutsu that sent him flying from the house. He landed 40 feet from the door of the house and laid there.
The rest of the shinobi that were there left as did the priests. Nagisa walked towards the beach. When she felt the sand in her toes she noticed that she was not alone. Well not alone mentally.
“Why did you do this?” Shizue asked inside her head.
“Because.. You were a good person in life. I wanted you to be a good person in death to. Everyone loved you so much and they hated how they treated you. IT was easier to think you were a water witch than admit that they killed you. I am a healer by nature.”
“I know. I saw your memories of our talks. I remember a little now.. Your memories helped fill in the gaps. I feel sorry that I caused so much trouble… Hey… it isn’t raining.”
And it was the truth. The rain had stopped. From the town, there was an outcry. People woke up other people and there was a small party going on. They were finally done with the rain. Their lives can continue.
“I don’t know what the future holds for us Shizue, but I know that we will protect the people. We will use our powers to heal. I will never let you be used for selfish gain. I know who I am now. I am the one who helps. I am the one who decides who is important me. Family is who you make it and you are my sister .For now until I die.”
No one really noticed Nagisa leave the following day. They noticed that Himemo returned to the village to only pack up his things and leave town never to be seen again. He kept muttering about a water witch and water demon but the village ignored him. It was no longer raining and a time to move forward. The future was ahead of them and the sky was clear. That is all they needed and for Nagisa, a new future awaited Shizue right next to her. Only after she returned home did she notice that the back of her neck had been branded by the ritual. A mark of a single teardrop was in between her shoulder blades where Shizue’s hand had been holding her where the ritual had been completed. Also when she returned home she made good per her promise and refused to speak to her family. Her branch was her family now. Her village. And Shizue as well. They mattered.

Nagisa had a knack for ninjutsu. It seemed to be in her blood. However, she had noticed that she gravitated towards her water jutsu. At first, it was subtle things that clued her in. Most kids hated the rain but Nagisa loved it. In fact, if they were in a dry spell, Nagisa would feel drained and demanded in her own way a time to relax in the pool to recharge. As she become an academy student, water ninjutsu was her natural talent. Soon, she could do things with water jutsu that others could not, not even the instructors! In a medical ninjutsu class she was even able to heal minor wounds with just water. The medical shinobi were impressed enough to invite her to the medical branch. As she continues her training, she could make water jutsu more powerful by increasing the pressure or could spread it out. Water was very malleable that way and Nagisa seemed to be able to tap into it easier than others. One time, while still practicing, she flooded a small classroom because she put a little too much power into it. She was scolded something fierce but she felt she could do it next time and that she should do it outdoors next to a river just to be certain she would not get yelled at again. In a mission when she was a genin, she was able to help the party get back to leaf safety because she found a river and was able to use the river to heal her allies, who were exhausted after a tough mission. As a medical chief, she has written a thesis on why water could be used as a healing substance. With minimal success she tried to teach others how to heal with water but it turned out it was just something she was born with. While it was mostly a failure, it did highlight her ability to heal and impressed others who did not know about her natural ability. Nagisa thanked the stars that she had worked hard with water ninjutsu otherwise she would not be where she was now.

On her arms, she wears garments that stretch from her palms to her elbows. She normally leaves her Sennin robes off and if wearing anything additional, she is wearing a white lab coat while working.
Character's Mental Description: Nagisa is a kind soul. Being from a long line of healers, she wants to help. However she forms strong bonds with people and if crossed, she becomes almost spiteful in her response to those that cross her. She has been called The Eye of the Hurricane when she is crossed. She is distant form her family and only trusts a few. She is a loner for the most part due to family trying to… let us say purify her.

Character History: Nagisa was born and raised in Leaf. Her clan had been in leaf during the reclaiming of it but none in the family were shinobi. Thankfully, Nagisa showed her inclinations towards chakra after that war and began to train. Her natural affinity towards water jutsu helped her pass her genin exam rather well. Her natural affinity helped her in medical classes and soon she could turn her very affinity into healing. She became a medical ninja after a short stint in the main branch as a genin. She climbed ranks until she was a full medical shinobi. She had a …let’s say a falling out with a portion of her family and distances herself from them. Still, she fights for her home and her new family. Her medical branch is her family. She has been nominated recently to being Medical Sennin. She hopes she will do her family proud. She is an accomplished fighter. Very few have seen The Eye of the Hurricane in action and lived to tell the tale.

What is Limbo Training?
This is the training that you would have gotten if you did not move on to your new character's life. Your caps are determined by your rebirthed stats. You must keep a record of your stats gained during limbo in your OCR thread. You may NOT request for an automatic rank up should you find that your new stats allow you to upgrade. Limbo training is only for people who have died in modded combat or suicide. Anyone whose character has not died is still capable of RPing that character until their OCR is finalized, and thus can train as normal.


Things you do NOT need to state, but take note of:

• Abilities = All of your Abilities are auto-untrained upon rebirth. In order to have any Abilities for your new character, you must activate them by posting in your character’s Dojo topic in your new village.
• Character History = By suiciding/rebirthing, you're making a new character. This means your new character must not know or remember anything of your old character's life/thoughts/feelings. If your new character has ANY direct/indirect connection to your old character, you MUST state that in your new character history write up for Admin & Village approvals. All Medical or ANBU related experience should be reflected in your history along with CA or BL influence.
• Editing Your New Character Application = Do not edit a post you have made in your OCR. You must copy all of your information from your last post and add the changes to the new post. This is for paper trail reasons.
