Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was a crisp dawn, the sun just barely poking up over the city of Iwagakure. Light rays falling between the elegant marvelous buildings as the earliest peeps of birds broke the night silence. The streets still holding the quiet peace with no sandal-wearing people to stir up the dust as the day wore on. However, not all was well in the idyllic community of stone. For the lurking Terror that plagued the low streets of inner Maruishi. She was up to something particularly devious today, as she had played hooky effectively from her training at the Ninja academy. Her trusty slingshot tucked into her colorful satchel was her weapon of choice for this operation. The Hospital had not yet experienced the full extent of her burgeoning abilities as she scampered up the smooth sides of the building. Grasping each painted ledge, easing up and up until she reached a particular window. This window belonged to room 239, and she had made it her entry point for all her mischief. Juroyo pulls a small thin piece of metal out of her pocket, squeezing close to the window so she didn't lose her footing. As she jams the oddly bent item into the crack between the window and its sill it took just a little pressure to make it pop up enough for her to get a couple fingers into the crevice. With little effort she forced the window up the rest of the way and slipped silently in.

This was going to be the best practical joke yet! She had stayed up all night after faking throwing up to get out of dinner. Rolling tiny fragile paper mache pellets with an old news paper and itching powder. A classic maneuver sure, but she had every intention of pegging a few stuck up med-nin with the stuff. Give her shots will they? Tell her to stop eating candy? HA! They would pay for their insolence against the Greatest Gangster in the world! A Yakuza didn't listen to anyone, let alone some fancy chi users who said she wasn't actually sick-.

Ni hyaku san juu kyuu was hard to say. Her internal monologue was interrupted however by a strange sound in the usually empty 239 room.

Juroyo's instincts won out as she dove underneath the cot pressed against the wall, wedging herself neatly between the two bins reserved for old clothes and sheets. Using them and the low nature of the bed to conceal her presence even if it made her have to bend at an odd angle.

Kurokawa was slowly waking up from her healing slumber. She had been moved here after being cleared as out of mortal danger and would soon leave this place. All she needed was a good nights rest and her spirit would have restored her body to it's fullest. For this reason she had been moved to the usually unoccupied room 239, one of the top floor rooms rarely used due to being so far away from everything. Service would have to go up four flights of stairs to get there so unless the hospital was filled there would be no reason to use these rooms.

A sudden sound ripped Kurokawa from her slumber. Someone was trying to come in from the outside. Someone up to no good no doubt. Why else use a closed window instead of the door. She would get visiting through the window it it was open. Walking on walls was commonplace in this world and all, but she didn't have anyone who she would expect to come visit. With no family to speak off and guardians all dead she was alone in a sense.

She decided to lie still and wait for whoever to enter the room before addressing them.

"Who's there?"

Her voice would sound more tired than scared. She still had a few seconds of reboot time before she would be fully operational again so she figured conversation might be the answer here. Whoever was here quickly dogged below some laundry carts that were stored here since this was the room furthest from the stairs and therefor the one most suited for storage.

There was no reply, Juroyo was holding her breath. One hand tightly wrapped around her mouth, keeping her from making any sudden noises. This was bad already, she hadn't expected anyone to be in this room. Not even a little bit, so the tired voice that graced her ears made her screw up her face. Great, it just had to be some old person wasn't it? Well, she didn't suppose that should prevent her from having fun. She slowly slid out of her hiding spot and stuck to the edges of the room, Kurokawa could probably see her even in this darkness. A garishly dressed, dirty faced punk. Her hair up in two tight buns, shockingly green. A sharp little canine poking out over one lip, "Stay still lady, I don't have any beef with you." There was no particular sureness in the kid's voice aside from a slight edge of malice. Maybe they were some sort of street wanderer. The outfit certainly fit the bill as did the generally rough expression on her face. Certainly not the typical little girl to be running around the town, she certainly wasn't here to visit if that slingshot was any indication.

Once Juroyo took a closer look at the person in the bed it would be apparent that she was without sight. At least for now. A purple blindfold covered the eyes of the bedridden teenager. She was what you would call a little more developed than Juroyo, having already grown to what would probably be her full height. Standing a total of 5'8 feet, the 14 year old Kurokawa was not short but neither was she one of the tall ones. Other than her blindfold she was wearing a hospital shirt. One of those kinda long white T-shirts that felt kinda like a towel on the skin. Not particularly pleasant evening wear but it did it's job and it was sturdy, which made it perfect for heavy duty usage, like it needed to be. Being washed every day it would break if made from a more fragile fabric. She would sit there motionless, getting back to her full awareness. Then she heard a voice answer, which made her smile.

"You? Glad to hear you made it back from the beach in one piece. This may seem nosy but, who exactly is it you are here to collect on then if not me?"

Her face would be pointed in Juroyo's general direction but not quite pointing straight at her. As the young girl moved along the wall, Kurokawas head would slowly follow as far as it could before her neck would not allow for anymore turning. She was not an owl after all. When she hit that point she would just return her head to a forward facing position and hope to get an answer from the young burglar.

"I am here to exact revenge!" she remarks boldly, hands on her hips. Ignoring the fact that she was face to face with someone who was uh...more developed than she was. She was fine the way she was, didn't need to be like this lady to be the greatest Gangster of all time! "So just stay where you are unless you wanna get a face full of this, which I don't think you do sister, you'll be itching for weeks!" A good villain had to explain their plan at length now didn't they? The little nin scampered closer to the door, pushing the sliding panel open and temporarily peeking out to see if there were any nurses patrolling the area. "Nothing is gonna stop me from attaining my goal, I uh...guess you're my hostage now. So be good!"

Kurokawa smiled. The little prankster was playing some kind of game and apparently brought some sort of itching powder along for the ride. Kurokawa didn't want to ruin the joke by stating that most medical ninjas had counter measures for that sort of stuff, heck even she herself had that jutsu down to a grind. One didn't even need to sign up as a medic to learn it. But a harmless prank once in a while might wake people up to so why not. Kurokawa didn't feel like having to wash her clothes to get rid of the powder anyway.

"Hostage? Guess I better get out of bed, now don't I. Don't want some immobile hostage lying around forcing you to stay in one place or release them."

Kurokawa moved her legs so they hung over the side of the bed and then pushed herself off so that she would land on her feet making the white T-shirt flutter a little in the wind. On the ground there was some slippers that she quickly slipped into. She didn't want to do much more than that on the off chance that the hostage part of this game wasn't going anywhere outside this room. Besides in a hospital it wouldn't be weird to walk around dressed like a Halloween ghost that didn't have quite enough fabric to make the hood arms or to cover from the knees down.

"Guess you don't want to tell me who seeing as asking that just revealed the means and not the target. So what now?"

Kurokawa stood facing Juroyos general direction with her head tilted slightly to one side.
