Ao had finally made it back to Fire Country, and he was ecstatic. Ao had grown tired of the cold or barren landscapes he had seen before. It felt good to feel the sun and see overgrown vegetation again.
Ao found himself at a location called the Valley of the End, and the textbooks that detailed this location did not do it justice. Two incredibly large statues stood across from each other. Both of the faces had been worn beyond repair. Because of this many people have forgotten who these two statues were supposed to represent.
Time is a cruel mistress Ao. No matter how powerful you are, or how important, time will eventually ensure that you are forgotten.
Ao didn’t bother replying to Azathoth’s statement. It was true Ao supposed, but it didn’t really matter. All that mattered was the here and now, and right now Ao wanted to go visit Konohagakure.
Ao pulled out his map to make sure that he was headed in the right direction, and continued his journey to the Hidden Leaf Village.
