Name: Ryujin Kazuma
Age:11
Gender: Male
Sex: Male
Family History: A long time ago in the land of lighting there existed a expansive area of land which operated as a battle ground for two wayward gods, one of lightning and one of wind. Their clashes, which produced large storms, somehow managed to turn the area into fertile ground. A few decades later a large group of people arrived, seeking shelter and fertile ground to prosper in. These people, known as the Ryujin, had very little else to go and decided to live in the gods area. The Ryujin feared what would happen to them during the god’s battle and as such tried to come up with ideas to eliminate the threat. The cleverest among them decided to trick the gods, calling upon them to meet him for a conversation. In their talk he decided to ask them to allow them to live in the land without fearing their wrath. To his dismay the two were unconcerned and began to bicker into another spat which would seem as if another cataclysmic fight would break out. To stop them the man came up with an idea. He pleaded with the gods into having a competition instead of having a battle to determine who is better, using him and his people as the stage of said competition. Instead of fighting the two would reign over the village, each with its own sect representing their presence in the village, and support it and protect it. They would be re-payed with an offering which would be a direct result of their own support to their sect. Whoever’s offering was the largest would win for that season, which would continue for as long as the village stood and would be able to give offering. The gods were intrigued and ultimately agreed by the man’s terms, electing him as the neutral governing party. This man would also become ranked as chief by the village for his ingenious plan and to couple it with his now neutral stance within the village.
Due to a ninja war resources became low within the village and soon they were not able to make offerings to the gods who then began to battle to determine who the better god as they did before was. During this period a wandering warrior was traveling through. The traveler, a woman hailing from a clan far from the knowledge of the Ryujin, encountered the Ryujin during their troubled times and fell in love with the head of Ryujin clan himself. Together the two with their combined abilities decided to protect the village from the gods. With their combined efforts the two were able to defeat and seal the gods within a special sword. Peace returned to village and with the sword in hand the two were able to continue to protect the village. To ensure the safety of the village and to make sure the sword doesn’t go out of control, the head of the Ryujin and his lover decided to leave the sword within the family, with the sword now bonded to their blood, so that the next head would be able to use it for the sake of the village. Such became the tradition of the family of the head of the Ryujin. As time went on children born in the family of the head of the Ryujin clan would bear signs of the influence of the sword and thus began training to be the next head of the Ryujin clan. There was only ever one child who would bear the signs until one generation of the family produced twins. Both of which bore signs of the swords influence and thus their destinies began to unfold.
