Name- Kinezumi Amatsu
Age- 20
Birthday- March 22nd
Birthplace- Iwagakure
Height 179 cm
Weight 66 kg
Amatsu is of average height and build. Most notable is his snow colored white hair which is uncommon in his home land but more common in foreign lands like Mist. Amatsu is peach in completion, has brown eyes, and wild hair cut medium height. Amatsu is more than likely seen wearing a tall coat with flames at it's tail. This is the preferred garb for him for many reasons unknown to others. He is never seen with a frown as his philosophy dictates a smile at all times as nothing is ever as bad as it seems and that everything could be worse. At first glance, Amatsu is boisterous, hotheaded and arrogant beyond belief. He demands recognition and seems hungry for greatness, illustrated in his tendency to call himself "the Mighty Amatsu" and his signature catchphrase, "Just who the Hell do you think I am?!" He is an undetterable idealist, often to the point of ignorance; some described him as a man of unlimited stupidity. Amatsu is also very perverted but he disguises this by declaring that the urge to stare at beautiful women is the definition of a man.
Amatsu is extremely determined and never lets anything keep him down for long. Even when he discovered that his father was dead only solemned him for a night or two... visibly at least. He is also devoted to defending and supporting his comrades and loved ones, fighting with all his strength to protect them. In turn, he is very charismatic in the heat of battle, able to inspire even the timid of friends to accomplish great feats.
Despite his often brazen and practically insane actions, Amatsu is fairly insightful, as his bombast and seemingly blind confidence usually mask his true intelligence in planning and combat. He even personally admits that his bravado and fearlessness is mostly a device he uses to hide his own worries and to support others, and that he thinks people who never give up are the real heroes. He truly believes that his drive in defending his village is not for personal glory, but a desire to give future generations a world without fear. Despite his often moronic actions, he does have some level of common sense, pointing out his never retreat mentality, that fleeing from enemy would leave one wide open to attack. All this confirms that Amatsu has a much more complicated personality than his usual behavior would insinuate

Character History:
Childhood (age 8-14)
As a child, Amatsu's father left the village and although he wanted his son to come with him, Amatsu was too scared of the strange world awaiting him, so his father allowed him to stay behind, promising him they'd meet again someday. This is what motivated Amatsu to become stronger and determined, joining the shinobi academy and exceling in his classes. Years later, Amatsu had accomplished shinobi-ship and decided he was old enough and began to aim for greater heights and perhaps searching for his father. At some point in his search, Amatsu was on a mission that went bad. He and a few others from the village were trapped in an unfinished tunnel due to a cave-in. Amatsu kept everyone's spirits up with his usual charisma and optimism, but it was only one kunoichi that dug them out by tirelessly digging through the blockade of rocks. Watching this kunoichi, Amatsu vowed that he would emulate her determination by never giving up and never showing fear, no matter how scared he was on the inside.
The Gift of Greatness (age 15-18)
Amatsu, although not very obvious at times, is highly intelligent. With the combination of the villages crisis and the need to draft medical personnel due to a losing war, Amatsu was trained in medicine and medical jutsu. Although he preferred to be on the front lines, Amatsu placed all his energy and efforts to mastering what his village required of him and then some. After shown that he has the mental aptitude and skills, Amatsu found himself among the villages elite shamans fully focused on the fight to save lives rather than the fight to save them. Amatsu wasn't just any medical ninja either. Most notable of this claim was when war called for even the shamans to take foot on the battle field. His ability to heal was also matched by his ability to encourage people to live on and fight for not only their lives but the lives of their loved ones. Amatsu learned a long time ago of the power of one's fighting spirit and the fighting spirit is an extremely powerful force in peoples lives. His charisma and bravado inspires his teammates to perform at the top of their ability, and allow him to support the under-confident patients when their willpower flags. It is also on record that Amatsu was once killed by the enemies first assault, implying that his fighting spirit allowed him to stay alive long enough to ensure the success of the mission and essentially avenge himself. Some believe he did it through willpower, medical ninja and scientist classify it as a medical phenomenon while Shamans speculate that it was an act of god... perhaps a miracle even.
The War! 1st Assault! (age 18) [Kin app-Jashinism]
"Synopsis- A man yet to realize his destiny"
Here's a story implausible enough it could only have come from the fantasy genre. A bunch of under-equipped shinobi find themselves holed up in a fortress, outnumbered 30 to one. Knowing that death is all but inevitable, they decide to fend off the vastly superior army for a miraculous stretch of time as a pure exercise in ball-flexing manliness, before being rescued by God.
"Part 1- The bad news..."
They called it the "Battle of Stonehill" because "The Battle of That place with all the rocks" didn't sound quite as impressive. Amatsu and his platoon was tasked with the thankless job of retaking the stronghold after the enemy had seized it. To get a snapshot of what their mindset was like heading in, it's helpful to know that the assignment was considered an extremely dangerous one by the Stone shinobi, and that the Stone shinobi slogan at the time was "die for Iwagakure." Somehow, the slogan failed to raise morale of the stone shinobi and yet they pushed forward towards their doom. Amatsu and his platoon were but the few who drew the short stick in which Iwagakure's hopes and dreams would rest on their backs, if they failed to reclaimed the strong hold, it would prove detrimental to Stone as the stronghold was between the enemy who were pushing into Stone as part of the biggest military operation in the history of the human race, and everything was about to come to a head in the city of Iwagakure with a battle over a single bombed-out structure.
"Part 2- What you consider success.."
Intel relayed that in the stronghold, Amatsu's team was out numbered three to one and after doing the quick math, Amatsu realized his only chance was to throw his whole platoon into the meat grinder, and hope that the speed with which they passed through left at least a few alive. He lost all but four men in the assault, but eventually his plan worked and they took the stronghold. Had they known they were dealing with a man who considered four shinobi surviving a success, the enemy probably would have realized that they were in for some serious shit. Having barely enough survivors to outfit a respectable zombie movie, Amatsu could only station one shinobi to each floor. However, the drop-dead gorgeous line of sight it offered was enough for them to unleash a mountain of unholy hell against all enemy shinobi.
"Part 3- A necessary evil..."
The last face many of them ever saw was Amatsu's. The stronghold was subjected to relentless attacks as were the civilians huddled in its basement but Amatsu's unit held out long enough to be reinforced by a still-tiny twenty-five men. Not a God, but it was all they needed. His men were given supplies such as explosives, kunai, bandages, barbed-wire, food, some body armor and a few creates of highly combustible powder which Amatsu personally used to fashion large bombs out of the dead enemy shinobi and a few living hostages. From the ground and about a kilometer from the stronghold, Amatsu was able to ignite a dozen or so enemy shinobi tactical advancing forces. Using the living hostages as human bombs worked especially well as they would yell out for help causing more to be drawn towards them before Amatsu would ignite them. Amatsu effectively used what little equipment he had to convert the stronghold into a goddamn anti-enemy death machine that could annihilate whatever came at it from a kilometer in every direction. Amatsu bared no ill will towards this enemy other than the fact that they were invading his home and killing his people... the carnage was but necessary...
"Part 4- The dark passenger..."
The smell of blood stained rocks and burning flesh drew the cloaked man towards the blackened heart of Amatsu. The man stood over seven feet tall but was hunched over like an old man... his eyes filled with nothingness, his cloaked held a stench of a thousand corpses... "You... freedom... worthy..." The man would continuously mumble these three words deliriously along his travels stopping for nothing, not for food, not for water, not even to take a piss as he dragged one foot in front of the other heading in the direction of continuous carnage, towards the stronghold that Amatsu and his men were defending. Before long the cloaked man stood before crows feasting on the dead that paved the way towards the strong hold. "You... freedom... worthy..." The man continued forward until he came across Amatsu fending of his would be enemies just a kilometer away from the stronghold. Amatsu being the first line of defense had sustained heavy injury, heavy blood lost, a fractured leg, none of which slowed him down. His enemies were terrified at the monster they were facing. The cloaked man continued towards Amatsu, dragging along steadily and mumbling as if a battle was not taking place around him. The enemy shinobi confused by the sudden appearance of the cloaked man and his boldness to enter the hostile scene mistook him for reinforcement and one attacked him. A swift jab through the shinobi's chest revealed his still beating heart in the palm of the cloaked seven foot man... "Not you... Not freedom.... NOT WORTHY!!!"
The enemy shinobi fear reached it's peak at the sight of their comrade's heart slowly fading in the hand of the cloaked giant thus calling for a tactical retreat unless the same fate befall them. Amatsu to injured to flee and unwilling to retreat stared into the empty eyes of the cloaked man staggering closer. Every bit of his being was demanding that he retreated but instead he prepared himself for an all out attack. His hands trembled as he formed the hand seals in confusion towards his body's unwillingness to fight. Through sheer willpower, he denied despairs demands to give in and spewed a bloody hell fire from his mouth engulfing the cloaked man in unholy hellfire. Suddenly a hand pierced through Amatsu's chest lifting him off the ground and bringing the flames from his mouth to an abrupt stop. "Yes you... Freedom... WORTHY!!!! Me... frreee.... you... cursed... hahaaa ack ack... Amatsu's heart being grabbed within his chest should have resulted in an instant death but instead caused a pain that forced him in and out of consciousness. Free... me... The cloaked man opened his mouth wide as blood spilled from his eyes and mouth just as fast as it spilled from Amatsu's chest as something in the cloaked man's garb started to glow violently and screamed at Amatsu. It was an odd looking medallion stained in blood screaming horrifically. It called to Amatsu's instincts and answered did the shinobi by grabbing hold of it!
"Part 5- Divine Judgment..."
The cloaked man's empty eyes began to fill with life as the blood stopped flowing from his mouth... "cursed.." As sudden as life returned to the man's eyes was as soon as they faded as the man's grip of Amatu's heart loosened. His hand slipped from Amatsu's chest crumbling to ash as his body too followed suite. Amatsu fell to his knees as he formed hand seals to cast a medical jutsu to control his bleeding. Why wasn't he dead? How was he conscious? The odd medallion soaked in a pool of ash and blood he was now kneeling in. What was this medallion and why did this just happen? Cursed? What did he mean? Hundreds of questions raced through his conscious mind while his subconscious focused on maintaining his bleeding control. The many questions would have to wait as Amatsu's vision started to fade... this was it... "Am I dying?" Amatsu's mind went blank as his face crashed into the bloody ash.
Beep! ...Beep! ...Beep!
It's a miracle... he's alive...
Amatsu awoke in his village's hospital with no recognition as to how he got there. A strange medallion around his neck and bandages were all that there was to remind him that the events at the stronghold did in fact happen and that it wasn't some sick nightmare. As it turned out, Amatsu's men could boast that they killed more enemy shinobi defending their one building than the enemy killed in the entire fall of their forces. And fortunately for the enemy's egos, they were not alive to hear boasting. By the next year, the war was over. Amatsu still held to the medallion unsure of how he got a seconded chance... was it a blessing? Was it a curse? Only time could tell.
As a child, Amatsu's father left the village and although he wanted his son to come with him, Amatsu was too scared of the strange world awaiting him, so his father allowed him to stay behind, promising him they'd meet again someday.
