Ryuu Tama stands at a tall 6’2’’ with long silver (snow white when clean) hair braided back into a very loose ponytail. His hair normally has the look of something that needs to be brushed but not ratty. Like his father both of his eyes hold different colored irises; the right is blue while the left is green and a small almost unoticed scar runs right under the left one. His broad shouldered body build is more an “accidentally” muscular form due to his constantly world-wide traveling; so it isn’t as tone as a body-builder’s and looks more natural. On his upper body are three very distinct identifications. Two are scars, one that travels up his right arm in the shape of a jagged crag – the other is in a horizontal slash across his abs. The third thing is a tattoo on his chest that is an ancient clan seal known as the Ryuu Katto that is far from complete and is the cause of his blackouts when his short temper rises too high. Just like his father’s Ryuu Katto it glows and sends the dragon like head in the seal’s makeup to slither up the side of Tama’s neck and open it’s jaws to rest around his eye; (Solid Stance) and during this time he is channeling the power of the elemental creature that resides in his golden knuckles.

His clothing consist of only two outfits, both which are the same but one has an addition. Due to his rather poor life and using the money for little more than alcohol and gambling he wears a worn out blue kimono with cloth of gold bordering. Its usually kept wide open over his chest and not very closed around his legs either due to the Sunan heat. His legs are normally bare unless its night or he’s competing, which is the only time he wears a pair of loose martial artist leggings, the same color as the kimono with his clan’s symbol on the right outer thigh – done in a black, thick, stitching. His feet are normally bare, even in the day, but when he wears shoes he tends to stick to a brown mocchasan type of footwear.

During battle he is known for lowering the upper half of his kimono around his waste but has once fought in nothing but his small clothes before – shortly after that fight he developed a strong hate for users of fire. When sparing he fights with a tempered fist that still leaves a feeling of mac-truck proportions, but when facing off against an imponent he intends to kill he is normally surrounded by an aura of pure power that’s a wild uncontrolable chakra; it is both his greatest strength and his bane. However when this aura surrounds him the very earth shakes benath each step he takes and the world steps aside for the last of the Ryuu.

Son of the Sunan Madman, his name taken from that same person, Tama is a youth of a tailored background turned rebel.
His father had at one point during his extraordinary long life had been a pirate; which would seem impossible in a desert but dammit he managed it. Working for years on an air ship he had thought to of perfected the first model years ago only to find that it worked more as a vessel built for swimming through the sands like the dreaded land shark. Such as his ship was, Tama reflected it in his years away from Suna becoming every bit of the pirate his ship and crew made him look like.
In the years Tama was a Desert Pirate he sacked a few villages, for fun more than profit, and in one of those villages found a most beautiful woman whom did not belong with the village. Some quick talking to her companions revealed her to be Sunan nobility, the daughter of a merchant prince. With a devilish shine in his eyes the pirate took her hostage and left her companions alive to tell the tale and earn ransom.

The only reason that the shinobi government is not aware of this incident is that the family refused to let word of this go any further than their household. They would send rogues and mercenaries of all kinds to hunt down the pirate ship and attempt to steal back the noble woman, but all for naught; the Madman’s shinobi training and quick wit made him quite an obstacle to get by. It was months before the daughter was finally returned to the family by the pirate himself, but with a special blessing.

The girl was pregnant.

In the time spent there, she said, he held a very gentleman like ruse that not only amused her it caught her attention. Within a month she was in love with the pirate, in half that time again he was in love with her. It would be the end of Tama’s pirate’s day as she convinced him in the end that they both should return back to normal lives. The girl went back to her place as a noble daughter of a merchant prince; Tama went back to being a ninja. Although he never did get back into the swing of being an actual ninja and focused most of his attention in those later years as a scientist that finally died literally beneath the weight of his own genius.

Ryuu Tama II was born on a windy day in the spring, in the back of a shack during a dust storm. It was said that the girl had gone missing earlier that day before the storm and came back with the child after. Rumor had it that the father had actually delivered the child in privacy with the girl.
Despite his questionable birth, though, the child was raised in the ways of politics in the merchant trade and the money of a noble. At the time he took the surname of Sansai. He kept up with this until he reached the age of 15 when his mother took him in private with a great sadness in her eyes. She told him of his true heritage as it was explained to her by Tama, and that he was the last member again of the lonely Ryuu clan. On that day his father had been crushed by the airship invention that no one had been able to fully figure out. It was also on that day that he was supposed to inherit the business from his grandfather and take over in the world of merchant trade but he could not see himself doing that day in and day out for the rest of his life. The rebel blood inside of him stirred and away into the windy night he escaped.

For the first few nights Tama was sure he was going to die. The desert days were hell, and the desert nights were Hel. He rushed out without a touch of water on his tongue or body and by the beginning of the third day he quickly saw the mistake he had made. Yet it was not time of the Ryuu Clan to come to an end. Another chapter had yet to be added and the same powers that fueled his father found him out in the desert and surrounded him. It was a cool and gentle breeze that wrapped him as the sun rose blistering in the horizon. The gust of air turned into a tornado just as quickly as it appeared and lifted the Ryuu high into the sky above the desert.
He could feel a power in that tornado jumping from wall to wall inside the cyclone. Every once in awhile it would phase through him causing the wind to seemingly blow through his body. This went on and on until finally he blackout as the sun broke out fully into the sky.

An unknown amount of time passed before the teenager regained his senses, and he came back to them standing in a strange chamber covered in dust. Before him was an alter with a scimitar stationed upon it like a holy relic. Despite its shape it was standing before him blade against the stone. The weapon called to him in his mind and before he even realized it his hand had grasped the hilt causing wind to erupt from it and cover him from head to toe in a twisting cyclone. A voice called to him, telling him that though he was the last of his clan the powerful elemental beings they controlled have chaotically entered the mortal realm after a war between them broke out in their realm. Without reason most of them attacked everything around them but due to the land they were end was quickly subdued and crafted into weapons that could hold their powers in the mortal realm for mortal use. Yet the beings were too powerful to be completely controlled and if one with a weak will was to take the weapon they would be consumed by the being inside the weapon until they took over the human completely. So far, this has only happened with the power of Wind and Water. Fire, Earth, and Energy were all forged into weapons, though the wind entity admitted to having this done to her on purpose so that she could stay by the being that originally channeled her power – a clansman that was unknown to even Tama.
The only two entities that were forced into the mortal realm and retained their shape and minds were the powers of Yami, which Tama’s father controlled, and Light who has done all she can to conceal her presence to all but the humblest of beings.

Ryuu Tama II was tasked that day by the sword. He was, as the only living clansman left, tasked with finding the elemental beings and either capturing their power in any means necessary so that their influence isn’t spread too far into the world. In return the sword promised to grant him the powers similar to the powers his father once owned, albeit a different element. Having been given a purpose to do something other than is a merchant the youth accept and the scimitar became a weapon that was more to his rebellious nature; a fancy-looking brass knuckle.

The next two years were spent traveling the world looking for the elementals, though he took care to avoid all the shinobi villages on purpose, wishing to have no interaction with them at first as was how his clan originally was. In that time he learned how to use his weapon and power through the teachings of the elemental trapped in his sword. He found the user of the flame elemental, a strong willed barbarian that claimed to know his father as a rival. The two battled but it was obvious at the time that the man knew more how to use his weapon than Tama did at that time and the elemental took him away from the battle with a tornado that all but exhausted their limits.
It was decided that they would travel back to the Wind Country and join ranks with the Sunan Shinobi in honor of his father and to further increase the hidden techniques in his weapon he had not been powerful enough to understand.

Quick Character Description:
Tama is more aligned with the thinking type but has the instinct to continue increasing his own physical prowess. Unlike most brainy types the boy prides himself in being able to physically keep up with his age group despite being rushed into it. Yet he knew that his prowess at the time would eventually begin to dwindle since he knew it was destiny that he focused more and more of his time towards studies and creationism. A cure for this problem was solved when he was given holy powers by having a hidden inner power in his blood tapped by an ancient. With the ability to channel naturally destructive powers he is easily able to focus the majority of his time on his projects.
However his methods would undoubtedly be shunned by the general populace due to the natures of some of them, and because of this way of thinking he tends to be a bit offish in general society; it is only those close to the boy that get to know his true creative nature. Though that true nature is slowly starting to become warped...
Character History:
Tama’s history is, even at best, an odd tale.

It all begins long ago with the creation of the Ryuu Clan – a nomadic group of people with no family ties that worshiped dragon deities, and while their prayers were often unheeded the faith was an unshakable one. The very bases of their nomadic lifestyle was through their faith that as they traveled they would eventually come upon a relic that could take them to their god’s realm.
Within that clan, though, were some of the most powerful warriors of their time. Often they would pick up random jobs that either the Villages couldn’t attend to, or were too weak of power to handle themselves. The clan was famous for their large list of secret sealing techniques, powerful offensive elemental jutsu, and lost martial art styles that were only carried on through the clan by the random stragglers they picked up as the nomadic people made their pilgrimage across the land. Everyone was able to relate to the other in some way or fashion and it was made them a family. Yet after nearly a hundred years of travel through the world the clan picked up two stragglers that would shake the very core of the clan down to its knees.

Karagan and Tengokai – A female exorcist from the Mist country and a wild but intelligent male lightning wielder from the Cloud country. The two were at constant odds every day for years as the clan teased them for being lovers before the two finally did become just that. Together they created a son that was the last “true Ryuu” of the clan Tama, and in that same year destroyed the clan from the inside out.
Tengokai was voted to become the next Chief of the clan after proving his power, knowledge, and extensive faith through a set of trails that was to be completed by every chief hopeful, but his reign was short lived. Upon becoming the clan head he was given knowledge that was passed down from every leader and inside that knowledge was a dark truth behind the clan and the location of a weapon they were charged with protecting.

The Blade of Ash was a black sword that had struck down more than just innocent lives but was said to be the cause of some of the greatest calamities in history. The wielder of this blade was instantly granted all the knowledge and powers of its previous owners and with each new owner comes greater destruction. By theory and legend the next man to find that weapon would become the very harbinger of the apocalypse – Tengokai saw it as the savior of the Ryuu Clan. Within the years before his ascension to power a lot of the Villages began to grow ever more powerful and the requests that kept the clan nomadic were all starting to dry up. They were losing followers daily and within another few years the Ryuus would be yet just another page in history.

So for the first time the clan broke rule and deviated from their normal pilgrimage to travel far into the north, chartering a boat that would take them to an uncharted island near the top of the world. In those frozen wastelands the clan began to dwindle daily, not from people turning away but from death. The mad quest of their new chief was what saw the near utter destruction of his people, though it was merciful to what befell them next. Tama was but a fourteen month old child when his father discovered the Blade of Ash and remembered nothing of the destruction that was wrought on the unsuspecting stalwarts of the clan as his father fell into the inevitable madness of the weapon. Karagan and Tama were the only two survivors of this attack, his mother’s precognitive abilities alerting her only minutes before Tengokai descended from the lone mountain on the island and slaughtered the remaining clansmen. With this head start the mother was able to get back to the ship and convinced the crew to sail back, claiming that they were the only two surviving members of the clan.

The journey back through the lands was harsh for the mother and child. Not only because the entire clan she traveled with was gone or because of the guilt she felt burdened with by leaving her mate behind, but more because she blamed herself for his fall and the clan’s demise. It was always her pushing Tengokai to keep his intelligence and to keep up his studies that lead him to become the head of a dying clan knowing that he would pursue a way to bring back their once renown prowess. In spite of this she did the same with her own child in the hopes that the intelligence he had inherited would prove to do bring good back into the clan’s fall and possibly their resurrection. Eleven years of traveling around and being turned away from the shelter of most villages that were still know ledged of the clan brought the mother and son duo into the terrible wasteland of the Wind Country. It was a land that their people had outright forsaken due to how uninhabitable it was but there was rumored to be an entire civilization that would take them in to complete the physical training that her son would need to rebuild the Ryuu Clan. At the border of the rough terrain Karagan dropped to her knees and sent a silent prayer to her deities in the hope of a safe journey into what was obvious suicide as they barely had enough supplies to carry them anywhere. However it wasn’t the dragon gods that answered her, but the motherly spirit of the woman who had helped the First Men find their home. Through her Karagan was given visions of where to go, when to travel and when to seek shelter, and how to find nourishment. It was a slow journey but eventually, battered and torn, the two found themselves at the entrance to the great maw that would lead them down into the subterranean Village of Sunagakure.

In the short few months Tama lived in Suna he quickly found himself in the walkway of “true” power after a meeting with an Ancient tapped his deeply locked abilities. During this time he advanced through the Academy at an alarming pace devouring the knowledge of everything the training school had to offer along with what he could get his hands on in the library; a few times he was even able to sneak into some of the more forbidden materials. In just two months alone the child had a working knowledge of both mathematics and scientific theory that was nearly on level with the Seward’s.

Of course a flame that burns so bright is bound draw unwanted attention.

Despite being a quiet loner in the school one fellow student was somehow able to find herself constantly interacting with the boy’s life. Okibi, Bringer of Destruction, is always the last person he wants to be around when he’s seriously into a project, but he can no longer imagine his life without her sheer destruction around to knock him back into a quasi-state of reality. The purple hair girl was the least of his problems though as the month came to an end.
As a sudden disciple to an old Ancient there was bound to be crazy in his life, and Tama had accepted that in order to rise above, fast, he would have to walk a dangerous path. What the scientist couldn’t accept was that this rise of power sacrificed his mother. The thought destroyed gang the owner of the boy’s first feast was a part of resurrected itself and sought swift revenge upon the child. This sudden destruction to everything he knew sent him into a destructive rage that nearly saw himself and the entire lower portion of Sunagakure to be destroyed. (Thread in progress, lol)

After a short few days of recovery a letter arrived for Tama to take a Bashar exam in order to fully commit himself to the warrior class that policed the giant cave structure. With his emotions still raw and his body sore from the sudden aging side-effect of his powers the scientist walked into the exam and conquered it.
Oh and Okibi helped too. Kinda.
Now a new Bashar entered into the system, Tama plans to rise as fast as he can in order to fund the grandest of inventions he places from pen to paper.

Tama is dressed like a guy who goes into a casino to win. Its not exactly understood how the teenager picked up this style of fashion but it seems to work. Though the clothes he wears is often beaten up and grungy looking being that he is a man of intense scientific study. Often when his mind is on a tangent towards a certain subject he will study/experiment with this subject until his body forces him to sleep; the clothes stay on for this process. If the project is one of vast importance to Tama he will wake up and simply continue on where he left off until the next shut down.
Due to this his skin seems to be a sickly pale and his face has a perpetual look of "meh" about it. It is unknown if the teenager ever eats anything but supernatural substances, or if he just somehow has an endless source of power that allows him to continue without mortal supplements but it defiantly shows.
At times he can be seen wearing an even more beat up lab coat that is lined with more pockets than most would allow a coat of that kind filled with all sorts of different ingredients for alchemical study on the go.

His hair is at best considered "long and wild" and is a little past shoulder length, often sporting the look of one who just got out of bed. His right eye is blue and his left is green, the latter one of the sources of his astounding abilities. On the left hand are five seperate runes that run across the knuckles, translating from the Ancient language into "Wander in Defense of the Land", his dead clan's motto.

Tama is more aligned with the thinking type but has the instinct to continue increasing his own physical prowess. Unlike most brainy types the boy prides himself in being able to physically keep up with his age group despite being rushed into it. Yet he knew that his prowess at the time would eventually begin to dwindle since he knew it was destiny that he focused more and more of his time towards studies and creationism. A cure for this problem was solved when he was given holy powers by having a hidden inner power in his blood tapped by an ancient. With the ability to channel naturally destructive powers he is easily able to focus the majority of his time on his projects.
However his methods would undoubtedly be shunned by the general populace due to the natures of some of them, and because of this way of thinking he tends to be a bit offish in general society; it is only those close to the boy that get to know his true creative nature. Though that true nature is slowly starting to become warped...
Character History:
Tama’s history is, even at best, an odd tale.

It all begins long ago with the creation of the Ryuu Clan – a nomadic group of people with no family ties that worshiped dragon deities, and while their prayers were often unheeded the faith was an unshakable one. The very bases of their nomadic lifestyle was through their faith that as they traveled they would eventually come upon a relic that could take them to their god’s realm.
Within that clan, though, were some of the most powerful warriors of their time. Often they would pick up random jobs that either the Villages couldn’t attend to, or were too weak of power to handle themselves. The clan was famous for their large list of secret sealing techniques, powerful offensive elemental jutsu, and lost martial art styles that were only carried on through the clan by the random stragglers they picked up as the nomadic people made their pilgrimage across the land. Everyone was able to relate to the other in some way or fashion and it was made them a family. Yet after nearly a hundred years of travel through the world the clan picked up two stragglers that would shake the very core of the clan down to its knees.

Karagan and Tengokai – A female exorcist from the Mist country and a wild but intelligent male lightning wielder from the Cloud country. The two were at constant odds every day for years as the clan teased them for being lovers before the two finally did become just that. Together they created a son that was the last “true Ryuu” of the clan Tama, and in that same year destroyed the clan from the inside out.
Tengokai was voted to become the next Chief of the clan after proving his power, knowledge, and extensive faith through a set of trails that was to be completed by every chief hopeful, but his reign was short lived. Upon becoming the clan head he was given knowledge that was passed down from every leader and inside that knowledge was a dark truth behind the clan and the location of a weapon they were charged with protecting.

The Blade of Ash was a black sword that had struck down more than just innocent lives but was said to be the cause of some of the greatest calamities in history. The wielder of this blade was instantly granted all the knowledge and powers of its previous owners and with each new owner comes greater destruction. By theory and legend the next man to find that weapon would become the very harbinger of the apocalypse – Tengokai saw it as the savior of the Ryuu Clan. Within the years before his ascension to power a lot of the Villages began to grow ever more powerful and the requests that kept the clan nomadic were all starting to dry up. They were losing followers daily and within another few years the Ryuus would be yet just another page in history.

So for the first time the clan broke rule and deviated from their normal pilgrimage to travel far into the north, chartering a boat that would take them to an uncharted island near the top of the world. In those frozen wastelands the clan began to dwindle daily, not from people turning away but from death. The mad quest of their new chief was what saw the near utter destruction of his people, though it was merciful to what befell them next. Tama was but a fourteen month old child when his father discovered the Blade of Ash and remembered nothing of the destruction that was wrought on the unsuspecting stalwarts of the clan as his father fell into the inevitable madness of the weapon. Karagan and Tama were the only two survivors of this attack, his mother’s precognitive abilities alerting her only minutes before Tengokai descended from the lone mountain on the island and slaughtered the remaining clansmen. With this head start the mother was able to get back to the ship and convinced the crew to sail back, claiming that they were the only two surviving members of the clan.

The journey back through the lands was harsh for the mother and child. Not only because the entire clan she traveled with was gone or because of the guilt she felt burdened with by leaving her mate behind, but more because she blamed herself for his fall and the clan’s demise. It was always her pushing Tengokai to keep his intelligence and to keep up his studies that lead him to become the head of a dying clan knowing that he would pursue a way to bring back their once renown prowess. In spite of this she did the same with her own child in the hopes that the intelligence he had inherited would prove to do bring good back into the clan’s fall and possibly their resurrection. Eleven years of traveling around and being turned away from the shelter of most villages that were still know ledged of the clan brought the mother and son duo into the terrible wasteland of the Wind Country. It was a land that their people had outright forsaken due to how uninhabitable it was but there was rumored to be an entire civilization that would take them in to complete the physical training that her son would need to rebuild the Ryuu Clan. At the border of the rough terrain Karagan dropped to her knees and sent a silent prayer to her deities in the hope of a safe journey into what was obvious suicide as they barely had enough supplies to carry them anywhere. However it wasn’t the dragon gods that answered her, but the motherly spirit of the woman who had helped the First Men find their home. Through her Karagan was given visions of where to go, when to travel and when to seek shelter, and how to find nourishment. It was a slow journey but eventually, battered and torn, the two found themselves at the entrance to the great maw that would lead them down into the subterranean Village of Sunagakure.

In the short few months Tama lived in Suna he quickly found himself in the walkway of “true” power after a meeting with an Ancient tapped his deeply locked abilities. During this time he advanced through the Academy at an alarming pace devouring the knowledge of everything the training school had to offer along with what he could get his hands on in the library; a few times he was even able to sneak into some of the more forbidden materials. In just two months alone the child had a working knowledge of both mathematics and scientific theory that was nearly on level with the Seward’s.

Of course a flame that burns so bright is bound draw unwanted attention.

Despite being a quiet loner in the school one fellow student was somehow able to find herself constantly interacting with the boy’s life. Okibi, Bringer of Destruction, is always the last person he wants to be around when he’s seriously into a project, but he can no longer imagine his life without her sheer destruction around to knock him back into a quasi-state of reality. The purple hair girl was the least of his problems though as the month came to an end.
As a sudden disciple to an old Ancient there was bound to be crazy in his life, and Tama had accepted that in order to rise above, fast, he would have to walk a dangerous path. What the scientist couldn’t accept was that this rise of power sacrificed his mother. The thought destroyed gang the owner of the boy’s first feast was a part of resurrected itself and sought swift revenge upon the child. This sudden destruction to everything he knew sent him into a destructive rage that nearly saw himself and the entire lower portion of Sunagakure to be destroyed. (Thread in progress, lol)

After a short few days of recovery a letter arrived for Tama to take a Bashar exam in order to fully commit himself to the warrior class that policed the giant cave structure. With his emotions still raw and his body sore from the sudden aging side-effect of his powers the scientist walked into the exam and conquered it.
Oh and Okibi helped too. Kinda.
Now a new Bashar entered into the system, Tama plans to rise as fast as he can in order to fund the grandest of inventions he places from pen to paper.
