Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Physical Description:
Ryuu Tama looks to be near his mid to late twenties, despite nearly being 50. After fully balancing the genes of his own natural DNA with the Ancient genes awoken by Mikaboshi, the Hybrid has become what he believes is the ultimate fusion of Ancient and Human. To that extent he ages about twice as slow as normal human being and his body is remarkably healthy, though not overly muscular anymore. Tama also no longer stands with the tallest members of Suna, his size reduced to about 5’5’’, from gene trimming. He theorize that he may not be done growing though, but doesn’t seem to mind the reduction to his height. His clothing changes depending on mood, usually, but in the hospital and in the field he tends to wear a three piece suit. The suit is combat ready, woven with highly defensive fibers made from a mix of Sandworm shell and high quality import cotton from the Lightning Country. The third piece of the suit, the overcoat, has been tailored to look like a lab coat. The design is such that he can look professional without sacrificing style, and most of the village has come to expect him in a lab coat. For that reason he is almost always wearing a jacket of some sort having just gotten used to having the extra layer despite living in the desert.

Character's Mental Description:
Tama is kind of an ass, but generally in a cat like way. Though his extensive life has given him more than enough reason to act this way, he sometimes shows his real age when reacting to the youth, or when placed in a predicament he wants no part of. Blessed with a minor control over time itself, getting out of social events have never been easier for him. This is mostly brought on due to returning to a human form has been nothing short but an emotional roller coaster. Generally the scientist continues to greet the general populace with his cocky personality, but deep down he’s constantly reflecting on the sins his life has wrought. The return to a mortal vessel has reminded him to old survival instincts he had forgotten; hunger, the fear of death, and most annoyingly, emotional attachments. At the very least he has managed to tame the odd phobia he once had towards the female gender and now is able to fully interact with the opposite sex without paranoid overtones.
Yet despite the sins haunting his every waking moment, the scientist tries to push forward with a cat-like attitude, while taking pleasure once more, heavily, in alcohol.

History:

Tama’s history dives back down as deep into the annuls of Sunagakure. Known for his coming and going throughout the timeline, the mad scientist is both revered, reviled, and stands as one of the few remaining living legends of his generation. While now he is of a more stable mentality, even friendly if with alcohol, that wasn’t always the case. Even now, as he plays at trying to be a better person and role model for his daughter, the sins of his past haunts his every moment.

Originally not even a child of the country, his mother traveled the entire continent as an escape from her cursed husband after the man had decimated what remained of the nomadic Ryuu clan. It is said that she chose the desert as a last resort when turned down everywhere else, and Mother Suna lead the woman through the desert to escape Tengokai’s wrath. Pulled through the Maelstrom without a mark, they were the first new comers to Sunagakure’s underground city in a long time, and were welcomed warmly.
Tama’s childhood leading up the Academy was somewhat rocky, but no worse than most kids his age. His mother was an alcoholic, forever running away from the horrors she bared witness to in his father’s actions. Seeing the man’s genius naturally pass on to their child unnerved her on many levels, and sometimes she even took it out on her son. Yet in the end she finally found a friend who was able to talk some sense into her, help her let go of the bottle, and enroll her clearly gifted son into the Academy.
The first few weeks had gone wonderfully. The child excelled in his studies and was already being looked at for grooming in specialty groups. That was, until the fateful night he decided to try testing his most recent project in an ally near his home.
Sunagakure had its problems. Being underground meant tensions ran high almost all the time. To join the military was a decision that most people made just to make enough money to enjoy the rare luxuries stored away, however many found out just how harsh the service was even then…especially back then. Genin who broke rank and quit service retained the skills given to them, but were placed under special watch by the overburdened ANBU branch. Inevitably, some of the rogue Genin eventually slipped through the cracks.
At the age of twelve, Tama was a victim to one of those Genin. A man in his early twenties, down on his luck, and heavily inebriated assaulted the child in an attempt to steal the invention and any money he had. The attack left the child beaten nearly to death before a something, intervened.
The Lord of the Deep Courts, either because he was checking up on the rogue Genin himself or out of sheer chance, caught the act. Before the man even realized what was happening, he was dead, with his soul ripped from his body. Kneeling before the child, Mikaboshi gave Tama the offer of life over what would have surely been death otherwise, and held out the spirit in the form of a small silver ball.

Tama, perhaps unwisely, took the offer.

To this day, the scientist doesn’t know why Mikaboshi chose him, and would rather not know. The soul absorbed into the child, into his body, and activated something deep inside of his genes that Tama doubted either of them had any idea he had. Just like the Lord before him, boiling deep inside of his cells, slept the power of an Ancient. A human soul was fed to those cells, awakening power and hunger that the youth had never known could exist.
Following this came a series of bad choices, with a single good one thrown in there for no reason save possibly fate. A week after he had graduated into Geninhood, somehow, his father had found the village and managed a way inside through an ancient relic that opened small portals. From there he rounded up enough of the rogues in the bad part of the city to form a large gang, then sent some of those men out to kill both Tama and his mother. They only succeeded in the latter after setting the house on fire. Having watched the child survive the assassination, the Ancient Mikaboshi, once again appeared before the child and asked if he wished for revenge.

Again, Tama took the offer.

The massacre that followed only remained unknown due to the fact that Mikaboshi himself took part in the violence of the unknowing apprentice. He warded off Tengokai rather soundly, forcing the man out the same way he entered and sealing it off after nearly killing the cursed father. Tama wouldn’t see any hide or hair of the man for nearly the rest of his life after that point, but it didn’t matter. Any corruption his father had intended to place in the child had been easily settled in under the machinations of the Deep Lord. In the death of the gang members the child had consumed a number of souls, experiencing life after life, and slowly began to fall into madness along with the power he had absorbed.
A month later, without the sup of a human soul, the boy had found he had aged another full year of life. With the money earned from doing the random mission here and there with his new found strength, he had managed to buy out some space in the cheaper parts of town. Aside from living, this space was mostly converted into a fully working lab to ever poke at what he didn’t yet know. After discovering that he had aged so rapidly for seemingly no reason, the budding scientist had a new project to work on. One that ended up staying ahead of all others as with each day that went by, the chill step of death crept nearer.
During the early parts of his experiments, in the attempt to combine the newly minted chakra crystals with his blood, he caused an explosion that destroyed most of his first lab. In this explosion he made a friend; a girl who just happened to walk by and speak to him out of curiosity. The explosion caused a strange effect on her, as she took the brunt of it, in that her hair and irises had turned a soft pink color. Though she suffered surprisingly no harm, her introduction as the Steward of Sunagakure’s daughter sent Ryuu Tama into a small panic. Sousuke was something of a hero of his at that time and he had just exploded science at his daughter.
Which he took surprisingly well. For the rest of that month Tama got to know Sousuke, accepted a small grant for his rather vague research, and became close friends with the girl known as Okibi. At the end of the month she vanished, Sousuke left in search of her for a long time, and Tama aged yet another year from his distractions. The scientist doubled down on his research and cut off all ties to the public; a mistake that nearly cost him his life.

In the years that followed, the scientist slipped further and further down in his morality towards humans. He was a serial killer now, picking off the dredges of the denizens suffering in the furthest reaches of their underground society. At first it was the sick and weak, but as Tama learned that souls reflect their last physical forms, he began to attack healthier citizens more and more. His purpose? The souls he harvested both sustained his current age of fifteen, and he stayed at that age for the last two years so long as he ate one human soul a week. The other side of it was using these said souls in science, ever grasping in the dark for a clue to fix his body and keep from eternally feasting upon his own race. Madness had fully gripped his mind in this time as well. Not only did killing his own people leave him restless at night, but he also made the forewarned mistake of reliving each and every life he consumed. Before long his science turned towards the arcane and the superstitious, he rarely knew who or where he was day to day, and all that mattered was that he keep this rare supply in stock.
It still remains a mystery that no one from ANBU ever touched Tama. In fact, his small reign of terror in becoming the new local boogeyman is what finally attracted a man who was capable of ending the problems the military would not. Uzumoreru Toushin, the greatest assassin his clan ever produced, was the first man to put a blade to the scientist’s throat; something he did quite well.
This would be the first time Ryuu Tama would escape a deserved death by sheer luck. By all means he should of died in the apartment he had feasted his last meal. A blade had been shoved through his right lung, then dragged across his throat, and finally he had been thrown out the window of the third story room. He had learned, on this day, he was very hard to kill. The soul he had collected that night and ate healed his wounds all save a chest cavity that was slowly healing as he awoke in a pile of trash, staring up at a rival scientist standing over him. The man had a special ability to literally being able to grab a person’s chakra coil, however, it did little more than slow down the flow. Tama’s chakra coil wasn’t human, though, and this time the man was able to actually extract the Hybrid’s power that kept the souls inside of him mostly stable. He was left like this, in the pile of garbage, half dead and now aging at a rapid pace again with the screams of the dead tearing his head apart.
It was here that the scientist came across another demon of Suna.

Kitanai, was an assassin, and introduced herself as one of the best. She promised that, if he paid handsomely, she would happily be the best damn bodyguard money could buy. After agreeing to anything to save his life, the femme fatal lifted his broken body and carried him back to the closest lab he could remember.
The assassin brought into Tama’s life three specific things. The fury of revenge, a hate for blackmail, and a deep seated fear of women. Shortly after he had recovered and decided to bathe in their local bathhouse, he met the assassin once more after she, with so little effort, broke the neck of someone the scientist was bathing with like she was taking out garbage. The scene, somehow despite everything he had done himself, traumatized the scientist. Then, along with this new found phobia of women, the assassin also brought to his doorstep increasing prices for her services through a mix of using the knowledge of what he really was, and through a quasi-romantic partnership with the hitman who had originally nearly killed him. Anytime the scientist got uppity or refused to pay, Toushin paid him a close call.
This went on for a nearly a whole year until finally the scientist was able to concoct a device that mimicked the chakra coil by absorbing a human’s natural energy and then reflecting it back out through their circulatory system; exactly as a normal coil would do. With this he was able to regain some of his lost strength and did what he had dreamed of doing since his power was stolen; revenge.
After capturing the scientist who had stolen his power, Tama tortured the man for a number of hours before finally killing him by removing the rival scientists’ own chakra coil. As horribly morbid and vile as it was, this was the original method that the Hybrid used in discovering how to detach, remove, and transplant the actual Coil every human has. With another Coil to replace the one stolen, Tama managed to do a few things to fix his life; fire Kitanai, regain a modicum of sanity, and rise above as one of the greatest medical minds of his generation. As a bonus the new coil also slowed down his rapid aging to near normal rates, and not at all if he simply consumed a human soul; also the voices of those he ate became mercifully silent. Later he would learn than transplanted Coils could be naturally rejected like any other transplanted organ, and that he just happened to be lucky enough that his rival was a match for his blood type.

A couple of months would pass by and the genius had managed to walk away from his vile life in the bad parts of town. He was working his way towards becoming a fully fledged medical shinobi now, his schooling paid for by the grant earned for his Chakra Coil Transplant procedure that he happily handed over. His life finally seemed to be balancing back out towards normal, despite the rocky start to his career with the military, when Okibi appeared at the gates one day in a horrible condition. Tama, of all people, was the first to happen across her beaten and torn body.
Aside from the injuries sustained from walking through the Maelstrom, the doctors reported to the Steward that his ward had faced physical and mental abuse; from the moment she had gone missing they theorized. This incident made Tama drop everything. Projects, research, his schooling; non of it mattered to the man compared to the girl who connected him back to a time before the madness. After months of intense recovery, a little bit of scientific magic, and the support of both Tama and her father, Okibi finally came back around to her normal self. For the first time in his life the scientist felt fully concerned about any other creature or person other than himself, and before he could stop it, caught the feels. She worked with his fear of fairer gender, he brought her back to reality - together they kept each other balanced. Half a year after her return, the rumors of the two’s closeness became more than just hearsay, and they shared dance on Okibi’s birthday that seemed to fully seal it.

Some time later, and the couple was nearly inseparable. Tama had finished schooling and was working diligently in the hospital when Sousuke received news of where Okibi’s kidnappers were located. Together, the trio decided to venture out into the Maelstrom to storm their base and put an end to the last of his lover’s nightmares. In this attack they were successful. They had all taken some physical damage, Tama probably the worst, though by the end he looked as if he hadn’t taken any. During his battle with a twisted Uchiha, the scientist was forced to eat the man’s soul to heal wounds inflicted by the clan’s black flame. However, the one who took the most mental damage that day was non other than Okibi herself after finding a child locked away deep in the facility - a child of her’s, produced by by the abuse she had suffered in her years captured.
They attempted to return to the village, the new mother fully overwhelmed, when the group found the entrance blocked by a member of the Cabal. Sousuke turned them back towards the desert to seek out aid in defeating the man they could not surpass despite the combined strength of Tama and the Steward.
During this journey, shortly after claiming the artifact they would need, Okibi made a decision; she would not be returning to Sunagakure.
The poor girl had not expected this much of simple revenge. She had destroyed those that had brought her harm but in exchange was only given a constant reminder of that pain in the form of a son. She could also only see a bitter future for herself and the child if she continued on and returned to the village, and so after saying some horribly choice words to her father, left into the desert. Torn between duty and love, Tama decided to follow his lover into the dunes beyond, both of them leaving Sousuke with a war to fight by himself, and a new child to raise.
Tama, however, did not get far. He had not consumed a soul in so long that the Uchiha was able to retain his personality, lurking in the back of the scientist’s mind. Once they were a great distance away from Sousuke, the remnants of the evil soul possessed Tama, and tried to kill Okibi. The result was Tama’s lover beating him nearly to death. After the deed was done the woman broke down, stroking her stomach softly while promising the conceived child between herself and the Hybrid a better life. She left his body in the dunes, bloody and broken, and wondered off towards the North.

His body was recovered by Tengokai. While, possibly, there may have been some subtle fatherly reason to save his son the main reason fell down to a prophecy he was trying to see completed. Since his son was a core part of that, the father saved the young man and secretly returned him to Sunagakure during the battle with the Cabal. In Tama’s basement was an experimental pod with fluids that would begin rapidly restoring a body at the cost of lifespan. Teng placed his son in this machine, read the scattered notes on how it worked, and turned it on before making a quick exit before a certain Ancient could notice him; though he suspected the being knew all along.
When the scientist awoke again, he was an old man, and not himself. For a very small moment of time, about thirty minutes, the Uchiha had full control over the scientist’s body before happening across a curious Ancient - Mother Suna. The legendary creature could easily deduce that the man controlling the shell wasn’t the owner, and easily destroyed the creature, allowing for Tama’s soul to take back over his own body. She fed to him the Uchiha’s soul once more, allowing him to recover most of his age but not the fractured memories running through his head. All he could recall was leaving Sousuke, though he had no idea who this man was, only that someone he loved deeply was mad at him. Seeing an opportunity, the Ancient with a religion decided to manipulate Tama against the Steward - for giggles.

So then started another strange part of his life. In disguise, the once renown scientist wandered around Suna trying to figure out how to gain enough power to take on the Kazekage and ‘steal back’ his ‘son’. The Ancient had manipulated him into believing that Aki was stolen away from himself and Okibi, and that he was here to get him back. However after weeks of planning, the scientist realized he was missing more than just power, but also memories. In the back of his mind he knew that there was one being who could help him, and that was Mikaboshi.
A week of quiet murder crawled by as Tama collected enough souls for an offering. He wanted the Deep Courts to fully unleash the power deep in his core in order to fight Sousuke, and the creature vaguely agreed to help, if he could best him in combat.
They two fought on for an hour, an impossible length of time, before Mikaboshi finally broke down his old apprentice’s form into energy and scattered it. This action broke away Tama’s mental fog and all of the memories of who he was reconstructed his body once again as close to a full Ancient as he could get. It was held back only in the fact that his human soul was what held this new form together. With all his memories returned, Mikaboshi forced Tama into pact for this new form, and that it was to never be used against the Steward. The newly formed creature looked down at his hands and agreed, unsure now to what he was at all.
After a year of wandering the desert in search of his missing lover, he finally came across what he believed was Okibi. She was running with a wolf pack, hunting, and turned her head seemingly to regard Tama off in the distance before moving on. The link between them seemed gone, as if he no longer felt like a part of that fight for survival, and quickly began to spiral into a deep depression. The scientist then returned to Sunagakure, quietly, and descended back into the depths he had once managed to rise from.

At first all the being did was attempt suicide. He quickly found that human souls were incredibly indestructible, and that no matter how much he tried to inflict pain on himself, didn’t eat, or expose his form to natural danger, it kept kicking. In the troughs of fury at his trapped existence he began to throw his anger at those around him - the Underground.
At first, it was just something about souls he knew tasted better when the owner was a rather deplorable person. The filthier the sinner, the tastier the soul. In his search for the next delicious meal, Tama accidentally toppled most of the old mafia hierarchy that had been in place since the city slept beneath the dunes. It got to a point that those he left alive began to revere him as some kind of monster, not unlike his former master. Then once he survived an assassination attempt by Uzumoreru Toushin, the assassin king himself, everyone else simply fell in line. Before he knew it, the scientist had built a small empire beneath the city above. Created with violence and manipulation of the forgotten the Hybrid began to revel in everything money could buy. Men, drugs, fine alcohol, and more than enough money to funnel into any ridiculous project he could think of; it was all at Tama’s fingertips.
But it was an escape, and that was all. The deep hole left there by his ex-lover and the depression from all of his own sins weighted down deep on his mind. He grew to resent Suna, Sousuke, and everything else in the pit he had dug into. Eventually it turned into a game to see how far he could push the Steward until he pushed back. A new Kazekage had taken the throne, Sousuke had a lot more free time, and for years Tama played this game of cat and mouse until one day he decided to throw caution to the wind.
While trying to help a young Michino find out who his father was, Tama appeared before Sousuke for the first time in years, and stole off with a girl who was apprenticing under him for the day.

The mad scientist had planned it all. With Sousuke, he knew exactly how much to throw at the man so that, when they clashed in battle, the chances that they killed each other would be high. He wanted to end his existence, but also leave his mark. Toraono Michino was the monkey wrench that threw all those plans. Well that, and a great deal of his army just up and leaving after the Steward gave a merciful speech.
Once the battle started, the man who had once been his hero was far more capable than he planned for, and on top of that Michino was proving to be a capable fighter. Yet, despite the flaws, he was able to land more than a few solid blows on Sousuke, taking one of the Steward’s eyes, and even came close to the fatal blow that would end them both…until Michino grabbed his arm.
There was a trigger of chakra, a familiarity that said ‘family’, and the first person he thought of was Okibi. He swore in that moment he heard her voice before feeling his opponent’s blade tear through his body. In that moment near his death, he saw what could possibly be his son, and for the first time in years actually wanted to live. Unfortunately, in the battles before this, Michino had suffered a broken back from his last opponent, and had finally ran into a limit of how for the Toraono powers could take him. With the finally moments of his life, the scientist tried to save what he thought was his child.
Then Mikaboshi appeared, and reminded the promise they made about attacking the Steward. The Deep Ancient placed his hand on the boy and forced Tama’s healing energy to recirculate between them as he gave the scientist a small reminder about those who betrayed his trust…before granting upon them instead, a rare favor. Mikaboshi healed both of them.
Arrests were made, Tama went under trail, and Michino was taken to the hospital for a check-up. A private DNA test that did show he was at least related somehow to the Hybrid but, their technology wasn’t up enough to exactly determine how closely the two were related. So for awhile, the Toraono thought Ryuu Tama was his missing father.

Sousuke somehow managed to keep the Sunagakure government from imprisoning Tama for his high crimes. Instead the Ancient Hybrid was placed under house arrest at the Steward’s home. There the Takahashi kept a close eye on him as he weened himself off of human souls on a steady diet of fowls’. His other punishment was solving cases for the hospital from the house, never allowed to leave and tend to the patients himself.
After a couple of years the scientist was allowed to finally purchase his own home, near the residence of Sousuke for safety reasons, and then proceeded to be the greatest thorn he could in everyone’s side.
Perhaps it was the lack of human souls replaced with vengeful birds, or more likely the harsh life he had lead left a bitter taste in his mouth; from Underground riches to basic citizenship. Either way, Tama had stopped really caring about anything but being right and proving he was the best at anything he did. This lack of empathy and rise of pride eventually came to a head at Michino’s seventeenth birthday party, where the man whom the teen thought was his father for the last two years proved that was in fact not. With a new device that honed in on exact genes, it told him with a simple colored light bulb that Michino was not his son, but close enough to be direct family. After ruining the boy’s birthday he withdrew nearly completely from society, throwing himself fully into work and trying not to dwell on how the young Toraono was related to him.
A year later, and they both found out.

At a restaurant to celebrate Michino’s upcoming match in Underground Boxing, the cursed Tengokai revealed himself as his missing father, and removed the boxer’s left leg with the cursed sword that ruled Teng’s life. With his leg he stole a bit of Michino’s soul, one of two parts he needed to unlock his weapon’s true form. Sousuke, who was there on a separate occasion with his own social circle, rose in defense while others tried to escort the innocents away from the battle that rocked the Diamond District. Moments after the destructive bout began Tama and the Kazekage, Sunahoshi Katsuo, joined in defense of Michino. As the fight between the three old powerhouses and one possessed mad man tore up the restaurant, Tama saw the battle playing out before him and knew that it was only a matter of time before Tengokai struck someone with that cursed blade.
Seeing that it was finally his time to pay for his sins, he jumped in and took a blow that had been meant for Sousuke. Since the weapon absorbed souls and his entire shell was made out of a human soul, the scientist vanished instantly, save his clothes. A prophecy had been fulfilled, and Teng recieved the second soul he needed. Ryuu Tama had suffered his end at the hands of his own father and the cursed blade, which meant the rise of a dark and destructive force that was supposed to cover the West Lands for a thousand years. However, in his brother’s clothes, Michino found a steel tube in Tama’s empty lab coat. Inside of that tube was a scroll with vague instructions on absorbing an attack. Tengokai maneuvered through the attacks of his opponents before striking down to kill his second son and fully absorb the Toraono’s soul. On instinct the wounded soldier opened the scroll and held it up to take the attack. His father’s attack never connected, and instead, the scroll absorbed most of Teng’s arm. Then the paper began to consume the evil man slowly, causing him to cut off the arm before using the bits of both souls to unlock some of the weapon’s true form.
After being thrown across the room from the clash of sheer power in the eatery, Michino looked down at the scroll that had been thrown next to him and saw the seal had changed to read ‘blood’ and nothing else. Taking a little from his wounded leg, he activated the spell sealed inside of the scroll.
Tama’s secret weapon was a ninjutsu that required a large number of human souls. Having thought about his form and what could possibly kill it, he created a back up to his body; a blueprint for his soul. Having consumed a part of Tengokai’s body, which had an abundance of souls which included his own, the seal was able to mostly recreate Tama’s body. He was returned to his body right before Okibi retreated to the desert, and in that moment broke his own timeline; something the universe would later hunt him over. However with his old strength and human form returned, the three was able to overcome Tengokai and destroy him for good. As a bonus, they also coincidentally prevented an apocalyptic prophecy.

With his human form regained, Tama decided to finally rejoin society. It wasn’t exactly welcomed, though, and so he responded about as bitterly as one could imagine. He worked the longest and most at the hospital, but most of the staff save a few of the higher-ups hated working with him. He was constantly spell-checking nurses notes, switching up surgery schedules, sometimes out right stealing patients, and causing just general chaos. Basically just being himself once again.
However, there was something lurking in the background after his soul. A being called Karma tormented him constantly, claiming to be the Herald of the Universe sent to collect only the most sinful souls. As a being who broke his timeline, a grave sin of Universal Law, Tama was slated to one day suffer untold horrors forever. Yet instead of heed the voice and prepare for his punishment, he instead trapped the Herald inside of his own body and drew on the power of the Universe itself for some time like the heathen he was.
Then a day came when Sousuke came to the hospital in seek of aid regarding his mental status. The scientist recognized the paperwork for a government official and switched up some charts to give Tama time to see Sousuke himself. It was there the Steward revealed his worries and the arcane scientist decided to investigate the weapons the man had used most of his life. After it nearly killed him, he implored Sousuke return to his house where they could preform a ritual to unbind whatever was connected to the sword away from the Steward. Unfortunately the ritual did more harm to either of them than it did help. In the end Sousuke’s physical form was destroyed and Tama was forced to place it inside of a mechanical body. The ritual used to preform that feat further fractured his timeline and released Karma from its prison to rip the scientist out of the current timeline and into a miserable existence, but before it did, Tama took off his most precious item, a ring, and threw it.

For nearly a hundred years Karma tormented him by forcing him to relive his worst mistakes. Every time he tried to alter the events he would die tragically and then forced onto his next mistake. He was finally able to break free of the trap by focusing on finding the one sole thing he truly ever loved; Okibi. Eventually over the years of suffering, he would see a glimmer, and started to focus towards it. Years of repeated deaths and finally he was close enough to see it The ring he had thrown before Karma ripped him way allowed him to focus on the love Okibi had once showed him. The ring represented everything he lived for, and so for a hundred years he searched for the timeline the ring was spinning in. Once it was caught, Tama slipped it back on his left finger.
It was an engagement ring enchanted with a special ninjutsu that allowed it to change sizes corresponding with the user’s chakra. He had originally created it to give to Okibi before they traveled out in seeking revenge, but never got the chance to propose marriage. It was the one thing that had survived after he regained his memories and visited his old house, and as far as he knew, was all that he had left of that time when he was truly happy. The focus on that ring and love eventually broke a crack in his prison he was able to exploit to return to his own timeline.

He hadn’t skipped much time apart from everyone else despite having suffered for a hundred years, but now was vexed with a new issue. His temporal form was broken three times over now. Karma was ever whispering threats into his ear and his body would shift between the ages of sixteen, twenty, early thirties, and sixty. It would happen usually when he injured himself, but sometimes it would also do so for no reason whatsoever. Tama felt he was just barely stable inside of the timeline, and so kept far away from combat until he could create a sustainable form; despite the war looming at their doorstep.
So, thusly, the scientist went back into full hiding again deep beneath the dunes under Suna. There he decided he would try to clone his original body which would have its own stability in the timeline to house his soul in.
His first experiments were completely unsuccessful, as he attempted to pour way too much Ancient DNA into the bodies in an struggling grasp at the power Mikaboshi once gave him. It wasn’t until he met a man who was a professional at creating clones that he learned his mistake had been in not making them human enough. The man helped Tama perfect his cloning technique before returning to his own business in assuring the village stayed supplied for the war. With the perfect clone created, Tama finally fixed the error he had made thirty years ago in consuming that Uchiha.

The new body was a perfect Hybrid. A splice of man and Ancient that was the best of both worlds. Though his mastery over the sky was far more limited than the powers blessed upon him by the Deep Lord, he now had a had a deep understanding of Time’s Flow and exactly how much he could bend without getting Karma’s attention. Between his ability to manipulate time within three seconds and an obscene control over oxygen, Tama believes he might be at his strongest ever, and had planned to live an unstoppable life with the sky...until Okibi herself appeared back at the gates with his actual child.

Affiliated with a known clan: The Toraono - Related by blood to Toraono Michino (same father).[/b]

Physical Description:
Michino was once considered the 'runt' of his clan. He was born in an unusual circumstance and prematurely according to the hospital records and the few things remaining from that forgotten night. Nearly all his life no matter how hard he focused the boy was unable to ever put on much of a build, gain any stamina, or be particularly good at molding chakra. For the longest time he simply remained a student and only passed his third try at the Genin Exam by sheer luck. Yet as time went on and life beat him the boy's Toraono spirit became stronger and stronger. Finally in his mid teens he achieved a growth spurt and started to show improvements in his physical, mental, and chakra departments way beyond what he was once capable of.

He stands at seven feet tall now, with the broad shoulders known to the Toraono males. Though he seems slim in frame, he's still gigantic by normal standards making finding clothing that isn't special tailored nearly impossible. In his body, there isn't a single muscle he hasn't trained into ridged perfection. Despite losing a leg in his battle with Tengokai, the young man has only increased his training, and while he only has one leg to fight with, he still manages to put most shinobi to shame in 1-on-1 fights. Even then, there are still rumors that he’s holding back. On certain missions some even say he turns into a fierce demonic woman, though, it is unconfirmed.

Character's Mental Description:
In his youth most of his peers and many of his students considered the boy to be the quite smol, sitting in the corner. Being a general pacifist for most of his life no one suspected the violent beast that laid waiting underneath. Deep in his mental walls a creature spoke horrible things to him nightly. It eventually began to call itself 'Owari'.
From as far back as he could remember until he was nearly fifteen the split personality tormented him and constantly tried to take over his body to terrorize the world around him he loved so. Eventually through the help of the previous clan leader, Toraono Kuro, the boy was able to control his wild demonic blood and partner up with the other side to attempt to be a better shinobi. At first it seemed like a good thing but eventually the boy came to learn of how violent his Otherside became during missions with fellow Genin. It became such a thing that others in his generation began to fear him. Eventually Michino would drop out of the team he had been assigned to and started working simple solo jobs, then nothing at all. The blow to his confidence due to his Otherside hurt on a deep level and until he had gone through his growth spurt he seemed forever haunted. Then something happened out in the desert during his pilgrimage. Through a trail placed upon him by the Youkai, he learned to accept Owari. Yet shortly after that, the demonic entity inside of him slipped into the background. Without her guided strength, the Toraono had little to help his self-esteem until he had a chance run in against a psychopath named Jiro.
During a fight that put his life on the line he lost the two people he was trying to save. In it he saw the folly of everything he had been working towards up to that point and did something he had never truly done himself; fight back. While the details of how that fight ended continue to elude the boy one thing set in straight - he needed to grow up.
Toraono Michino his notably most known for his stubbornness. He tends to still avoid fights when he can but no longer has a problem stepping in to change a situation he doesn’t like. Since then, Owari has also come back to whisper encouragement into his ear now - mostly in the hopes he’ll let her experience the Human world as they share they can share the same body.

Multiple Personality

Michino's other side to his soul is known as Owari. While at first it was a demon manifested from his blood and broken mind, it has since become an entire entity that is his opposite in many ways. While Michino is more pacifistic, Owari is violent to the extreme. Though they are no longer fully share the same body, his blood on the Youkai Contract and their Souls being twins, he is able to call her out from her realm to possess his body. Even then she's almost always looking over his shoulder, watching his life through his eyes; always waiting. Her goal, as it always is, is to find a way to stay in the Human Realm, thus making Michino something of a high-strung person sometimes. The seal on his chest can be activated to reel the demonic twin back into her realm, but if he slips up and lets his guard down, she can and will posses his body.

History:
Michino was born prematurely and malnourished. Even in the Toraono clan marriages and relationships get messy sometimes and often they are dealt with swiftly when discovered. Rarely are they done in anything but a nurturing manor. However Michino's mother was of one who wasn't even aware she was pregnant.
His father, a walking pawn of the old Ancients, was unknown at the time when the boy came into the world suddenly one night. Michino’s mother was attempting to cook through pains she mistaken for menstrual cramps, when a true pain of birth wracked through her body; causing her to immediately drop to the ground. Her mouth opened to try and scream, though no sound would come. For a few moments the poor girl thought she was under attack until she focused on where the pain was coming from. For the next three hours she fumbled through both child birth and calling her clan mates to assist her; the latter of which were too late. Laying cold and screaming on the ground, held in the dead clutches of his mother, Michino was given his first taste of the world. It is still unknown why the birth came so suddenly, why it killed his mother who was a member of the Suna Black Ops, or why her corpse looked like it had been mummified.

While the tragedy of his mother's death hung on minds of her immediate family for weeks to come the entire clan took it upon them to raise the young woman's child. The first three months were rough and unsure as he teetered on the verge of death from malnutrition but with the careful touch of the clan's best he pulled through. From there he rolled headfirst into his childhood as he showed all the signs of a healthy Toraono child; right up until the training began. Since his mother was of the Hyou side of the clan, a rare dying part of the family, most of his training was focused on whatever he excelled in but since the entire clan called him "son" Michino was pushed to dabble in a little more of everything more than most of his kin.
For almost any child, this was a guaranteed path to bring honor to the family and for a genius talent being able to train into so many different disciplines would make them invincible by the time they hit the Academy; however the poor boy was neither of these things.

He showed some ability with handling illusions, particularly ones that allowed for self manipulation to allow for temporary strength. However his talent for chakra control and physical prowess were non existent for years. It wasn't until after entering the Academy did he finally build up some stamina through sheer determination to train and be better. Yet like a realistic show about life no matter how hard the little Toraono pushed the world seemed bent on pushing back even harder. His grades were mediocre, his talent in taijutsu lied only in knowing the technique but hardly had the strength to follow through and his "gift" for illusions got little better than it did when he was first training.

The Adolescent Years:
The last half of his first year as Genin picked up for a while until one Winter. A mission to make a delivery of flowers to the port was given to him and two other fellow level shinobi. It was simple and meant to be a mission to help the three boys grow; and it would have been too. All the way up until they were leaving the port did things run smooth. Payment for the mission had been immediate and, after splitting the earnings, the three thirteen-year olds decided to take a chance and see some new stuff. Michino did this by buying some new clothes that looked durable enough to handle his lifestyle. The other two decided to sneak into a bar and see how far they could take shenanigans. While things had seemed to go all well and good, they even stayed a few nights, on the way out of town and back onto the road they were ambushed. A shinobi rogue of their village had seen the two boys in the bar and after a few days of festering his mad mentality the man decided to kill them in a twisted revenge scheme that only made sense to, of course, himself.

The attack went off as an expert would have pulled it. Even unaware of the danger, Genin were still a class of shinobi, and the three put up a fight that lasted all of about twenty seconds. One had become gravely injured via a tear in the stomach from powerful taijutsu and the other, whom had been the "powerhouse" of the group laid broken and near dead somewhere off in the dunes close to the road. Michino was in no better shape as the killer had decided to take his time with the last one; a mistake he never got the chance to repeat. Each blow the teenager faced brought something closer and closer to the surface of his mind even as his vision turned black. All he could think of was the failure after failure that was leading up to a death he couldn't even believed was happening. The mental strain of both pain and regret caused a piece of his ego to snap off and steep itself in the power he always dreamed of having. Power, that he had laying dormant like a panther in a tree.
The boy with the ripped stomach described the next few moments as "abnormal", the way Michino suddenly caught the rogue's attack with a single hand. There was a heavy push of sand and chakra stemming from his friend for about a single second before the man crumpled in a pile of broke. The day was nearing noon when all of this happened but the witness remembered everything being ice cold before he blacked out from the pain.

Neither of the three teenagers know how they got back. Guards posted at the gate claim they never saw the trio walk up only that they "appeared suddenly" in a collapsed heap of broken kids. Michino recovered the slowest of the three as whatever he had done caused a terrible strain on his body. For two weeks he was unable to even walk. During the downtime between physical therapy he requested to suddenly start studying the history of his family. A brief investigation was launched into how a Genin was able to take down a high risk target with such ease only after his comrades were in critical condition but found, at the very least, no foul play on Michino's part. It never was discovered what happened that day but from then on the teenager took at least one part of his life more seriously; finding balance. While he has no memories of actually being able to use the power, he did "watch" himself use it and has since never doubted the idea that something else inside of his blood may not actually be part of the Toraono clan.

Mid Teens:
In the following year once he regained use of his legs the teenager began to show some improvement in his talent all around. The experience seemed to work towards the positive as far as most was concerned, yet the entire time he was being tormented by something. It had been awakened in a time of need and was no longer sleeping peacefully inside of his blood. The killer instinct inside hated the way the Toraono attempted to take each day carefully, and often mocked him for it. Some days were better than others, depending on how strong Michino's will power was that day or even his type of breakfast. Most days, though, a deeper version of his own voice whispers horrible things in his ear that are always thoughts in the back of his mind. Most of the time it appeared to torment him during conversations with other people or when he's attempting to study text. He had even began to stay away from mirrors as every once in a awhile he'll catch a demented look on his own face, knowing he's not making it physically. As such, the boy began to take up more and more solo missions, only partnering up with someone else when he really needed it, as often enough they tend to avoid him afterwards. During moments of high stress, especially when using his chakra, the "other side" was able to take greater hold of his actions. Sometimes it lead to his teammates to view him as a cold and uncaring person as the other self is far more ready to attack and maim where Michino would rather trick and subdue. The problem then one day got to a point that his friend nearly died and would have if he had not forced the darkness back enough to help him. It was around that time his friends started to stop calling on him or accepting his request for partnerships. The voices only began to grow louder.
Then one day after training the boy had a complete physical shut down. His conscious was transferred into a mental world created by his Id, which was being possessed by Owari. Had it not been for Toraono Kuro being able to enter the mental plane of existence himself, the teenager would have easily been eaten by his demonic self and died. The interception made by the Demonbeast King allowed the two to share a common ground as they both separately admired Kuro for their own reasons. Together they realized they were where two separate parts of the same mind and were able to fight down a physical manifestation of the demonic blood that flowed through them strong - stronger than most Toraono. Once the beast had been controlled the boy seemed to have little trouble with his Otherside taking over and even started to work with it again on harder missions though this eventually lead to more fear towards him.

Eventually a strange message would be given to him in the form of an old notebook he'd use to write in to keep his nightmares less...horrible. The journal had been thrown out a long time ago but he had awakened to find it next to his night stand with the words "Your Father is connected to the Tower," written on the only remaining page that had not been tore out. The only tower Michino could think of was the one that belonged to the Kazekage. During his visit he by chance met the previous Kazekage, Takahashi Sousuke; just as well by chance they were attacked by a man they were speaking of.
Ryuu Tama, a mad scientist with a sordid past, revealed himself before his old friend in the first time in years for reasons that seemed like suicide as he kidnapped a random young girl and threatened her life before disappearing. Mentioning that the crazed kidnapper was possibly the father Michino was seeking the two paired up to go rescue the girl and deliver a beating. In the fight that ensued the boy managed to have his back broken by a powerful boxer from the underground circuits that were still going despite Sousuke's best efforts. A mysterious power rose up in the boy at that time. A power that even Owari didn't know of, and was so terrified by it retreated from Michino's mental plane and into an old relic he carried on his person.
The power that overtook him gave him control over a shadow that attacked the mind as much as it attacked the body. It also allowed him to control his body despite the broken spine and through it he was able to defeat his opponent. He then squared off against his father with the Steward. In the end it was the revealed to Tama that the boy was his son, and the distraction allowed an end to the fight with no one dying, but the power that had held up the teenager now fled away. It left his Otherside trapped away in a relic, far from his reach, and his back still broken. Through a selfless act, Ryuu Tama sacrificed a bit of himself and healed the injury, before willingly turning himself over to the ANBU. In turn it crumbled the entire Underground Empire he had slowly built up over the last decade.

Despite having found his father, the relationship he had wanted was anything but. Ryuu Tama was of a lineage of Ancients that had an impossible pride and after a few months the old scientist seemed just aggravated by his son's mere presence. The man obviously was not father material and thus Michino turned his affection towards the man who was helping him - Sousuke and his family. He also ran across a trio of goons that proved to him just how weak he was as he and the girl who had managed to beat them into submission once came back with a vengeance. Through luck and a kiss they were able to avoid being caught, but Michino saw a weakness inside of him that needed to be cured.
Looking for a reason to change his outlook on life and he turned to the religion of Mother Suna and decided to go on a pilgrimage into the desert to try and find more balance in his life; as well as forget the stinging words of his hateful new parent. It is unsure what happened in the three weeks he was out in t he Godsfall but the boy returned having grown over six inches and with what appeared to be a completely different body. From there his talents improved and his strengths only got stronger but he was still lacking in something. It was through fate that somehow a shop owner in the Underground got a hold of him and begged him to save the life of himself and his wife from a psycho.
It was there that Michino met a man named Jiro, who was an older shinobi who had been trained by the infamous Akkuma. He overwhelmed the poor Toraono without even really trying, and during the battle the lives of the shopkeeper and his wife were lost.
This lost triggered something again in the boy. He realized that Owari was gone, mysteriously unable to speak to him, and that he was by himself now. He only proved to himself over and over again how bad he was - it was time to step up and change. The fire that had started due to explosions in the store surrounded the two combatants and with a grave injury the boy raised his knuckles up ready to fight.
The ensuing fight caused them both to knock each other out, but they were both saved by ANBU. About a week later, Michino woke up in the hospital and was able to give a report on all that had happened.

Late Teens:
The one thing he was sure of was the need to change. A few weeks later after recovering from his injuries and going through court for burning down most of the Black Market, (he was found innocent), the boy went into full physical therapy and started training himself in the arts of combat with more fierceness than he had ever shown before for anything. The last six to seven months of sixteen he did nothing by train himself both physically and mentally until he hit the natural wall of how far he could take himself.

This eventually turned into his boxing career. While looking for a place to really get some practice without having to worry about shinobi regulations, and to take out the anger Tama spurred, Michino found a strange home in the Underground.
At a dive bar that held no-rule 1-on-1 matches, the young Toraono found a place to give his fists the carnage they sought, and the adrenaline his brain demanded. It was there he met the daughter of Uzumoreru Toushin - Chiyo. In a single night they hit it off and became nearly famous in the Underground as a power couple; despite Toushin’s attempts at first to kill him.
His life was looking up, for once, but like all stories of rising pride, the bitch hand of fate struck him down. The mysterious father of his birth finally revealed himself as he attacked Michino, Chiyo, Sousuke, and the diner they all attempted to celebrate at. In the battle that ensued, Tengokai removed Michino’s left leg and the soul attached to it before outright killing Ryuu Tama. Through the assistance only of Kazekage Katsuo and Sousuke was the injured Toraono able to ressurect his dead half-brother and bring and end to the fight.

However without a leg and the way his injury was garnished caused a great deal of new pains. For one, due to lacking a soul from his knee down, Michino had the luck of never worrying about ghost pains…but it also meant the current technology for shinobi prosthetics wouldn’t work either. After 3 months in a deep depression and near total seclusion, his girlfriend finally had enough and put her foot down. Hard.
Michino was forced out of his run-down home in side of the Toraono Dojo and into her apartment. From there she cared and nursed his mentality back, but not enough for him to regain any desire to do anything.
Then one night her father, the bastard Uzu, stepped by and picked a verbal fight with Michino. Using only the harshest of barbs the assassin picked at the twenty year old until he lunged at Chiyo’s father in an attempt to honestly kill him. While it was easily deflected, Toushin used this moment to remind the ebony youth that he still had a fighting instinct. So long as he had that, he had a reason to continue swinging.
With a burning passion put back into his soul, and through the enlisted help of both Tama, Chiyo, and even Toushin, the man was able to cobble together a way to fight using mostly a mix of ninjutsu. Yet it wasn’t quite enough to re-enlist back into their military. Then one night, as he pondered how he would regain his strength, an old but familiar voice whispered into the back of his head;

“Just use my leg.”

Owari, who had stayed silent for years, returned to his mental plane one night with a plan to help him. The creature who had at one time was nothing more than a force and a voice now projected a strong female image into his mind as she spoke. For the last few years, she too had been training. Through the help of the Youkai’s upper echelon, Owari was able to forge a body on their astral plane. However, since they were connected in both Contract and Soul, she could possess his body when he needed and thus give him a leg made of Cursed Chakra to display his true power. With his handicap now a lure to underestimate him, the Toraono began to once more train his body completely through the help of his demonic half.

Birth/Real Name:
Uzumoreru Toushin
Physical Age: 67
Race: Human
Height: 6' 1''
Weight: 212lbs
Gender: Male
Day of Birth: July 22nd
Zodiac Sign: Cancer
Village: Sunagakure
Alignment: Lawful Evil
OOC Rank: -
Village Rank: Mercenary
Languages: Common
Skin tone: Sun Kissed Tan
Eyes: Golden
Hair: White

Appearance:
Uzu holds the appearance of a dashing gentleman. His hair and beard, once kept short by habit, have grown and been groomed into beautiful locks. The man who was once the self proclaimed "King of Assassins" has now grown more into the look of his proclamation. While his dress changes in color it always sticks to the same attire out of necessity: button down long sleeved shirts, a black leather vest, slacks, and knee high boots. On his left hand most of his fingers have golden rings of different shapes and a long silver necklace with a golden charm at the end hangs from his neck. The assassin is missing his right arm from a battle with Ryuu Tama. His facial hair covers most of the scars that cover his face except the one on his neck that stretches down across his left bicep and the one across the bridge of his nose. The rest of his body is covered in more scars than he cares to explain, thus his clothing and choice of appearance hides most of them.

Personality:
Toushin, at first meeting, generally comes off very serious and grim. He is an ex-assassin, a part-time spy master, and a living legend among those in the Shadows. However the man has long forgone staying serious all the time since becoming a father. His daughter, Chiyo, and late-lover Suchiru Amejisuto brought him out of the despair and darkness he had dwelled in all his life that had drove him into becoming suicidal since the fall of his clan. However Ame's stubbornness to force him to live life and his daughter's innocent love for him eventually softened his stone heart. Thus once he believes he can trust a man he will often warm up and speak to them plainly because, of course, if he ever finds out their lying to him he can always set something up later.

History:
The Uzumoreru story starts in Sunagakure. The Uzumoreru clan has existed along side the history of Suna since it's inception. The clan's creation has been lost to time though three prevailing legends that survived time say that it was one of the First Men, a man of powerful greed that wanted to be like the Ancients and have his own kingdom. Or a pissed of Sky Court Ancient that wanted to rule men with his own set of twisted rules. Another is that they were created by another, stronger, deity to help keep the balance between men and Ancients so that nothing would change.
The clan was steeped in old legends, prophecies, and myths. They tended to be a superstitious lot and the upper echelon stayed to the shadows while the lower tiers blended in with regular society. To those who knew of them they were more like a cult in the old days, but after the Rebellion and having been forced to retreat into the caverns, they became more for what they were known for in the present; killing people. The clan turned it into a fine art for profit as it was the only way they could survive and continue to practice the skill that had remained from the devastation of the Rebellion. To that end they burrowed deeper than most Sunans and built a grand castle deep in the caverns for themselves and those accepted into their clan to live as they continued to blend in with society from afar. After a few years a internal war rose up that lasted for ten years in deciding who would rule the clan. Multiple families had become part of the Uzumoreru in the years that followed their underground movement but according to ancient text only one could rule. In the end only one bloodline was allowed to become royalty while two others were completely purged. Once the first king and queen were placed in their thrones they bid that ancient magics that would allow them to see the future be used to celebrate their victory. The spell chosen was costly but the words were clear: the child with the black blood will save the clan. For some that meant money; for others redemption. It was no secret that most families hated living in the castle that was once cramped and now haunted. Yet another two generations would pass before Toushin, the child with the black blood, would be born.

By the time he was born the clan had been whittled down into three bloodlines. The castle was extremely empty, the training started as soon as he could walk, and no one was his friend. Toushin never knew either of his parents for, according to prophecy, he was not allowed to. His dark and horrible childhood was filled with torture, torment, and death; the ideal childhood of the perfect assassin. Before he was twelve he had the skill of a Jounin level ninja and not a single emotion. Due to this he began to become famous over the years and not just in his community but in the Underground in general. This was the first step to his own personal downfalls. Slowly he started to understand and harbor the emotion of pride. Having never been praised over anything he had done as a child to be flooded with it as a teenager overrode his assassin training. By the time he was in his late twenties he had the cockiness that would expect from a man who proclaims himself as the "Prince of Assassins" due to his royal heritage.

The second downfall of his career was when the Science Wars in Suna started ramping up. Being stuck underground meant a lot of crazy inventors were coming up with great ideas that others who strived for stardom for no work had need of. He was contracted by a jealous scientist to kill his rival outright; a man named Ryuu Tama. It wasn't the first time he had encountered a scientist in his line of work, but it was the first man he was paid to kill and didn't. For the scientist had in his employ his own assassin that was his bodyguard. In all the years Uzu had been a killer of men never had he encountered a woman as beautiful as her and never had his blade been so still at the sight of someone. She offered a trade; a night of passion for Tama's life. If only the assassin had slid the blade across the inventor's neck right then, then so much misery could of been stopped. Toushin's pride, however, felt it needed a reward by breaking some taboos.

Before long Uzu fell in love with the woman only to find out that she was married. Just as he used his body in service to his job so had she, and at first he felt betrayed and enraged for falling for such an easy trap...until she came looking for him. Their affair continued in as secret as they could make it but before long the assassin's heart began to mend itself through their secret love. In time he came to find that he hated his lifestyle and decided to break himself away from the Uzumoreru clan permanently to live a peaceful life as a weapon instructor at the Sunan Academy. With his network of strings to pull getting his wishes were simple and the remaining two bloodlines were only too happy to get rid of the heir to the throne. It was then things began to fall apart for the poor assassin. The woman he had left everything for decided her love for her husband was stronger however a greater problem prevailed; she was pregnant with children from both men.
Twins; two girls.
The news all at once terrified and escalated Toushin. The woman's husband was not a man to be trifled with and was more than capable of killing the assassin even if he tried to strike first...yet the thought of being a father - outside the clan - thrilled him.
So he kept to a quite life of personally training a red-headed teenager named Amejisuto, whom he only did as a favor to Ryuu Tama who pretty much black-mailed him every chance he got. Months went by somewhat peacefully and he was proud to say that his student was coming a long fine...but as a way of life for a man who has the karma of a hundred souls weighted on his soul, things never stay nice.

The Uzumoreru clan, now being lead by the last remaining bloodline after another war fired up and ended since his leaving, decided to kidnap Amejisuto in order to lure Toushin into a trap. Immediately he knew that if he tried to rescue her himself he was doing what they wanted. So with a great helping of humble pie, the assassin approached the only man who had the power to take on an entire clan of killers and walk out alive; the only person he didn't kill when given the chance.

Upon finding out that his friend Amejisuto had been kidnapped the scientist, whom now had control over his chakra and a wide array of ninjutsu, stormed the castle by himself and destroyed the remaining Uzumoreru clan in a fit of fury while Uzu rescued Ame. In the aftermath of the Ryuu's wrath there was nothing left of the assassins and their castle was left in ruins. In order to fully absolve the clan's sins and bring justice to all the men, women, and children their black order had killed, Tama placed on Toushin a seal that would lock away his unique chakra channels and keep him from ever using the special techniques that his clan had drove into his body. With the Uzumoreru destroyed, his lover gone, and Ame once again in the safe hands of her blacksmith family, Toushin decided that he needed to leave Sunagakure behind. Right as he had planned to leave and brave the malstorme he heard rumor of a woman who just gave birth to twins of two different fathers. The assassin dropped everything and infiltrated the hospital to find the two twin girls swaddled behind a glass window. Two medical charts hung from their cribs, one stating the known father, and the other as unknown.

An hour later and Toushin was at the gates with his daughter in a protective papoose carrier. As he waited for his expertly forged documents to be cleared Amejisuto came walking up behind him. She didn't speak a single word and kept a solemn look of determination as she presented her passport and went on ahead. After a few moments the fake documents were cleared and Uzu followed after his pupil with curiosity. Standing there before the gates with the deadly wind howling at her back, the sixteen year old girl faced the man and demanded that he take her wherever he went. She started to go into a speel about how he would need care for the child she hoped was his, there was still training she needed, and so forth, but before she could continue the assassin laid a finger to her lips and only nodded. Together they braved the winds. A year later the Cabal attacked those same gates.

The two moved into a house Toushin built with his saved up funds on the outskirts of Soon's Haven. In the next six years the two spent their life together raising the daughter Uzu had fathered but repressed any feelings they had towards each other due to their Master/Student relationship. Yet the port of Soon had grown to know and love the couple and eventually gathered together to push the two into the relationship they both kept trying to hold off even though it was more than obvious they meant everything to each other. For three years the assassin lived and enjoyed life for the first time, truly, ever. In that time he picked back up his physical training and started to train their daughter on the basics of combat and chakra control.

When his daughter turned ten Ame got a letter from her father that was only sent to her because he finally passed away. Inside of it was a map and a letter that wrote in the wear abouts of a legendary sword that had been lost to their clan. The location was only recently discovered and it had cost her father everything to keep that information private. She saw it as something she had to do. Uzu wished to go with her but besides having to watch after the child he was also starting to build up a small spy network to get himself a little extra money for their family on the side. To this very day he regrets not going with her.

After a grueling journey through the mountains of the Lightning Country she came upon the sword she had sought; along with an Ancient. His reasoning behind was never revealed as when the swordswoman recognized the man as Tama she immediately dropped her guard. The monster that had once been her friend killed her in a single blow. After absorbing her soul and memories it found out that Uzu still lived. To torment the man he had known the Ancient branded Ame's forehead with his dead clan's symbol, severed her head, and sent it to the assassin in a brown paper package. Uzumoreru Toushin's fury that day rivaled the gods.

Without thinking twice about how Tama had managed to overcome the powerful swordswoman that had been his wife he set up his daughter to be taken care of by close friends in his spy network, cut his long growing hair short, and opened a chest locked away in the back of his closet. Inside was clothes and the weapons of his old trade along with a few relics that were able to seal evil without the need for chakra or energy. After pulling a few strings and gathering the right documents the furious man crept into Suna and started gathering information. In a week the ex-killer located the Ancient's secret location inside of the ruins of Suna's old cities.

He thought he had everything planned out. Six holy traps, three runic weapons, and an arsenal of blood activated scroll sealed ninjutsu. Yet the moment Ryuu Tama covered his face with the hood of his Ancient robes the power that radiated from the creature defied everything Toushin believed in. He wasn't facing some demon or a bio-engineered humanoid. The thing before him might of well been a god. The traps were swatted away, the weapons did minimal damage, and every single ninjutsu thrown at the Ancient was either absorbed or reflected. Yet thankfully the assassin had the foreknowledge to have an escape route planned and though he lost his right arm and part of his left foot in the attempt, Toushin made it out alive.

Shortly after getting back to Soon the assassin wasted no time in placing his daughter in the protective custody of friends inside of Suna where he knew she would be most safe; however they were given express instructions that her real identity not be revealed to anyone. He then went and burned down his house and went on a journey to find a way to destroy Ancients or at the very least seal their powers so they could be killed by normal means. It has been five years since Toushin started his journey and now he returns to Soon uncut hair and ragged clothes. With the wisdom gained in the last five years the ex-assassin started back up his spy-network, changed clothes, and began amassing large amounts of old relics, books, and rare metals. In all of this he did manage to send his daughter a single letter promising a visit soon.

Once he got to Suna, though, he found things in far more disarray than he had expected. His daughter was out going into the ends of Suna he had hoped she would be kept away from. In his anger he perhaps acted a bit too harshly against his daughter's lifestyle and nearly ran her off. However over the following year he was able to come to an understanding. She reminded him of himself so much he was terrified to see her go anywhere or do anything but he knew that just like himself, when Chiyoko wanted to do something, she did it. As to such he decided to protect her the only way he could - from the shadows. In the earlier part of the year in his return the man learned that Ryuu Tama was no longer the evil that was ruling the Underground and a small war had broken out underneath the notice of the city above. Calling in on his spy network from Soon he gathered a team of six and went in to do the exact same thing Tama had done nearly thirteen years ago.
Now he was the Shadow King. He ruled the Underground with the very tips of his fingers but kept his identity a complete secret to everyone but two people - his daughter and Takahashi Sousuke. The latter is something he just suspects rather than it having been information he passed on freely as since his takeover the violent crime rate in Suna dropped a whole 36%. With his iron grip on the Underground two things have been made clear -

You don't ask who the Shadow King is and you don't even look at Uzumoreru Chiyoko.

Wind Valkyrie
Warriors of the skies, Wind Valkyries channel their element with an adept grace not seen in any other battle style. Masters of the wind and controller of your oxygen, they are incredibly hard to lock down and hit due to their natural affiliation with their element. As natural manipulators of air these rare breed tend lean towards quick thinking with those who take their skills in battle planning their attacks ten steps ahead of their opponents. Once you think you got a Wind Valkyire in a corner is when the real fight starts.

623c1e11281858995fc3f870c6e989a2.jpg
Graceful Attack - Passive
Wind can be channeled instinctively through their bodies, allowing the Wind Valkyrie ninja to be proficient in making their attacks flow more efficiently.
Effect: Performing a Wind action grants the user +2 Accuracy for the remainder of the round.

rJGgEa.jpg
Tempest Force - Passive
The wind-infused techniques of user can strike with enough concussive force to create a small shockwave of wind, which though weak, may still cause damage to those nearby.
Effect: When the user deals Wind Damage, any who have attacked them, or have been attacked by them, during the previous 10 seconds (to include the target they are currently attacking), automatically take Wind damage equal to 10% of the attack's base damage. This damage does not count as attacking or hitting those targets.
Note:
- If the triggering attack had hit multiple targets, the "10% of damage dealt" would be based on whichever target had taken the most damage.

68c5b62fda9ee4f14349b2ef22b0b152.jpg
Air Superiority - Passive
Among all shinobi, the Wind Valkyrie find themselves at home in the skies. Anyone attempting to challenge them within their domain unprepared may quickly find themselves plummeting back down to harsh reality of the ground.
Effect: Targets sent Airborne by the user take +15% damage and cannot act reflexively, lasting for the remainder of their Airborne status. This effect may be applied to targets that are Airborne without the user's influence if the user hits the target with a Wind attack.

3483a7e34d9df25910759adfe75918c7.jpg
Disorienting Gale - Dependent Special Move
A key to the Wind Valkyrie's method of fighting is the unrelenting gales they assault their enemies with. As if their nimble movements did not make it difficult enough to strike at them, enemies of the Wind Valkyrie must also fight through the winds working against their attacks and concentration.
Effect: May be used with a Wind attack for +10% CP. Targets hit by this attack suffer a -2 penalty (to both Accuracy and Gen DC) for the remainder of the round.

Galeforce - Independent Special Move
Restriction- C-Rank and up
A special technique among the most adept of wind user's, they may shroud themselves in wind chakra to significantly increase their movement speed. This heightened agility is incredibly brief, and leaves their body disoriented and heavy for a short time immediately after.
Effect: For 0 AP, the user may increase their current and max AP by up to 2.5 for the remainder of the current round, at the cost of increasing CP costs by +20% during this round. The user will lose AP equal to this amount at the start of the following round (affecting their current AP at that time, but not maximum). This move cannot be reused until the next round (where they borrowed AP from) ends.

7c4a09e3f78d0eb83c0dfedead991eab.jpg
Tornado Zone - Independent Special Move
Developing from a simple gale and transforming it into a disruptive force in an attempt to clear the battlefield, a Wind Valkyrie may blow away effects which may impede them or otherwise aid their enemies.
Effect: 1.5 AP and 2.5% Max Cp. Strikes a target of the user's choice at Ninjutsu Accuracy with a cyclone of wind. Upon hit, the target has a 50% chance of having a random B-rank or lower maintained Jutsu dispelled; this chance repeats every 5 seconds the cyclone remains affecting the target (the Ninjutsu check is only made during the initial attack). Upon a miss, the cyclone lingers on the battlefield without affecting anyone. The cyclone may be targeted (it has no stats and cannot dodge), and has HP equal to 5% of the user's Max CP. Lasts 20 seconds, or until destroyed.

5f60e1edcb0530c0b1f7bed396197c6d.jpg
Nimbus - Independent Special Move
As warriors of the sky, the signature trait of the Wind Valkyrie is their capability of using the winds they wield to carry themselves through the air.
Effect: The user can fly. At the cost of 1 AP they may choose to inflict the Airborne status to themselves and subsequently may end any effect which forcibly inflicts the airborne status (including this one) for the same cost. Costs 2% Max CP/Rnd.

8550592e190a8931f743a59d12e37b02.jpg
Uplift - Dependent Special Move
A master of the winds can command gales possessing such concentrated force that, although perhaps not as destructive as other elements, can most certainly launch their targets off their feet. Having a variety of uses, from keeping a dangerous enemy away or simply "assisting" a slow person up a flight of stairs.
Effect: By paying +20% CP, the user may have a Wind attack send any target hit by it Airborne for the next 3 seconds. May be used once per round.

6921292b8809b83b8281c090974d0cb0.jpg
Airstrike - A-Rank Wind Ninjutsu
The ultimate technique of the Wind Valkyrie, the user creates a large vortex of wind in the sky which draws in anything not nailed to the ground, before directing this violent force of air --and those swept up by it-- crashing toward the ground.
Rank 1: Deals 4070 Wind damage at +1 Ninjutsu Accuracy to a single target + any amount of Airborne targets. Airborne targets hit by this attack have their Airborne status ended, and take an additional 2% Max HP damage in addition to the damage dealt by this attack.
Rank 2: Deals 4680 Wind damage at +2 Ninjutsu Accuracy to a single target + any amount of Airborne targets. Airborne targets hit by this attack have their Airborne status ended, and take an additional 3% Max HP damage in addition to the damage dealt by this attack.
Cost: 3 AP, 2500 CP

Temporal Strider said:

Temporal Strider
Temporal Striders are born seemingly apart from the world at large, some form of anomaly in the framework, unknown to ordinary existence. While they grow and age as human standards dictate, they are capable of seeing a tear in space and time and interact with those tears to distort and manipulate the flow of time to their whims. While they cannot play with time on a greater scale, mere seconds are all they need to gain an upper hand in combat and once they do learn to control their unique power, they can do more than just play with time.

Kinjutsu Table
Information
Prerequisites: Kinjutsu Application, B-Rank, 3 Ability Slots

Effects:
- The user's Temporal Strider skills have priority over any other action occuring at that same time.
- The user may not lose more than 2 AP in a round due to the effects of others (e.g: Suppression, Max AP reduction and such)
- The user can carry over up to 2 AP that has not been used from the previous round. You cannot start a round with more than 12 AP and any excess AP are loss.
- At any point in a round, you can spend either 1 or 2 AP to trigger an Epoch. You can only choose one Epoch each round and whenever you activate one, you regain the spent AP for the following round as if it has not been used.

Epochs - Mastery over time allows a Temporal Strider to utilize their given time to produce a wide variety of law-defying effects and brief, but momentous events.
  • Haste - Grants you or a target of your choice +3 Dodge/Save and 10% Auto-Dodge for 2 seconds for every 1 AP spent. (minimum of 2 seconds).
  • Slow - Grants you or a target of your choice -3 Dodge/Save for 2 seconds for every 1 AP spent. (minimum of 2 seconds).
  • Flow - For every 1 AP spent, you can reflexively force an action to be modded as normal timing.

World Standstill - Kinjutsu Ability
Ipgr3ag.png

Perhaps the most frightening ability of a Temporal Strider is their capability of halting time for very short periods. To the unknowing, it could even appear as if the Temporal Strider is conjuring attacks from from thin air, or warping from one space to another, unaware of them moving very regularly in a time seen only by themselves. Though exhausting to the user, even the briefest of extra moments can offer a momentous advantage during battle.

Information
Prerequisites: Temporal Strider

Effects: The user may stop time, which acts as a "round-within-a-round" occuring at that point. The duration of this sub-round may last 1, 2 or 3 seconds (user's choice). While time is stopped, only a Temporal Strider may perform actions, while all others are "paused" and immune to all actions which hit them in a sub-round (harmful and beneficial). Once this sub-round ends, the round continues from where it left off, uninterrupted.

Cost: 1 AP, and 1.5% Max CP x seconds stopped

Note:
- World Standstill may only be used once per round, regardless of how many Temporal Strider are present in battle. The user has a 15 second cooldown before they may reuse it again.
- Actions may begin inside the sub-round and carry over into the real round. Example; performing a 2.5 second action within a 1 second sub-round, will cause it to complete 1.5 seconds after the sub-round ends.
- The stopped time sub-round has no effect toward any duration/cooldowns.
- Paused targets are only immune within this sub-round of stopped time; if the user delays a jutsu to resolve after the sub-round ends, it may affect the target.

Chronostasis - Kinjutsu Ability
jfSOnLP.png

Time being like so much liquid to a Strider, then can easily throw their chakra forwards in it to form into its essence later--even controlling where and when it appears.

Information
Prerequisites: Temporal Strider

Effect: Once per round, the user may reflexive delay any attack for between 10 to 20 seconds, or until the user delays a different attack through Chronostasis.

Notes:
- Can be used reflexively against a different target's attack, or be used directly to their own attack.
- Delaying a target's attack is automatic, even if an enemy.
- All costs are paid as normal at the time of casting. Any maintenance costs do not begin until after the jutsu occurs.

Rewind - Independent Special Action
JFnib0c.png

One of the notable abilities of a Temporal Strider is to forcibly push back an object or a person to a certain point in the past, rendering it or them to their state as before. Normally seen as an ace for Temporal Striders when dire situations are presented to them, but often times can be used offensively by means of putting someone back in a dangerous situation where they may previously escaped or avoided.

Information
Prerequisites: Temporal Strider, B-Rank

Rank 1: Negates the effects of the last jutsu to hit the user. This treats the jutsu as if it had never affected the user (removes damage, effects, and etc).
Mastered: Can target others.

Special Action: Rather than the usual effect, the user may choose to re-apply the last effect that had been affecting the target, but had been removed early. (Such as successfully resisting a Genjutsu, or a Poison, or escaping an Arena or Bind, etc).

Cost: AP equal to the negated Jutsu (minimum of 1 AP). Re-applying an effect costs 1 AP.

Notes:
- Each individual target (to include the user), has a 15 second cooldown before they may be reaffected by Rewind again.
- For the special action, choosing to re-apply an effect must be an effect that has affected them and they removed it. This does not include if the effect is a jutsu that is being maintained by another player and has been disrupted/dropped, causing the player to drop the jutsu affecting your target.

Fast Forward - B-Rank Non-Elemental Ninjutsu
wKlCZQA.png

Many consider time as a mere concept, a made-up to keep track of things as the day progresses. For a Temporal Strider, time is something tangible and a force to reckon with and when things are set in motion, they can turn the flow of time against it, speeding up their destruction and quickly passing their time to which none may benefit it's presence in the present.

Information
Prerequisites: Temporal Strider, B-Rank

Rank 1: Strikes a target at +2 accuracy, dealing 1800 damage and inflicting Wither to a jutsu or effect of your choice afflicted to the target or being maintained by the target.
Mastered: Strikes a target at +3 accuracy, dealing 2250 damage and inflicting Wither to a jutsu or effect of your choice afflicted to the target or being maintained by the target.

Rank 1 Cost: 730 CP
Mastered Cost: 910 CP

Notes:
- A target may only be affected once per round.
- May use any Accuracy of your choice (e.g: Ranged, Gen. DC, Ninjutsu, etc).
- May not choose Bleeding as an option.
- Wither treats the selected Jutsu as if 10 seconds had passed, also triggering any associated effects which would have occurred during that time (for example, maintain costs, resistance checks, DoT, etc). All costs/damages are immediately paid.
- In addition to the above note, Wither affecting jutsus that has HP (Creations or Clones) is reduced by 20% and jutsus that restores HP over time only restores 60% of the usual amount.

Favor of Time - A-Rank Non-Elemental Ninjutsu
vF1S2FU.png

There are ways to cheat time. Temporal Striders are able to step into the currents of causality and hop "between" strands of probability... and drag their opponents along with them. This means that any time an opponent would choose to face a Temporal Strider with the proper mix of cunning and strength they do so with the forces of fate itself working against them.

Information
Prerequisites: Temporal Strider, A-Rank

Rank 1: For 15 seconds, the user may reflexively select any two actions which require a roll, granting the action either Advantage or Disadvantage of your choice.
Mastered: For 15 seconds, the user may reflexively select any four actions which require a roll, granting the action either Advantage or Disadvantage of your choice.

Cost: 3 AP and 2000 CP

Notes:
- Has a 10 second cooldown between uses.
- Selecting an action only needs to be declared and likewise is modded as instantaneous as a result. Casting Favor of Time still takes time as normal however. Can choose actions from other players.
- Advantage causes the action to roll twice, taking the result which favors the caster more and discarding the other.
- Disadvantage causes the action to roll twice, taking the result which disfavors the target more and discarding the other.
- If the action has multiple rolls involved, you may specify which part(s) of the action you would like to impart this jutsu's effect on. Each roll you choose to apply this effect on a single action is considered as another action.
- If Favor of Time is used on an action, it removes any other effects that would allow the action to be re-rolled.

Broken Timeline - S-Rank Non-Elemental Ninjutsu
XDyE3yl.png

While time traveling is something that can be done with extreme precaution, a Temporal Strider will take that risk to do such thing. The ability to break the time itself, risking themselves as they call upon consumed time into the present, their own self that has yet to experience what is to come. These versions of yourself tend to appear distorted and gray, lack of colors as they are out of their own time and even so, they present danger to those around them and to the present self as the lack of communication prevents either past and present from exchanging information, although some find ways to order or prevent themselves from doing something in the past.

Information
Prerequisites: Temporal Strider, S-Rank

Effect: Summons a version of yourself, a Time Echo, from one of the last 3 rounds. Lasts 10 seconds.
  • Has secondaries equal to user's.
  • It will perform all actions and conditionals performed by the user during that round, choosing the same targets as before.
  • You can cancel or re-direct any actions your version would had performed during the round. You cannot order your version to perform new actions.
Cost: 4.5 AP and 4,620 CP.

Note:
- Has a 20 second cooldown from the time the Time Echo disperses.
- Any HP/CP damage taken by the Time Echo would be dealt to you instead.
- The Time Echo does not have any AP; it will attempt to perform the same actions, with the same amount of time passing between them as they were originally used. It's actions may be spill over between rounds (example; it performing a 2-second action at 9 seconds into round 3, will cause the action to occur 1 second into round 4.)
- The Time Echo is not treated as a Clone or Creation. This does not allow you to bypass any limitations such as barriers, creations, clones, etc.
- Both "Once per round" actions and those having a cooldown, when performed by the Time Echo, do not count toward the user performing them in the current round. This only applies to these kinds of actions (not once per battle ones, or things target may only be affected by once per round).

Low: Genjutsu DC, Melee Accuracy
Class Bonus: -5% CP Costs/+5% Wind Ninjutsu Damage

-Subtypes: Wind Ninjutsu/Projectile Taijutsu/Sand Ninjutsu

Abilities:
Gigantic - General Contract Ability
Contract beasts come in all shapes and sizes, and there are some that reach such sizes that those around them. This size is rarely just for show, and though it definitly makes them a large target that attracts attention, it makes it much more difficult to restrain in any way other than defeating it.

Effect:
- The user's contract cannot be bound by non-illusory binds, but cannot enter stealth. If hit by a non-illusory bind, they instead take a -3 Acc/Dodge penalty for the duration of the 'bind'.

Super Charge -
The shinobi with this skill is gifted with the ability to actually absorb some chakra that is used to harm them. Whenever attacked with a Ninjutsu, the user's pores would immediately open and take some of the chakra used for the attack and convert it into a source of power for their own attacks. Its like photosynthesis, but for ninjas!

Information:
Prerequisites: C-Rank

Effect:
- When the user is hit with a Ninjutsu attack, any damage taken by it is reduced by 5%. This reduced damage is then added to their next Ninjutsu attack as bonus damage that cannot be buffed through any source (it can still be reduced).
- The user can be charged with the bonus damage of up to three attacks at a time. If this ability activates any further, then the newest damage will overwrite the oldest bonus damage.
- Effects which cut through, bypass, or otherwise negate Damage Reduction do not apply to this ability.

Fearless -

Many people fear death above all else, but the shinobi who embraces death as a simple part of the career, they find they have nothing to fear. Without the fear of death itself, there is nothing to fear at all or so the user of this ability feels. They do not fear pain or dying and thus do not fear anyone or anything.

Information:
Prerequisites: C-Rank

Effect:
- +10% Damage Reduction to all Damage types (includes Illusionary)
- -1 to Evasion and Gen Save.
