Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Sealing had never been overly a strong suit of Teng. He had always been more of the upfront in the fight, when he had to fight, and didn’t think very much of using sealed away techniques. That was until he came across another shinobi using a special method of sealing, called “Cursed Sealing.” The shinobi in question was an underling Genin in a team mission he was leading. They happened across a beast that would of easily killed them all if Teng didn’t get serious, however, the Genin was able to take it on single-handedly with his seal. From that day going forward, Teng did everything he could to learn about “Cursed Seals”, why they were cursed, how to use them, and how they could better help with his continued flying under the radar.

The human anatomy was another thing Teng didn’t respect much of at first either. For years after graduating the Academy, he only thought such knowledge was useful towards doctors. Then, not unlike his shaken faith with sealing, he saw another shinobi execute perfect pressure point disabling; on him. It was a fight that had broken out in a bar, and while Teng wasn’t the kind of guy to show out, you can only insult his favorite soap opera so many times. However, despite raring to actually fight, his opponent had him down and unconsciouses with three pokes to his body. Since then, Teng has heavily researched on how to do this without realizing his opponent had been a Hyuuga to start with.

Moving first, fast, was crucial in the shinobi world. Even a fool like Tengoi knew that the slow died the fastest. Of course, unlike those that had to train for it, being fast came naturally for him. His natural chakra sway into electrical ability gifted his feet with the blessing of speed. It is not uncommon for him to be able to draw a sword fast, go from silly to serious in -0.5 seconds, or have his legs ready to spring to the nearest roof. Being prepared, as they say, is far more important than being powerful.

As with most thing in his life, Teng learned how to keep track of sneaky people by trail and error. Shortly after becoming a Chuunin he was assigned a Genin Team to lead, and with the high hopes of a new job, he came in as super casual to his first group of deadly twelve-year olds; sadly, they took advantage of it. One, in particular, was horrible about playing tricks. For a straight year this kid snuck up on him like no other ninja could, and it wasn’t until Teng started setting up strings and bells did he finally figure out how the kid was messing with him. Since then, it’s kinda been his go to for sneaky people.

Teng plays with lightning like how children play with water; there is little consequence until it goes up the nose. The power to bend lightning comes so naturally that it actually once started a fight between his parents. Neither one of them had electrical manipulation abilities, and it was never present in the bloodlines of either family, which lead his father accusing his mother of some unsavory things. However, the fact that Teng has physical traits of both, and that the blood test came back positive, has caused where he got his power from to forever be a mystery. Sometimes it seems like Teng knows, but he has always professed that it just came to him in a dream.

If there is one thing this shinobi hates, it’s Genjutsu. The power to manipulate minds was never his strong suit, being the honest and straight forward type, and so he trained hard to combat those who could. Constant vigilance, he learned, was the trick. Though he has rarely come across an illusionist in actual combat, his foray with them in training exercises was enough. After about a week of hard book hitting, Teng learned that if he skipped the beat of his chakra every now and again, Genjutsu had a really hard time catching his brain. So, to this day, Tengoi’s chakra has a rhythm instead of a straight flow, stopping every once in a while before picking back up in split seconds.

Then, there is the sword. It is a basic katana, nothing special about it except that it is well made, however, if there is one thing that Teng is actually good at is swordsmanship. While the sheathe and wrap may be worn out, the blade itself is nothing if not flawlessly taken care of. His skills with the weapon are nothing to scoff at either, and while perhaps not the greatest swordsman Konoha has ever seen, he’s no slacker either. Those that know Tengoi are fully aware how serious the situation is getting based on how close his hand is to the handle of his blade.

The other thing Teng’s really good at you ask? Being laid back. Yes, so much so that it actually helps him in combat. While, normally, he’s a pretty high-strung guy in the field of combat, there is just a certain thing about him that makes Teng really hard to hit. Perhaps it’s because he’s so usually relaxed that when he actually has to fight, his senses of awareness are ratchet up to 11, and yet, he seems to fight at his best when he’s found his relaxation. It’s not always right at the start, but, once the swordsman gets comfortable in a fight he becomes even harder to hit.

There is an a style of swordsmanship that only a select few can fully grasp. It allows the user to “pierce” past defenses with a sword, with the masters of this style able to take an opponent’s defense and turn it back on them. It is known as the Sāmaruejji Style and only a handful of people on the entire planet can master it…with a sword. It’s actually a fairly common style of combat for spear users, known as "Prying Fang"; however, only those with special swords or techniques can harness the power of a spear into a blade. It is suspected that Teng is a master of Sāmaruejji due to his natural affiliation for Lightning and it’s known ability to cut through anything really fast.

All of your RP is fine, but gaining the Cursed Seal ability means you have to create your seal as well- I'd prefer that you acquire the ability and create the seal in the same post, since they're supposed to happen at the same time :)

Aside from that, everything looks good! You don't have to declare a specific effect you're gaining from Wind Style, you can use all of them, but you don't have to change your RP for it or anything at all.

Curse Seal: +15% Sneak Attack Chance/Raises Ninjutsu Accuracy to Average
Like this? Thought I had to make it in a separate post. Let me go ahead and lump in some Weapon Creation while I'm here.

Weapon: Hubris
Slashing/Piercing - Bleeding
+0 ACC/+10% Damage
Trick Weapon/Dual Weapon/Blood Rack

Weapon: Irony
Slashing/Piercing - Bleeding

Cursed seals allow you to move an accuracy type up to Average/High, in addition to granting the 6 class points.
Your abilities and weapons are all approved! Just make sure to add the above, and you're good to go.
