Name: Nakamura, Ryuusuke
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sex: Male
Rank: Genin
General Description:
Ryuusuke is a man who has a rather slender build. This is further accentuated by the fact that he stands at a rather impressive six feet tall. Aside from his rather prominent height the most noticeable part of Ryuusuke's physical appearance is his very light blue hair. While most could discern this as a silver tinge, it is in fact a light blue. His pupils are a deep red, which is an interesting contrast to his hair.
The most interesting, and the least seen, portion of his appearance that stands out are the scars which he has obtained; the total amount of scars which he has obtained through various training exercises and mission. There are a few, particularly, the ones which cover his chest, which he prefers not to discuss with most. Aside from these few quirks he has a rather average build for someone involved in a trade such as being a shinobi.
Ryuusuke's personality is one which often changes depending on who he finds himself around; the most logical reason for these different personalities would be the fact that Ryuusuke has always felt that he should be able to notice most details of an encounter. This is due to the fact that throughout his training he had been, more often than not, the person who was able to learn the basics the quickest. It was due to the fact that he would often deconstruct the actions of the instructor into smaller, more basic, movements. Learning how each part functions in regards to the overall technique was something which would not only increase the speed in which he was able to learn this movement, but any other which shared similar movements. This is what would often allow for Ryuusuke to be proficient in his techniques.
It was due to this mindset that Ryuusuke, known as Ryuu around his peers, that he was always something like an outcast. Being rather quiet, it was not that he was shy simply that he found no need to talk if it did not add value to the conversation. Being considered an 'outcast' is something that does not bother Ryuu, however. He has found that the less people he has around, the less that he considers close, the lower the chances of him being hurt are. Taking the time to emotionally invest in others is a rather dangerous prospect for a person who chooses to take on any form of foreign mission.
Around those who he considers to hold a superior position to himself he will often be more even more withdrawn from the situation. He finds that observing others, and simply listening to their conversations, he is often able to learn a plethora of things. It is in the same manner that he will often not interject himself unless he has something of value to add; the most noticeable aspect of these interactions, however, is the fact that Ryuu does not stay on the outskirts, as he would with his peers. When in a conversation with those above him he will often be drawn in, this is due to his interest in their past experiences and what he can learn from them.
Aside from this Ryuu is a rather active member of the village and finds that although he may not be the most social it is important that the village stay in a positive condition. This is often seen as him taking on the more pressing missions, as well as a constant need to train; he feels that if he cannot maximize his potential then he has failed his village.
History: Ryuusuke's earliest memories have to be that of his father taking him fishing; it was nothing special, in fact his family in and of itself was nothing special. The most notable fact is the fact that he would often find himself on the road; his family was one which could be considered nomadic, in a very loose sense; they traveled between the outer villages, as well as the inner villages, of the Cloud Council. While this lifestyle created an atmosphere in which Ryuu developed into a rather socially awkward boy, it was something that would be correct given time and experience with others. This social life was something he would need in order to live a meaningful and interesting life. Travelling through the land Ryuu often found that people who utilized their own power were the ones who worked the hardest; these were the same people who seemed to be the happiest in life.
It was with this that he often found himself attracted to Taijutsu and the multiple uses that it could provide; sure, there were a plethora of other jutsu's but this seemed the most interesting. In fact, it was as he stumbled across Taijutsu that he was also introduced to genjutsu. It was something like magic, in fact it was exactly like Magic! To a child Genjutsu was the same thing as magic, and what kid didn't enjoy magic? The use of illusions was something which could add excitement to any situation; it did not take Ryuu very long to realize the benefits of utilizing both jutsu's to create a very interesting, and effective, combination.
All in all these were rather peaceful times; things were stable and the family was happy with where they were. The business was prosperous and everyone was healthy. What else could a family hope for? These peaceful times, however, did not last. It all changed when the fire nation attacked his father had chose to do business with rather shady people. He had not heard of their reputation until things had already escalated to a point of no return. This was a day which Ryuu did not discuss, and in fact was one which he often tried to forget. Having been out, exploring the lands as he often would, Ryuu would come to discover a bloody mess in the inn which they were staying. What filled him was a confusing mix of anger, sadness and despair. It was with this that Ryuu had decided to change his plans for the future; while he had originally planned to simply inherit the company he found no need for this. What he sought was revenge, and the ability to protect those who he found important. It was with this that Ryuusuke had entered the academy and slowly began to gain the skills to ensure that he could succeed in his goals. People who could murder, simply because they felt the need to, were better off dead. This was the conviction that would allow him to endure the pain in which he found himself. After having finally achieve the rank of Genin he is now able to begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is where his journey truly begins.
