Name: Ryuuza, Chigetsu
Age: 10
Gender: Male
Sex: Male
General Description: Standing at 135 cm, with a lean athletic build, Chigetsu appears average in form. However, the specific details of his appearance give off a unique aura, one shrouded in a mysterious blend of serenity and rage. His eyes are narrow and patient like that of a serpent, yet his brow furrowed and aggressive like that of a wolf. His natural expression exudes a quiet confidence. Though very young, he appears battle tested. A wicked 2 inch scar over the right eye balances another (presumably half the length) residing over the left side of his lower lip. His cold, white hair rests unkempt at a jagged and medium length. His eyes are a translucent white, blank, like that of pure ice. His skin, though fair and gentle on the face, is leathery at the appendages.
Chigetsu is quiet, calculating, shy, and seemingly cold. He is a closed book. He is not, however, locked shut. His pages must merely be opened by those who show interest, as he himself does not desire to waste the time delivering his warm heart upon deaf ears. Once he has warmed up to his peers, he boasts clever jokes, deep conversation, rather animated gestures, and the ability to bring laughter to any situation. His acquaintances find him to be serious and studious, but those close to him know him to be incredibly laid back, borderline lazy, with blessed talent for nearly every task. Chigetsu wishes to live life in search of real adventure and finds the daily responsibilities of citizen life to be trivial, thereby leaving him unmotivated. His incredible imagination leaves him dreaming of wild creatures, adventure, and treasures. His wide combination of artistic, physical athleticism, and analytic intelligence is rare, but leaves him without certainties and focus. High in morals and laid back, he is incredibly slow to anger or stress. However, once his mental resistance is cracked, his wrath and desire to destroy knows no bounds. He is a true wild card.
History: Ever since he could remember, Chigetsu has shown a deep and powerful desire for adventure. Having grown up in a household with two older brothers, he has always quietly sought recognition and the pride of his family, specifically his father and oldest brother. Chigetsu understood his family's military acumen to be highly heralded by elders, but his understanding and knowledge of the specific accomplishments is very limited. At such a young age, his father, mother, and siblings denied him the stories of such tragedies and hardships, in hopes to harbor the gentle spirited side of Chigetsu's heart. The efforts to preserve his naivety of the world failed. At the age of 7, Chigetsu's father turned from his military campaigns and found solace in religion, attempting to escape the sins of his past. The change was too late. Roughly 2 years later, agents of the past attempted to assassinate his father. In the ensuing assault, Chigetsu's mother and oldest brother were mortally wounded. His father laid broken and helpless, refusing to seek vengeance, choosing rather to pray for guidance and forgiveness. Immediately following, his older brother departed from the village. It is assumed he sent out to chase the remaining assailants, but was sadly never seen again. A year following the tragic death of his mother and brother, Chigetsu's memory existed as a foggy cloud of confusion, riddled by manufactured stories from his father's lips, desperate to keep his only remaining child safely under his roof. Chigetsu's memory began to manifest itself in the forms of dreams as his inevitable journey began to take shape.
Just 3 days after his birthday in the Fall season, Chigetsu found a mysterious locked box, nearly half his size, in the cellar of his small house. His taste for adventure taking over, he snuck out to the nearby cove in which he typically played with local friends. Grabbing a sharp rock, he began relentlessly banging the lock. After 2 days of determination, he finally managed to break it. Within the box resided a strangely shaped and menacing crimson blade, his oldest brother's bloody sickle, and fragments of the tragedy with which his father tried so desperately to bury. Overcome with the flood of memory, pain, and emotion, Chigetsu laid paralyzed upon the cold ground for hours. It was then that the final memory, the image of his helpless father and slaughtered loved ones, was etched into his brain. He rose, vowing to never be rendered helpless by pain or fear like his father again. When his father returned to the house, he found a note pinned to the door by a rusted kunai, "Pops...you lied about the scars."
With a large bag on his back, his favorite fur cloak, and his birthday money, Chigetsu departed for the academy...
