Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Name:
Ryuzaki Megumi
Age: 18

Megumi cuts a formidable silhouette, towering at a commanding six feet and two inches. She is a full-bodied young woman. Her physique, though not chiseled, possesses an underlying strength that becomes apparent in the way she carries herself. She expresses herself like a ray of sunshine and a well of boundless optimism. She is like a pillar of joy that hold up the sky even on the cloudiest of days.

Her skin is fair and though she looks at the world with apparent naivety, those dark eyes of hers look upon the world with a child-like curiosity and carry amusement in that which others overlook. Long, untamed locks cascade down her shoulders, a cascade of darkness. It makes one think of her like a beast, untamed, wild, free.

She wears a sarong, but it’s draped wide open with a sash-like loincloth, giving her room to breathe and maneuver. Her upper attire is a wrap that shuns sleeves, collapsed together in the front by a singular ring. She sports metal cuffs on her wrists, equally protective as decorative, and further up her arms, metal armbands. On her neck is a steel choker, as if she were a beast that needed to be restrained, and beneath this a necklace connected to a metal chest plate decorated like a piece of art, ornate and intricate.

It is a relic, a memory, and matches the other jewelry she wears, studded with a single smooth green gemstone.

Matching the cuffs on her wrists are shin protectors with a little bit of extra cloth padding beneath, but she has no need for footwear. It hints at a feral nature beneath her playful demeanor.

Mental Description:

In Megumi's world, life unfolds like a grand carnival, brimming with mysteries yet to be unraveled. She possesses a knack for unearthing hidden gems in the most inconspicuous details, the sort of things that slip past the gaze of ordinary folk. Her laughter, a girlish and carefree melody, echoes through the air like a tune from a bygone era, lifting the spirits of those fortunate enough to drift into her orbit. It's an odd juxtaposition, this child-like mirth in a frame so imposing.

In the darkest hours, Megumi remains a beacon of hope, a lone figure capable of discerning silver linings amidst the thickest clouds of despair. She doesn't shy away from adversity but approaches it with an unquenchable curiosity and a tenacious resolve. To her, even the most formidable challenges are but concealed opportunities, waiting to be unveiled in due time. She has had her resolve tested before, and her faith has been rewarded in the past.

Her appetite for knowledge and adventure knows no bounds, propelling her into the depths of mysteries with an unwavering determination. She plunges headlong into enigmas, pursuing wild ideas and whimsical hunches with unbridled enthusiasm.

History:
Megumi was born in the year 234PP. She grew up in a single-mother household, her mother saying that she came from a special lineage but never disclosing what that lineage was. It was a simple life, but Megumi was an energetic child, and was difficult for a single mother to discipline. Her bright and optimistic attitude always tugged at her mother’s heartstrings and so Megumi was allowed to get away with mischief time and time again. This contributed to her growing up with little concern for decorum or even basic grooming.

She was just six years old when the Battle at Godsfall occurred. The aftermath of this event would bring great changes to the Sunagakure and with it a strong encouragement for Megumi to build her sense of wonder and curiosity. She was too young to fully appreciate the costs in lives and livelihoods that were paid during this time.

The Long Night came a year after the Shattering. The coronation of a Kazekage was an exciting time that turned suddenly deadly serious when a frenzied swarm became sentient. The night was one filled with conflict. Megumi was evacuated to safety while the heroes of Sunagakure fought off the threat. She came to admire those heroes who defended the village at this time and would be inspired to become a heroine in her own right.

The following year, Megumi began her formal education. Being one filled with curiosity she signed up with an apprenticeship with some laborers. With the Merchant Lords anointing Lady Ishii Mako Daimyo and with the discovery of oil in the previous year, the curriculum was quickly changing.

247PP. Mechanical constructs were introduced to the land of wind, and laborers were needed to help lay down the tracks. By this time Megumi was already coming into her own in height with a growth spurt she had already hit her adult woman height. She was tall for a 13-year-old, and due to the demand for infrastructure needed for the new constructs her apprenticeship brought her to participate in part with the menial labor needed for laying down of the rail tracks.

The following year, Megumi was kidnapped by nomads who detected in her that she was chakra sensitive. This band of nomads harvested her liver and kept her prisoner allowing her liver to heal and regrow through a mixture of jutsu and tonics before starting the process over again. It was a process equivalent to torture. Their intent was to keep her alive and continue to use parts of her body that would heal so that she could supply them with additional material to sell. During this time Megumi began to hallucinate about a strange figure that would encourage her to endure the suffering. As to its identity, only one word came to mind - Legatus.

In the year 249PP Megumi’s mother, desperate to find her turned to the Ryuzaki clan and to Megumi’s father. She revealed to him that she had been missing. The Ryuzaki clan began to track down various captives while searching for Megumi until they finally caught the nomads she was imprisoned by and freed her. She was introduced to a man named Oga, who was revealed to be her father. As a result of the revelation of her heritage, the Ryuzaki clan took full custody of Megumi. Because her mother had failed to report Megumi’s birth to the clan and had tried to hide it, the clan pressed charges against her. This made Megumi have a somewhat strained relationship with her father, which was exasperated further by the fact that Oga could not give much affection to Megumi on account of her illegitimate status.

She was placed into the care of her older brother Raizo. Under Raizo’s care, she was allowed to use her true name, Ryuzaki Megumi - with Raizo revealing that Megumi was named after their Grandmother. After recovering, she enrolled in the academy feeling a need to become much stronger and self-sufficient than she had been.

By the year 252PP Megumi’s Growth spurt had come to an end, leaving her with the body of an adult woman at the age of 18. She completed her academy training and passed the exams to graduate from an academy student to a full-fledged genin.

Megumi cuts a formidable silhouette, towering at a commanding six feet and two inches. She's a full-figured dame, curvaceous in all the right places, with a bosom that could make a guy forget his own name. Her physique, though not chiseled, possesses an underlying strength that becomes apparent in the way she carries herself. She's got a presence that can make even the toughest guys in town second-guess themselves.

Her skin, fair as moonlight on a cloudy night, suggests a certain vulnerability, but you'd be a fool to underestimate her. Those dark eyes of hers look upon the world with a child-like curiosity and carry amusement in that which others overlook. Long, untamed locks cascade down her shoulders, a cascade of darkness. It makes one think of her like a beast, untamed, wild, free.

Before any further deliberation we will ask that you change the physical description as to not sexualize a minor or age your character up to an appropriate age range for the physical description

I had started with what I thought was a noir-type style, and didn't realize that it could be perceived that way.

I edited the description and raised the age as to hopefully avoid any further distractions.
