Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Description: There are a couple of things that the Sagasu sibling’s share, one of which is their sparkling green eyes. Radiant and bright, they manage to hold a depth of understanding and playfulness that is unobscured by the tragedy of losing both parents at a relatively young age. The other thing they share is their athletic build. Shinji hovers over his sister at 5’11” with a little more muscular definition, specifically in his arms. His hair is kept short but manages to be just long enough to look shaggy with forward swept bangs that barely stay out of his eyes. His attire would be what some consider to be common, often seen in cargo pants and a plain t-shirt of varying shades. When he is conducting official shinobi business, he will don his chuunin vest to indicate his rank within the village. His headband he secures around his right thigh. Around his waist he keeps a pouch full of senbon as they are his preferred weapon of choice aside from unarmed combat, another attribute he shares with his sister.

Personality: What he doesn’t have in wit he makes up for in his charms. Shinji, a very outgoing individual who enjoys making friends and meeting new people, can often be found in the bars and clubs of Suna on his days off, trying to pick up women or convince someone to have a friendly fight. Recently revealed to his younger sister, Shinji appears to be a bit of a masochist, enjoying the thrill of more dangerous company. This is a point of tension that both siblings over look as they made an unspoken agreement when their mother died that they would do all in their power to keep themselves safe so that they would never have to suffer the loss of the other. While he can come off as a chauvinist, he holds women in high regard and there is no other than he elevates higher that his younger sister. This respect has been misconstrued by the Inuzuka clan, specifically their Mother’s older sister, as misappropriated love. Because of this they have all but rejected his blood ties to the family, only acknowledging him for the sake of Yume, who holds her brother with the same regard that he shows to her. Due to his lack of ability with the family bloodline, Shinji is unable to communicate with his family’s familiars and is often (playfully) hassled by his sister and her fox, CuRua. Despite the differences in skill between the siblings, they have always supported each other to the fullest extent, wanting the other to succeed in their endeavours.

History: Before the village had sunk into the cavern, Shinji remembers living on the surface with his parents. The sky was blue, the wind was hot, and there was laughter. At the age of five the storm came that forced the village below and brought the Sagasu family to live in the most distant area of the new Sunagakure. Because of the proximity to the surface and isolation from the village proper, Shinji found it difficult to make friends with the other children in the academy, many of which saw him (and subsequently, his sister) as outsiders despite having been born in Suna. As a result of this tension, he went out of his way to try and make friends, often making a nuisance of himself more than impressing those around him. For any who remember him from the academy and early genin days, they would recall him as having been slightly awkward, almost as if he tried too hard. When he was 14, his father was killed while on a group mission. When his team returned without Riki, the official story was that he died in combat, however it was rumoured that someone in his group found it appalling that a shinobi from another village had been welcomed by Suna and decided to eradicate him from the ranks. Now fatherless, Shinji stepped up and helped his mother and sister as best he could while continuing his shinobi training. This moment can be considered the most pivotal in his history as it is during this time that he managed to lose his insecure and awkward edge and became more refined in his interactions with others. Shortly before Kara died in the Maelstrom he achieved the rank of chuunin as part the Main branch. Shinji and Yume currently live in a two story town-home set into the cavern walls within the main residential area of the village.
