Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Re: Sagasu Yume's FAQ

Ice Affinity:

Daddy… what is snow?

Ever the inquisitive one with her nose in a book, it wasn’t uncommon for Yume to come to her father with questions about things unseen or unheard of in the desert regions of Wind Country. As one who came from outside of the village, Yume always assumed that her father Riki knew everything there was to know about the rest of the world. With a chuckle he would pull the 9 year-old budding shinobi onto his lap. His eyes would crinkle as he would smile at his daughter, ever pleased by her curious attitude. It was those who asked questions that would never grow old, for knowledge was the key to eternal youth.

You remember how I showed you that there was water all around us? Well, in some places that water falls naturally from the sky as rain. When wind is mixed into this, it will chill the water to such cold temperatures that it will freeze. Frozen droplets of rain will either become hard balls known as hail or soft delicate flakes of snow.

Extending his hand, he would exert little effort in using chakra to pull beads of moisture from the air to rest on his fingertips. For dramatic effect he would blow on the water, crystallizing it into dendrite patterns. Looking over to his daughter, he would see her eyes grow wide with the excitement of having seen something new. Eager to do the same, she would mimic her fathers motions but with no success. Twisting up her mouth in determination, she would furrow her brow as she used the hand seals that her father had taught her for basic manipulation of wind and water. Expelling a little of her own chakra into the air in front of her, it didn’t take long before microscopic hexagonal shapes of ice would form and begin to drift towards the floor. Trembling with excitement, she would declare her success with delight.

Daddy! Daddy! I’m making glitter! Wind and water make glitter!

This was one of the last memories that Yume would have with her father before he died.

Re: Sagasu Yume's FAQ

Ah yes! Abilities. I haven't decided on what I want but I believe I automatically get Medical Knowledge and I want to take Physician as my specialty.

If these need RPs, let me know.

Physician RP:

There were fewer joys in life than listening to a child’s laugh. This was what Yume enjoyed most about working in the hospital. She had gone on the occasional mission as a field medic but way always eager to return home. She felt her skill was better suited to taking care of those with chronic illness. Her soft spoken manner and customary smile made her ideal for working in pediatrics. Unfortunately, today was vaccination day and there weren’t many happy children to be seen. Sitting behind a curtain, she could hear the soon to be academy students with their guardians whining that needles hurt and that they didn’t want to get shot. A nurse would usher the next patient around the shield and the youth would look up to Yume with red rimmed eyes. As the aide would stay with them, it would appear that this particular boy had no family.

Hi there, kiddo. I’m Sagasu Yume. Have you ever received a shot before?

With a quivering lip, the boy shook his head. Gently hushing him, she speaks in quiet tones to sooth the boy as she signals to her companion to come out. From beneath the bed, CuRua would emerge and look up to the boy. His eyes would go wide and he would almost break a smile before remembering why he was here and getting upset again. With a deft leap, the fox would sit beside him and swish his tail across the paper bed cover.

This is CooRoo. He’s really gentle and will let you pet him if you’re scared. He’s really soft.

Tentatively the boys hand would mechanically brush over the fennec’s fur, easing into the motion and soon he was running his fingers through the thick coat. While the boy was preoccupied, Yume would take his free arm and swab over the injection site. Without warning, she would pop the needle through the skin and administer the worm flu vaccination. The boy jumped a little and tried to look over but a soft push with her fingers against his chin drew his attention back to the fox. The next thing he would realize was that he was being presented with a lollipop and had a cheeky looking smiley face bandage with its tongue sticking out and winking. Grinning up to Yume, he would take the sucker and jump down, laughing with triumph as he ran off.

Yes, some days it was great to be a physician.

OOC: Non-Elemental Minor affinity achieved (14 / 26 jutsu mastered).

Blood Affinity:

The corridors of Keystone had fallen silent once the vagrants had left. It had taken a few days for word to spread of the crazy lady that haunted the halls but eventually Yume was left alone. She liked it that way for the most part as it allowed her to conduct research without interruptions. Occasionally she would consider venturing over to the R&D section of the labs to curl up in Sousuke's office but the thought of being there with the knowledge that he might be in trouble stirred the pot of madness and pushed her back down into the pit of darkness. It was after such musing that she would open her tome of magika and search through it for something to test. While the book didn't have anything flat out taboo, it certainly came close and Yume's mind could make up the rest. The concept of bodily fluids seemed to be on her brain today, after news of Magnetica's release from the Obsidian Palace reached her through a visit from her Uncle Urufu. It never sat well with the Inuzuka that the threat to their village had simply been captured when it would have been easy to destroy the bronze lady; the mednin, however, disagreed. Fortunately for her, the mednin was no where to be found... for that matter neither was the Inuzuka.

Water is every where... water is in everything... Everything. Bodies would collapse and become dust... become sand without it. Does the water inhibit other elements from coming through? Or would other elements inhibit water? What if having water content is all it takes?

Sitting on the ground with her legs haphazardly crossed beneath her, Yume wrote on the ground with her finger, scribbling imaginary notes as she talked to herself. A crunch outside the door caused her head to snap up, eyes wide with animalistic curiosity as she pushed her self onto her hands and knees to crawl forward. Looking up as she peers around the corner, her face is met by the underside of the intruder's boot. Blood spills from her nose as the cartilage gives under the pressure. Reaching up, her claws dig into the interlopers ankle and twists; a foot is simply the head of the leg and where the head goes the body follows. Landing on his side, the offender rolls and is up on his feet within seconds. In this time, Yume has simply scooted back towards a corner to readjust her nose and allow the spill to pour onto her shirt. Fiery green eyes met his stare as she wiped the carnage away with the back of her hand.

Did you know that blood is not the most aqueous substance of the human body?

P...pardon?

I said... Did you know...

I fukin' heard what you said. What does it matter? I came here to prove that the plagued rusalka of Keystone Prime is just a pissy woman.

Charging forward, the tank would grab the comparably smaller girl by the throat and hoist her into the air. Rising from his spot under the workbench, CuRua moves to attack but is waved of with a dismissive flick of his companion's hand. Obediently, he sits back down, unsure of whether to trust her judgment but wanting to believe that she was still competent in her decisions. As her face begins to flare red, he shifts his weight between his paws but doesn't leave his tile square as the one-sided match continues.

They say you were a ghostie, little one... a tormented spirit."Look at her" They say "Once filled with innocence." Well little poppit... Death has a way of wringing away such deficiencies.

Inhaling sharply through her nose, a clot is dislodged and caught at the back of the vixen's throat. Blood begins to drip once more as she hocks the clump at his face, only to be rewarded by being tossed on the steel workbench like a rag doll. Laughter perforated her coughing fit as she struggled to sit up while her tormentor cursed her and the name of Mother Suna.

You think it's funny, eh?

You interrupted me. It was very rude. As I was saying, blood doesn't have the most water in the body... your cells do and by default your skin does as it's the largest organ and contains the most cells. But blood contains enough.

Specks of blood few from her digits as they danced in a flurry of forms to create the necessary hand seals. Finishing with a flick of her wrist, four senbon of blood flew at the offender and lodged in his chest. For a moment he just looked down in disbelief and laughed; for someone of his size, the senbon were literally pin pricks. His look changed to one of torment as Yume's outstretch hand slowly would twist and close. Agony was etched on his features as she pulled her hand towards her and a mist of red droplets spilled from his pores, forming into her doppelganger. Under normal circumstances, one couldn't simply rip a human's blood from their veins with chakra, but the senbon had allowed their blood to touch and it was enough.

YUME! STOP IT! STOP IT, NOW! YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS!

The fox didn't expect her to acknowledge his pleas, they had been in communicative silence since her decent into lunacy, but it would have felt like he approved of her actions if he said nothing at all. Heedlessly, Yume raised her other hand and pulsed her fingers open and shut in the air. It took both males a moment before realizing that her motions were controlling the beat of his heart and effectively keeping what little fluid was left in his veins circulating. She was keeping her victim alive to watch him suffer.

Look at him. Once filled with so much hatred and spite. Death has a way of wringing away such deficiencies

The words fell from the lips of the bloody visage with a sneer. Throwing her voice with genjutsu was rather easy but with the amount of blood-loss he was experiencing one couldn't be certain which was causing the delirium. His eyes widened with fear and his breathing increased but his heart rate remained steady until her hand stopped its motions. Teetering for a moment, the hulk of a man swayed forward through the clone and landed on the ice cold floor, quite dead. The clone dispersed into a mist of droplets and rained to the floor. Bouncing off the table, she drops to all fours to keep from slipping in the viscous splatter. Kneeling next to the man, she rolls him over and puts his head on her lap, closing his eyes with two fingers as she gently began to sing a funeral dirge for the corpse. In a way she was honoring the dead but as CuRua watched her smile and pet the crown of his head, he wondered if the tune was more to fill the silence.
