Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Name: Saito (Hyuuga) Eichi
Age: 9
Gender: Male
Rank: AiT

Appearance:

An average sized youngin, Eichi has black hair that has partial streaks of white running through it. His eyes are unique even without his dojutsu active. There's an inner ring around the pupil that is a shade of a dark yellow, sort of like a gold color. This is followed by an outer ring of a lighter shade of yellow. They also look very unique when activating his clan's dojutsu. He has pale skin and usually a dull but bold look upon his face. Most say he looks hard bodied, as his muscles are tight, and his expression gives the impression that he is fearless. He is a thin fellow, and the back of his hair reaches just above his shoulders. In the front he keeps his hair cut just below his ears. He usually dresses in a dark uniform. He calls it his death fighting attire, as he is the bringer of life and fullness. He wears various rings upon his fingers, reminding him of his oath to never be selfish.

When in his AiT attire, he wears a dark cloak. His mask, instead of looking like an animal, is a skull mask that he created himself.

Personality:

Hard faced and bold, Eichi is considered one of the tough guys of the clan. He didn't take kind to banter or bad talk against others. Such rumors were squashed when they reached his ears. He believed everyone should live by the code of being unselfish. Not necessarily kind to anyone and everyone, but considerate of one another's goals, feelings, etc... Eichi was one to end a situation rather than feed into it. And when whispers were passed around, he was the one to keep those criticism at a hush by going out and confronting the situation, rather he had to gather 2 clan mates together and make them spar it out, or end it through discussion. He knew family ties should remain strong, so he wouldn't let anyone break such bonds. The closest of the clan members were able to bring out a gentler side of Eichi. Even at youth, the boy enjoyed the piggy back rides he'd receive from his cousins.

He has a strong love for others, so while his demeanor says he doesn't like being around others, his personality speaks against such a view. A very kind boy to those that he's come close to, and able to defend the values of others. One thing he doesn't like is selfishness, and he isn't afraid to fight for what others believe in. The code of truth and righteousness. Living for what's just sticks with him as one day in the garden he saw a butterfly. This was back when he was still in pampers and unable to walk. He sat in the Clan Compounds main garden, watching as the rainbow colored butterfly flutter onto one of the flowers. It sat for a while, feeding on the nectar of the flower. But it wasn't until the boy noticed another butterfly flutter along. This one looked a bit hurt and had a torn wing. It was dark in color, and landed on the same flower that the rainbow butterfly fed on. Noticing it's new companion, the colorful one moved to another flower, allowing the dark one to feed on the flower that it landed it. It was a simple gesture of kindness, but the lad being less than a year old, would always remember the scene.

History:

The Academy
Life was taught to be lived by starting with a vision. A goal, one might call it, but the keys to success was actually seeing oneself with the key in hand. Ahh, what a way to begin down the path of your choosing. Eichi himself often sat out in the garden meditating. He found this was the way to keep his mind healthy. Many said that death would scurry away from those that didn't accept it, and would even separate itself from those that fought against it. This became Eichi's lifestyle as he believed that one could live a long life if the vision was set on something bigger than the heart could comprehend. Many achieved this by dreaming big. Some would dream of going to outer space, living amongst the stars and planets. Others felt that they could change the world if they stayed dedicated to their vision. Eichi chose something that he felt would be different from others. He would achieve eternal life by living for others, rather than himself.

This made his tough demeanor a little less agitating around his clan home. He seemed to be one of the stuck up kids because he was directly related to a few of the higher ups of the clan. One to mention was Honnou, who looked out for the boy here and there when it came to his trainings. He wasn't a slacker, but he was told that meditation alone wouldn't help you make it across the sea. Sometimes it took meditation and hard work. That quote stayed with Eichi as he often conversated with others on their outlook of life. Sparring with his cousin Honnou was the best experience one could gain while at such an age. It taught him preserverence, and made him look beyond when it came to his combat skills. Even though Honnou had his one prosthetic arm, he proved that no set back was enough to overcome the boldest of shinobi. Sharing wisdom was one of his favorite pass times, and he became accepted by many within his clan.

Eichi was one that preferred to duke it out through conversation rather than fists. But when it came down to clan spars, the boy proved he had great physical combat skills. Being noticed, he was chosen to participate in the Shinobi Academy. To his hearts delight, it sounded like something that he could use to enhance his view on philosophy. Sharing with others outside of the clan caught his interest, so it's what moved him to graduate from the Academy. He never expected to make it through the Academy without awakening his bloodline. Still, he was the top of his class. The graduation exam included a spar with a kid with the sharingan. This pairing actually was talked about throughout the academy, though Eichi wasn't considered the underdog. Actually, the students thought that it would be a close match to the end. The fight was a great one, mostly Taijutsu skills were used, but in the end, it took smarts to win this fight. Though Eichi's opponent had a nice edge with his sharingan active, Eichi wasn't one to give up. He had strong bodied emotions that wouldn't allow him to be a pushover. Many complained that he received special trainings from his clan, but the boy never showed off, or showed out if it didn't come to it. During the fight, the sharingan user even achieved a heightened sense of his Uchiha abilities, but Eichi was taught never to give up, even in the thick of a situation. Eichi kept his composure and his hard face, his emotions never bending while giving it a solid foot forward.

Gaining a Direction
After the Academy, Eichi thought more of the shinobi force. The shinobi military lived a certain type of lifestyle. The kids were taught that they would go on missions, dedicate their lives to the village, etc... He wondered if he was ready to dedicate himself to such a lifestyle. He considered holding back and living his life within his own clan walls, but knowing that there was adventure out there pushed him to keep going. Those in the Clan when learning of his Academy Graduation Exam, considered him for the rank of ANBU. He wasn't surprised to hear that Honnou was one of those that considered him an elect. Those piggy back rides would now be something along the lines of pointing out when it was time to wear his ANBU mask, and when it was ok to take it off. It was comforting knowing that he had someone that would look out for him here and there. He liked to receive pointers on what he should be doing, and where he would be headed next. When the lad found out that Honnou lost his eye, Eichi considered life without making his own eyes something that he needed to live off of. His bloodline abilties weren't awakened yet, but whenever they would, he made it priority not to use them as much, even in the toughest of situations. This was in honor of Honnou, one of the ways he considered to cheer his cousin up. Him and his other cousins usually visited the older ANBU and sat around him to hear to stories, just to keep his mood lifted. It was part of his life's journey to not be selfish, and he dedicated one of the rings on his right hand to finding a way to help Honnou recover his eye.

Eichi was one that excelled at whatever he put his mind to, and would be considered one of the leaders of his generation within the clan. He didn't exactly come up with his aim yet in the shinobi world, but he kept his views on achieving eternal life. Maybe this would aid him in the long run?
