(Edited in light of the leaf village being closed. Just found out, so my fault!)
Name: Tessuhai Tsuyo
Age:11
Gender:Male
General Description:
Tsuyo aspires to be all that his father isn't. He is a calm one who tries his best to think clearly. Compared to some adults, he can be more mature, thus causing those around him to mistake his age. However, while his seriousness is his main point, hidden within he retains a tightly bound anger at the world for causing his family's misfortune. While being mostly serious, he is more than capable of speaking to other people. His manner of speaking is more “Guarded” however, meaning that he will not open up to anyone unless they are trusted to a degree. The most that the “untrusted” will get out of the boy would be sarcastic remarks, and the occasional joke. Otherwise to those he trusts, he is a normal person, who has a share of friendliness, and warmth.
Appearance-wise, he is a decently tall boy for his age, standing at five feet nine inches tall. His onyx hair is shown to be decently unkempt, though not to bedhead standards. His skin is fair to a degree, though most of his life has been spent outside. He contemplates the world with the two narrow, emerald orbs. Upon his right shoulder lies a scar from his early childhood inflicted upon his by his father. The result of his rough childhood ended up with his body retaining a lean build. All of these traits combined present a rather imposing first impression upon most others in his age group.
His clothing is by all means comfortable for him, consisting of a long sleeve, dark blue robe with a high collar that could reach his chin. He wears gray pants and finally the sandals uniform to most shinobi with a darker blue tint.
History:
The boy was born and ‘raised’ just within the borders of the land of wind in a little village with a normal, non-shinobi family; a loving mother, and a hard to impress father. His days of early childhood were greatly lived as a farmer. He managed to keep up with the animals and crop planting with his father, and the bond that they shared had been a warm, close-knit one. However, all good things must come to an end. When Tsuyo was five, an earthquake ravaged the village. This caused the start of the chain of events that ruined Tsuyo’s family, and childhood. Demand for the crops that the family grew rose to high levels as time passed. This added stress to the family, and with his mother heavily pregnant, it was up to Tsuyo and his father. With one set of hands down, his father became more stressed and began drinking. Eventually, his brother was born, but with the demand for crops so high, and the production so low, the village began to detest the small farmer family, spreading ill rumors, bullying Tsuyo, and slandering their name in general.
Years passed, and nothing about the view on the Tessuhai family changed. The father had taken up drinking, having given up on the farm, and essentially his life. He also had begun abusing his family, even stabbing Tsuyo in the right shoulder with a shard of broken glass in one of his drunken stupors, causing him to have a very pronounced and jagged scar. It was up to Tsuyo’s mother to continue farming while the boy himself had raised his little brother. Soon, his father passed on, and Tsuyo, knowing that this road would lead them nowhere had decided to join the shinobi ranks in the sand village. The family left their old home and left to Sunagakure in order to attempt to make a living good enough for the younger sibling.
Because Tsuyo felt that at this point he was too weak to join the village’s shinobi ranks, he would simply devote his life to training himself in preparation of doing so, all while doing his best to protect his little brother from the others. His persona had hardened from his father’s abuse. His eyes grew cold to others, and his voice silenced. He had taken it upon himself to defend his brother from all elements of life, and by doing so he has opened himself up to minor reclusive traits with a “trust no one” mentality. Because of the new emotional development, he felt ready to join the shinobi.
