Character's Physical Description: Yasushi stands at 4’9, fair skinned, blue-eyed with pastel blue hair. He wears a purple shirt, dark purple pants, black fingerless elbow length gloves, black pants and tucks a jacket around his waist. Most days Yasushi will carry around a staff that hooks onto a random purple strap he carries; the staff starts off as more of a comfort object to keep his separation anxiety at a low as his older brother’s weapon is a staff. His blue hair is short save for two long strands that cover his ears and he will occasionally wear headphones. Yasushi’s headphones are typically used for music though sometimes you can hear the sound of ocean waves. Yasushi does look a bit girlish and does not /ever/ bother with correcting anyone when they call him a girl. On the back of his left leg the child has a birthmark in the shape of a cloud, ironic because of the village he was born in.
Character's Mental Description: Yasushi is a quiet child, as his name would suggest. though he can hold a bit of sass. He doesn’t know what he wants in life, but he does know he wants to be useful medical ninjutsu, lightning style- he wants to learn what he can. Typically, he can seem tired which could explain why he is quiet. He has a strong attachment to his brother but despite that he is more laidback then he lets on. He is intuitive, and tends to attract people to him despite his quiet nature. While he can be extremely laidback, Yasushi can get silently jealous and resentful which can lead to him making compulsive and slightly obsessive at times as well as he gets older, he will find he has a problem of letting go of grudges. Yasushi holds a few feminine traits and does get mistaken as a girl quite a lot as said previously, he is a hermaphrodite but if asked what his gender is, he will call himself a trap deadpanning every time. As a kid he has no idea what it means, it’s simply what his older brother would call him when he or his friends would tease him but as he gets older he still answers that despite knowing what it means at th. He does get separation anxiety when leaving his brother after being around him for a long period of time, and has a silent fear of losing people close to him due to how his parents are always gone and his mother’s rejection of him.
Character History: Yasushi Amarai was born October 29th to Tetsuo and Mai Amari as their youngest and second son. His older brother Yuji (age 15) did most of the parental work for his parents however as they are off on missions and have been for most of their children’s lives. When Yasushi turned three his mother gave birth to a still born thus pushing the woman to take on more missions as a coping system, almost completely shutting both her sons out of her life and rejecting them. Their father is gone just as much as their mother is but when he does return home he does make up for the missing time and the missing parental love their mom can’t bring herself to give. As soon as he comes of age Yuji makes sure that Yasushi is enrolled into the academy so he can continue on his path on becoming a Chūnin as soon as possible. Being sheltered by Yuji, Yasushi doesn’t have many close friends but still manages to attract people to him despite that. As a young child Yasushi looked up to Yuji, and worried over him, developing slight separation anxiety when he first started at the academy but gradually began to grow into the start of his own person the longer, he attended.
