Oyochi remained silent and calm as he rested alone at the back of a corner, surrounded with various scrolls; some spread open and others still held tightly together with small cloth ribbons. They were all dedicated to an art form that while he understood, he had never truly become a practitioner of and that was Fuinjutsu. The primary thing which kept him from learning this form of ninjutsu was the fact that one had to understand and have knowledge about the sealing formulas which comprised each individual jutsu's seals. While he was capable of using a lesser form of fuinjutsu in that he had inscribed his snake with a reverse sealing formula so that he could summon and desummon the animal from virtually anywhere, akin to a contract summoning, he had been taught this by his clan. Mulling over the various scrolls Oyochi was not simply reading the contents but marking them down on blank pieces of scroll parchment around him as he would use these for practice later on his own time. The thing which kept his interest in this craft was the fact that each sealing formula was intensely personalized and that corresponding jutsu could be entirely changed with just the wrong formula injected. He learned that one could manipulate chakra to create these seals or use their life medium which was blood to inscribe them physically by hand, something which was done to him before when his elemental chakra was sealed for a time as a punishment.
"Hmm...so these are the basic techniques I will need to master eh....hmm. Jutsu Sealing and One Element Sealing."
His pupils remained attached to the parchment, his fingertips retracing the sealing formulas with dedicated proficiency to ensure that everything was correct and that not a single character was misdrawn. He would be choosing to master a method of sealing use that required him to learn to mold his chakra to create the formula and in order to do so he would need to learn to attach his chakra to parchment and trace over each symbol until it was embedded in his memory. Closing the scrolls, he placed the items back and would roll up the ones he'd decide to keep. Walking away, he was approached by a man who ensured that Oyochi had gotten what he had sought, a man that was aged to the point of being considered an elder and also most noticeably had the Yukata Clan marking imprinted along his walking staff. While the two exchanged no words, their eye contact was enough conversation....
Oyochi had work to do especially given the fact that sooner or later he would be participating in an exam and he needed to embed his knowledge with a branch of jutsu that normally a student would not be interested in or capable of pulling off.
