Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It had been a few weeks since the incident in the village. Three members of the Ikoji clan were brutally murdered and had pieces of their body harvested. Ikoji Rosan, and Ikoji Taka were guards, warriors, and formidable foes. Just off of their deaths it should have become apparent that the killer was a warrior of above average skill. Koga would wager this killer had a strong amount of shinobi skill, they had to in order to get three kills off cleanly. They also had to be completely terrifying in order to completely remove the bones from both bodies leaving the organs and the skin, with no traces left behind. Yes and if things couldn't get any stranger Ouma's death while simple in examination, was not so simple in theory. It was clear why the other two had their bones harvested although one of them did not sport the Kaguya bloodline, both could prove useful since their bones innately were probably more durable than others. Ouma's condition lied in the fact that her heart was taken. "Of all things to take why did they take her heart? Ouma was a priestess, but she didn't hold any special abilities that outclass the Kaguyan genes. If anything she'd be considered "lesser" in our clan it just doesn't make much sense. Could it have been some kind of dark ritual? Maybe it has something to do with the Blood Magic Tama spoke of? Koga questioned his thoughts on this case as he took it very seriously. With the recent developments taking place this would be pivotal in Koga's career. More so pivotal in his revenge against this person whom he had labeled simply as "The Collector".

However what brought him here was not the "The Collector" completely. He knew that he couldn't just simply make a search and expect to find the criminal. He did think that it would be possible for him to catch the killer if he understood what their goal was. Maybe if he could find the reasoning behind these murders he could find the next target. Something Kenji had said to him before sparked his curiosity and led him to take a step out from the village for a moment to head over to the birth land of his clan. The Northern Deserts were his goal but he could not reach them without trekking across the vast diamond sandstorms. Kenji said that my mother's death may give me insight to this situation. To be honest I've never known the full details of her death, I've never had the inkling to search for it either. My father has always pushed me to move forward in life and respect her memory by continuing in her stead. One of the few in the clan loved by the spirits, and with a duty like that I'm tasked to care take for if no one else the Ikoji clan's spirits. What is the connection between Ringo's death and these three clan members? Since some of the eldest village members had decided to stay in the home land rather than migrate to Sunagakure there was still hope Koga could find a full detailed account of the misfortune that befell his late mother.

Koga's thoughts trailed off as he was pounded by the sandstorm. Even in this kind of weather Koga knew he wouldn't last long relying on only his body. It was unnecessary damage to him, and no smart person would go through that when they had such a long journey ahead. For this occasion Koga bought a thick set of black body armor easily accessible for shinobi. He sported green lens goggles and was wrapped up in two tan wool cloaks. The adventurer also sported one large backpack containing rations, tools, scrolls, and a first aid kit. He was taking no chances as his body was still sore from the over-usage of the "Eight Inner Gates". Today he would not be the stalwart bull he normally had to take the role of instead he would be a first class explorer taking the utmost careful precautions. His frame might of been large but he would surely be worn down by these sands had he not taken these steps for his own protection. However as he walked the winds began to pick up even more causing great discomfort. Koga soon felt himself getting tired realizing that he would need a break if there was any hope of reaching his homeland without the use of the Inner Gates. The young shinobi began to scan the surrounding area trying to find a suitable place to rest in. His eyes soon began to focus upon a collection of structures, after a few moments of searching. It looked like the ruins of an old town, it could have even been a merchant's outpost however it was hard to tell since half of it was buried beneath sand. Koga immediately made his way to the top of one of the few standing buildings. It had tanned brick walls, and was run down like it had been abandoned for decades. The sands had degraded it badly but it was still standing and could serve as a somewhat suitable fort.

As he stood atop the building Koga noticed an average sized hole at the roof of this structure. From the looks of it, this building had three stories not including any possible cellar. If he made his way down to the lower levels he could possibly find more suitable lodging. Koga took a large leap from the top of the building through the hole firmly landing on the third floor. He would immediately begin to search the building while still traveling further down in order to find a safer place from the storms. As he traveled throughout the building he realized that this building was once a storage house or something of the sort. There were empty boxes and containers some retaining their labels showing that they had some form of goods in them. Koga picked up old dried wood along the way casting it into his pack. As he reached the second floor he came to a large room, with another set of stairs however the stairs were full of sand. It was so vast that it was spilling into the second floor, but it seemed as though they stopped there. "The inside's not as run down as the outside eh? It actually looks a little cozy but even the sand has made its way into here. At least this thing isn't completely submerged on the inside, but it looks like there's no real way to make it past floor two. Well I guess I'll make camp here on this floor and rest for the night. The sandstorms probably won't be breaking through here any time soon I can relax." Koga would drop his large bag in the sand and begin to unpack his camping equipment. He laid a sleeping bag out, and set up the wood he collected in the center of the room. Koga managed to make pit out of the sand, leaving a perfect spot for the flame to sit.

After lighting the fire and making himself at home the young shinobi would lay in his sleeping bag thinking of the impending investigation he was undertaking. There was one startling piece of information about this case that he could not put his finger on. It was about Ouma's death no her true death. The spirit of the Ikoji woman was drifting into a void of unknown proportions. It was like darkness was swallowing her soul whole and Koga had sensed "fear" coming from her presence. It was the first time in his life that he felt someone's spirit get scared it was almost as if she was erased entirely. Everyone else before had just simply vanished into the unknown void but their spirits always had joy to return back to the never ending stream, but this one would never make its way to the stream. There was no way it could, for she was lost to a world of darkness forever. Sometimes this power of feeling the spirits, and using the power of their light was a curse. To be able to feel a spirit's turmoil while in their purest form was just, tragic. It brought great sadness to Koga but that's what drove him now. This pain and anguish would become his fuel to finish what "The Collector" had started even if it meant death. Tonight he would rest easy knowing that his conviction was solid and this would lead him to the truth of this case. With a balled up fist he would taunt the unknown enemy wherever they may be. "Mark my words Collector... You will reap what you sowed."
