Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Yoshimitsu left the meeting with Ayumu with much on his mind. While the impending Frost Giant problem was clearly on the horizon (for Yoshimitsu) he could not help but focus on another matter entirely. The death of Hayata Shin still wracked his brain. Things didn't add up, there were questions he wanted answers to. How did they get in? Hoshikata was exiled from the village barred from coming back. so who let him in? Was Haruka or that medical shinobi being hunted down? Was the Shima clan being investigated like the Masaru when Yuuto fucked up? A brief sigh would escape his lips, he was focusing on all the wrong things.

Currently he was heading into the Medical facility to find a competent medical shinobi who would love to an autopsy. Part of Yoshimitsu's plan for establishing trust with the village and the Masaru Clan was to give them more inside information of what the Masaru were like. Too long have they sat by not doing enough but being there when need be. It was time the Clan became proactive in the matters of others and things would only become better if they took that extra step forward. The village of Kumogakure was their home and regardless of their ancestry as monster hunters they still needed to protect their home like any other shinobi. Beign a Ninja was just another title for being a protector in the service of the village. While not as extreme as his cousin Yoshimitsu did have the ideal that it was the Masaru's sworn duty to protect their home. Informing the clan of the incoming creatures was a proper move.

Upon entering the Hospital it was slightly packed. This would make sense for the time being in the afternoon. Citizens were here for check-ups and sought as much as help as they needed. Yoshimitsu would head for the receptionist who was barely paying attention. He was a dull guy, who just sat there reading a graphic novel not paying attention to those around him. Yoshi would call out disturbing his read, "Excuse me, I'm a main branch Jounin and I need-; Before he could finish he was rudely cut off.

"Fill out the entry form like everyone else" the medical receptionist rang.

"I don't need a medical examination I just need a med-"

"Don't really care what you need, there is a long line of patients shinobi and citizen alike, you're not special just because of your rank bro" , he'd say with a smirk and snarky tone.

"Is this some kind of power trip? Look I need to see a Medical Shinobi with something important, I don't have time for your ego."

"What's that I hear? The sound of papers not being filled out? Look buddy I don't care what you want, you-are-not-seeing-anyone-until-those-forms-are-signed end of story pretty boy." He'd slam his hands on the desk like he had just won a battle.

Yoshimitsu's eyes would sharpen as he focused on the man. "Really? We'll see about that." He would turn and leave before going any further and potentially knocking the jerk unconscious. Instead Yoshimitsu would go outside and brandish a summoning scroll. He'd activate his Byakugan, the gray eye color overpowering the natural teal color of his eyes. He refused to be bested by some pencil pusher, the war was far from over. When Yoshi got outside he'd leave the doors open setting them so that they wouldn't close. He'd then pace himself while keeping track of his distance. When he was a few tens of meters away he'd begin to unlock the scroll breaking the code. Then in a giant puff of smoke a large blue body would be summoned right in front of the hospital the feet inching close to the door.

"I don't think a dead guy can fill out your shitty forms!" He'd yell into the waiting room while people crowded around the entrance. This would surely catch someone's attention.

The one thing Kotsuko hadn't anticipated when he entered into the Medical Branch was the level of stress that he'd have to endure. Every day was work after work, people who needed things done, and a constant flow of assignments and surgeries. It hadn't taken more than a month before the young boy was having a hard time keeping up with all the mental pressure—it was precisely at this time that the young boy had taken to smoking during his breaks to try and help relieve the pressure. What could he say, it was a powerful tool to keep him sane at this job—it finally made sense why so many medical practitioners did it. The young boy was just about to leave for a quick break, a cigarette already in his mouth while his hands fished around for a lighter, when suddenly he ran into the large crowd blocking the main entrance and exit of the hospital. Annoyed, the young boy began to push people out of the way, all the while grumbling, "Move it, I'm trying to get through here. What the hell are you all crowded around here for anywa-" And that's when the young boy made it to the door entrance. "Ah, I see now..." Right in front of him was a giant body, blue in color, and exceedingly dead. This had just turned into a rather interesting morning.

The young boy walked forward, lighting his cigarette as he did. His curiosity had been piqued, and decided he wanted to check this thing out. He approached the body, taking note of the thing's structure and condition. He'd never seen anything like this before; that fact alone interested him. He exhaled a cloud of smoke with a slight grin on his face. "Well, well, what do we have here? This is quite a welcome surprise!" The young boy approached the man who had done the summoning, having noticed him when he was walking towards the creature. "You, seal this thing up. We're taking this operation inside where no one will bug us. Fill me in on the details as we walk." Kotsuko wasn't a patient man, and would waste no time with this matter. He turned back and began to walk, assuming the man would follow him. As he walked up to the crowd of people, he began to push people out of the way again. "Alright everyone, move it! Get out of my way, I'm a doctor!" As he pushed through, the receptionist who had spoken to giant's summoner approached the young medic, obviously disgruntled by the situation. "Sir, you can't just do that! He needs to wait his turn like everyon-" The man was cut off as Kotsuko grabbed his shirt and pulled him down to eye level with Kotsuko. He may have been taller, but Kotsuko was scarier. He exhaled some of his cigarette smoke with an angry look in his eyes as he spoke, "I'm not in the mood for your crap. I'm officially pushing his request to the top of my list. This looks like it'll need emergency attention..."And with that he let go of the receptionist's shirt. He turned back around to make sure the other man was still with him, his face back to it's calm and placid look. He would lead him down a few corridors while they talked, taking another few puffs as they went. "Now, start telling me about this thing. What do I need to know about it?"

As the crowd piled up, Yoshimitsu's eyes became focused on an individual who made their way towards the front. With Byakugan activated he could see his chakra flow. It was far stronger than most of the citizens who had crowded the entrance. Clearly he was the medical Shinobi Yoshimitsu needed. A smile spread across his face, as the boy waked forward lighting his cigarette. "Well, well, what do we have here? This is quite a welcome surprise!" The silver haired warrior leaned forward to take a closer look at the kid's face. He didn't know him, but he was grateful all the same. The young ninja requested that he seal up the giant and bring it in, while they went somewhere no one would bother them.

"That I can do. My name is Masaru Yoshimitsu, and I simply want to have this creature examined. I'll catch you up inside." Yoshi did as prompted and sealed the creature following the med ninja inside. People began to move back away when the creature disappeared, and the boy pushed back through using his rank as a doctor. The annoying receptionist of course had something to say but the doctor gave no shits about his excuses. He yoked the guy up, giving him a tongue lashing before letting his collar go. As the doctor walked a bit ahead, Yoshimitsu made a quick thrust in the air , he manipulated chakra around his hand to propel a gust of force at the man's hands. He held back a lot, but it was still enough to send the receptionist's binder, clipboard, and papers flying. "Dick."

After getting a few corridors away from everyone they began talking, Yoshimitsu still having his Byakugan activated. "It is a Frost Giant, a creature that lives in the snowy mountains of Kumogakure although they originate in the Tundras of the Water Country. They are known to migrate to other areas, usually to set up more tribes, or their own tribe. I have been scouting them for the past seven months and have come to the conclusion that they are planning an attack of some sort, a war possibly but with who I'm unsure. They've only attacked farm villages, and empire trade routes. The Shogun should be alerted, but that's not my concern, Cloud is."

Yoshimitsu would lean against a wall looking around for a moment, and then cracking his neck slightly. "I need this corpse to be examined. I've fought a total of three Frost Giants now and the first two exploded when I killed them, like their body shattered. I took precise care not to dismantle this one but rupture the organs inside. I need you to tell me what you can gather from their organs, possible weaknesses in their biology, ways we can destroy them. We need to understand how their body works so that we can be aware of any limits they may possess. Is that something you can do?"

In between strides through the hospital, Kotsuko briefly introduced himself to the guardian of the giant. "Call me Kotsuko." Yeah, that was it. The young man had some more important things to worry about, after all. The young medic in training listened to the man, who had introduced himself as Yoshimitsu, beginning to explain what the hell that thing had been. As soon as he did, Kotsuko's eyes lit up like he'd just told him he'd won the lottery. "Frost Giant? I didn't even know such a thing existed! Haha, oh man, this is going to be great!" Kotsuko was way too excited for this, but if you knew him at all you'd realize this was exactly the kind of thing that Kotsuko lived for every day. New discoveries, new knowledge, and new challenges. Kotsuko's attention had now doubly focused, picking up every single piece of information the other man had to offer as he practically floated through the hospital. "Their body shattered, you say? Now that's an interesting one..." Kotsuko had never heard of something so strange. His mind was beginning to race with all of the possibilities that could possibly exist with such a creature and discovery, as well as the medical miracles that such a creature might hold. There was no telling if their physiology would be the same as a human's, so for all they knew the Frost Giant could have a completely different anatomical structure than they were used to. Yoshimitsu seemed concerned about the same thing, wondering whether Kotsuko would be able to handle something like that. Smirking the young boy pushed open a door that led to a staircase leading directly down into what appeared to be a subterranean cavern. "Heh, you're in luck. Anatomy and Surgery are my specialties. Now, please, down this way." Assuming Yoshimitsu followed the young man down the staircase, Kotsuko would allow the door to close behind them.

As the descended, it began to get colder and colder. A small light at the bottom of the staircase became brighter and brighter until it illuminated each and every step they took. At the base of the stairs, a doorway led into a much larger room. About 40 feet by 60 ft, and with a vaulted roof that soared high above them, Kotsuko knew this would be the best place to work on the creature. It was completely sterilized, and had a full stock of medical equipment for use. Not like he'd need it, though. As Kotsuko walked around, checking everything and prepping things for the procedures that would follow, he spoke to the Jounin who'd brought him his entertainment for the day. "This is where we deal with any larger, or potentially dangerous, patients. Usually we'll have a small squad of Jounin to subdue a potentially dangerous patient in here with us, but seeing as how this guy is dead..." As Kotsuko walked around, he stopped at the little thermostat unit that controlled the temperature and waved his hand over it. Funny, it didn't look like he'd actually touched the thing. "I don't know how necessary this is, but if this thing's a Frost Giant it might do us some good to keep it in a cooler environment. You might want to find yourself a jacket from that cabinet over there." Kotsuko motioned to a small storage room that existed over along the wall, filled with various equipment and clothes. Once the other man either got back from getting a coat, or indicated that he didn't need one, Kotsuko would raise his hand. Near the door, a lever pulled itself down—an alarm flared, the sound of metal sliding on metal was heard. The door seemed to have sealed itself off, not revealing any trace of where it had once been.

"Safety measure, just as a protocol. Who knows what might be in this thing's body. Speaking of which, do you mind summoning it again for me in here? Just lay him down on the ground, and I'll do the rest."
