Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

A top of his apartment complex Seki rested on his most prize possession, awaiting the morning lights. It was a pink frilly couch with which he dragged with him to all his meetings or missions. it clearly had seen better days, scorch marks and spikes abound its surface.

However to Seki it was still the most comfortable sofa/bed he'd ever had. It was also the only item he'd practice his morning ritual with.
The best part of waking up for most is coffee for seki, having gone through years of harrowing experiences. Coffee just didn't cut it anymore. No instead he'd launch himself into the air with a blast of water underneath his couch. Catapulting him off his building to start each and every day.
there is nothing like the threat of death every morning to really snap you out of your stupor.

When he'd started the ritual it took, a great deal of hesitation. However after more than 10 years of doing it, it became less nerve racking and more fun.

After a good few minutes and the lights truly starting shining. He performed a jutsu that shot a massive wave of water underneath him and his sofa. He griped onto it tightly as he "flew" just shy of the caverns lowest peak and began crashing down to the surface.
finally Seki let go just slightly before it was calculated he'd hit the ground and he strung out another jutsu. It was a smaller easier water jutsu that helped cushion his fall. Allowing him to go plop just as he hit the ground.

It seems nobody had seen his antics. That or nothing was reported yet again. It was crazy that such a staunch military organization with drafts for life had so little discipline. Seki dwelled on that as he slowly scooched his ass on the coach in to push it forward.
He was off to the market to buy some food.

On an off day, seki found entertainment reading out going and In going messages from telegraphers. Never having bothered dealing with a tv because the human interest stories more often than not sensationalized. Instead he found the action of reading peoples intimate conversations far more entertain and informative. It only took a couple yen here and couple yen there to provide this often wonderfully juicy piece of entertainment.

The day he slipped a couple more yen than usual was of course a slow "news" day. Nothing more than some boring family conversations about cooking roast had come up. That was until particular message from leaf appeared. Offhandedly potentially asking if he or anyone else would commit treason. Not ever being particularly loyal and very bored he was curious and replied back.

It only took moments to receive the next correspondence. It was a simple reply and completely validate his suspicion of treason. I took of meanderings back and forth before he'd chosen his course of action.

after finishing his reply Seki destroyed any trace of his conversation. by simply crumpling up the messages and burning them with a simple fire jutsu. than returned to his previous activity. Spying on the personal lives of his neighbors. Yet again, they were talking about the roast, which resulted in him letting out a frustrated sigh.

Seki walked about the bazaar or whatever it had been named, looking for a new pair of sandals or well material to make one. he'd destroyed his last pair like he'd done every morning. Ruining the resale value of his land lords home by flying into the sky.

The usual thing really. Normally he'd make some out of scrap wood and straw but he'd run out of his supply at home.
The district he'd first choose to look for them was bustling. Far too much for his taste, so he ducked out . No it was far more preferable to go to the shadier side of the merchant district. often the deals where better, and more to his liking. what Seki l Specifically liked was it was uglier and the people less likely to haggle. Although they would negotiate, but that was an entirely different idea.

It was more along the lines of buy this or I'll knife you. That or I'll knife you if you don't give me money. More often than not Seki "purchased" items from people that weren't for sale. They'd threaten him, he'd smack them silly once or twice and steal whatever junk they'd used to make a home.

So he'd casually strolled off into the back alley's in search for some wood and a person to antagonize. The cruel man exhaled at the wonders of life and joys of functionally "legally" obtaining goods with violence.
After twisting and turning from ally way to alleyway Seki finally found a decent mark. He'd looked scruffy enough to have been poor for awhile while simultaneously well fed. That meant to seki he was likely bully or at least apt at protecting himself. Either way good enough. Finally he had a makeshift hovel of wood.
Seki bounced right on top of him(literally just near) and shouted "Yosh".

The old man was visibly startled by the sudden intrusion. He'd convoluted slightly and took a step backwards . His foot landing awkwardly on a marble. Luck was not on his side and he tumbled to the ground unmoving.
Everything about the instance was instantly perplexing to Seki. The scruffy man did not stop convulsing despite the shock surely having past.

Visibly sweating with increasing tempo of twitching it was surmised by the seki he was either elliptic or on some form of narcotics.
Temporarily more interested in the event with which transpired, than gathering wood for sandals. Seki placed a bet with himself.
That the man was having a drug latent seizure versus a plain seizure. The rules where simple. If he was correct he could steal all of his stuff and slap him silly occasionally. If wrong, he'd drop the sob in front of some medical facility and be on his not so marry way.

On the count of three because insanity likes imaginary company. Seki would reveal whether or not drugged or legit issue. One Seki's eyes stared nervously at the side ways twitching man. Two His eyes bulged as sweat fell down his brow. Three In that instance he was no longer held back and lunged at the scruffy hobo. Immediately Seki threw the man on his back and revealed a needle in the mans arm.

Overwrought with Joy Seki ecstatically jumped up in the air . he'd won against himself in an honor bound deal he was no way shape or form going to uphold.

With haste Seki removed the wood from ran down shack and was on his way back home.

Roleplays:
Having proven the victor Seki couldn’t help but fantasize about his conquest. Of course not in a literal interpretation of the events that transpired. No, he had to expand on it. From a simple interaction with himself and a dying Bum and transformed into an epic battle of wit.

It didn’t matter that the exchange had been entirely with himself. No now it was between to eternal foes.
The bum now a herculean figure. Shouted back his retorts in a boom voice that uprooted trees. He’d argue “I am not using drugs”.

In reply Seki Swiftly dodge the upheaval brought about by his voice and concisely quipped back. “ than what about that needle!”
Whilst pointing at the protruding syringe from bums arm.
The look on the giant man’s face utter shock as if the actions undertaken had not been realized until so bluntly been pointed out. Beads of sweat ran across his face from the illusion of cleanliness dispiating him his reality and the illicit drugs setting in.
Shattered by reality he collapsed in defeat and the fight was over. Seki took his reward a golden laced piece of wood and was on his way.

The fantasy faded from the depths of Seki’s mind as soon as it had come. He’d left the merchant quarters and was back home. He of course didn’t believe the fabrication for a second but it was a worthwhile exaggeration making his trip all the quicker.
Seki leaped into his apartment from its open window and prepared to make his new shoes. .
